Got some more Favorite superhero? What do you fear, if anything? (hopefully doesn't get too deep) Best cosplay you've ever seen? What would you do with a fire axe in Silent Hill? Speaking of, what do you think would be a monster you'd personally have to deal with in Silent Hill?
Joe's discussion afterwards is also really neat to listen to
I was liking the interview at first, but when the hard questions started getting asked, the dude (not Joe, obviously) just turned into an asshole, especially when he says that the benefits overcome the restrictions being imposed, and trying so hard to make Steam look lame just because they don't have the same game sharing features. He flat out avoids the question about the military too. So from this, and all of the information I've gathered so far, the only thing I've liked confirmed about the Xbox One besides the pretty good hardware specs: the game sharing, and that still a thing I'm iffy on thanks to NEEDING INTERNET.
Just naming a few I could remember from a while ago that aren't optional. Fire Leo (Viewtiful Joe) Alma - Awakened (Ninja Gaiden Black) Malus - Shadow of the Colossus
Yay Django .
Think I'll just add this in here. Nintendo: Devs concerned over used sales should make better games
Actually, I avoided saying that she doesn't do anything because she actually does do some substantial stuff Spoiler Granted, Superman's dad was telling her what to do, but she still helped stop the whole planet engine thing in a big way when Superman is first taken captive by Zod Still, most of what she did in order to move the plot forward felt like it had little character. I blame the writer and director though, not the actress.
Agree Also agree Mostly agree, there was way too much explanation of things that didn't need explanation, and I feel like the Krypton prologue was too much. Definitely one of my favorite parts too. Spoiler Another one of my favorites, I dunno if you'll agree, but when Superman had to watch his father die when he could easily save him...hit me right in the feels, and to me, was a good portrayal of how Superman constantly has to restrain himself Agree, I was expecting him to look a lot more different than...well, not looking different. Also, while Amy Adams isn't at all a bad actress, the film's portrayal of Lois is kinda...empty of character, save for the beginning. The chemistry between her and Superman just felt flat to me. Still a good movie, but it has its flaws. A masterclass in spectacular action scenes, an imperfect portrayal of the plot and characters.
I will challenge you once I have a Wii-U and Smash Bros.
And that's where you'd be wrong, along with most other people who fail to understand the character and don't even attempt to. There's so much for to a character than his powers. Superman's plot is really personal, and really touches on a lot of human ideals: preservation of society versus the choice of one's own identity, choosing whether to fight back or to stand down, how to trust someone (in this case, most of humanity) when you aren't wanted, the choice of an outsider to choose to protect a place that isn't his birthplace, and even what its like to have two families. A good fictional character is not defined solely by what his or her abilities are, it is what that character chooses to do with what he or she is able to do, and Superman really is something to strive for. But go ahead and call him uninteresting.
Ah, okey. I only OWNED the first game, but I really thought it was a fantastic game.
I'm all for more subdued character designs if that means that they're actually being developed well as characters who are unique from one another. XIII tried to do design over development. Bad move.
Just carry one of these
...color me shocked to hear you say that. If anything, to me Romeo and Juliet isn't close to romance done well or effectively (in my opinion), but that's not a bad thing really. They're more so an examination of the concept of young affection being shot down by people outside of the relationship, leading both characters to be unable to actually examine more so how they share likes and dislikes, along with similarities outside of both of their families not liking their relationship. They could have become a good relationship with actual deep love, but they never got that chance, so what they ended up as before their departure was a couple of people who think they're totally right for each other, without much development to really reach such a conclusion, but conclude it in their own minds due to the situations they're forced into by the people around them. And yeah, you could argue it's "unconditional love" but I just can't connect the relationship between Romeo and Juliet as love exactly. Not yet, and not with my own (and probably many others') understanding of love. Doug Walker did a good video explaining his thoughts on the matter, if you'd care to hear another viewpoint.
I'm not even going to ask about impressions we know what you'll say (I think?) Favorite vidya game? I'm genuinely curious What did you think of the big plot twist of Iron Man 3? (spoiler tag it I guess, and that's obviously if you've seen the movie) Worst film you've been forced to watch because of friend/family?
You have just encountered Microsoft fanboys. You're lucky they didn't call you unworthy peasants for not having perfect reliable internet connections, or wanting to actually play your games with a controller. There are Sony fanboys, mind you, and they're dumb too, but...to defend the Xbox One so vehemently as I've seen is just bewildering.
Uh
I'm not saying you're wrong, but could you give me examples of what you think would be pairings done right? I just wanna know your perspective
I look forward to more of your cynical humor and anime insight.
I don't recall (in the anime) their pairing to be forced that much. I'm on episode 19, and it does feel natural, although the marriage thing does seem a little much... Still better romance than Legend of Korra though.
