Aaaaaaaaaaaand that's some shitty reasoning
For about 2 weeks, you can pick up games like Saints Row 2 and 3, Sacred 2, and Risen 2, for any amount of money you wish to spend. Spend enough and you'll get Dead Island: Game of the Year and all of Saints Row 3's DLC! Linkage
(NOTE: NOT ACTUAL PORN) Just some of my favorites Gallery post where I found these.
I'll let someone else explain it, because apparently everything I've been posting lately, nobody wants to agree with.
Maybe it's just been so long for me, or maybe I just have genuinely bad memory, but I don't remember there having to be a father-daughter relationship thing between Booker and Elizabeth. Unless that whole pinky thing really does have to work out the way it did exactly... But still, I'm excited for this all the same. I REALLY doubt they'll even waste their time writing more stuff for there to be the same plot twists. It's just... Fuck it, I'm often made out to be cynical, but this is a thing I want to enjoy ._.
Only hurting yourself there.
But we don't know if it's going to be the same characters with the same relationships and the same story. We literally only know that these characters that look and sound like Booker and Elizabeth (and share names) are in Rapture, doing...well, we don't even know what they're doing yet. Think you guys are jumping on the boohoo train way too damn early. But maybe it's just that I'm actually optimistic about some things.
It took me 7 pages of reading only for my hope to be squashed.
Thank you, I completely forgot to point out the actual dialogue constantly being changed (for the worse) in many English dubs. But for Naruto, mainly I can't stand THE LEADING TITLE CHARACTER'S VOICE, and that's a really bad thing, since he's supposed to be the center of the story. There are other offenders in the English dub (Sakura, Danzo, Onoki to list a few)
I think you actually pull it off well :>
I'm completely oblivious to this, but what's wrong with Crunchyroll? Not defending it or anything.
I JUST FREAKING FINISHED READING ALL THE POSTS But maybe I could just put in my $0.02 anyway. All hypothetical, since I have no understanding of how the forums work :> I liked the Rep system because it meant I didn't have to start an actual conversation to tell a person "HEY, this post of yours was good." And it was limited, and it had some value. Let me know that people liked my stuff, but not every post in a thread, as it is with Likes now. Just the best posts. Now, for dereps, I totally understand the whole bandwagon hate thing about avoiding it, so how about they get limited to just one or two derep per post? None of this hoarding of hatred on one thing a person said, and they'll still understand that they might have said or gone about something in a wrong way. Or hell, even make it mandatory to add a comment to every rep/derep, with a minimum of a sentence or so? This way, it's still a generally positive tone around the place, but you'll still getting some feedback, and with the negative stuff being especially limited. Also, I don't get why anyone would care if the system's called Likes/Dislikes or Reps/Dereps. I get if this can't happen, but I just wish that this little feature were actually being utilized. As of now, it's worthless. For now, I'm in support of the Post Ratings thing.
But as much as I want to support the dubs, some of these dubs are just so terribly unwatchable, when I could watch the subs with (usually) genuinely good voice acting. I support dubs where they deserve it, like Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Dragon Ball Z (I tried the subs...no please), FLCL, Samurai Champloo, and Ghost in the Shell.
"I DON'T WANT TO READ" sounds kinda lazy to me. It's a terrible excuse I keep hearing from people who don't want to watch foreign films. Hope you'll understand that. It's not good when the show's supposed to be in a serious moment though. I couldn't ever take Kamina seriously in the Gurren Lagann dub because he just sounded awkward trying to do the whole comedic manly thing. I never said Johnny Yong Bosch is bad. He's just freaking everywhere, to the point where if I ever hear him, I just think up every other role he does, because he literally has the same voice for every role he's done. Vash=Ichigo=Soul Evans=Nero. Other English voice actors are guilty of this too, but this guy specifically is one I keep hearing. I didn't say that all Japanese voice actors are good though. But unfortunately from what I've seen with English dubs of anime, English voice actors don't seem to put as much effort. Maybe it's just me, because I've taken theater and choir classes and can tell the difference.
ALTERNATE UNIVERSE STORY DLC! And some extra combat mode
Then you should know how terrible an English dub can be :\ That sounds just extremely lazy to me, but whatever, I won't criticize you for it. There's jut a point where voice actors sound so dispassionate or over all bad (or once again, the male protagonist is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch), I need a version that isn't annoying or unintentionally hillarious/awkward.
Please tell me you've tried watching English dubs of Naruto, One Piece, or Elfen Lied.
And I am so glad not to know.
