The data is on the internet, which I have the right to access. I download the data into my hard drive, which I own, therefore I can do with it as I please. Everything done is within our legal rights, and if anyone should be prosecuted, then it would be the people who rip the albums/films and post them online, but to what end? To send a message? Motherf***er, please, this is the 21st century. Companies make their profits no matter what happens, and it's not like they're losing significant sums of money anyway. I'd like to believe that we're more civilized than that for a little while longer (though I'd like to hear Sony's excuse on the matter, but I digress).
