By the time I looked for tickets to see it in cinemas, they were sold out ;-; so I only had the TV version which was brilliant in itself. I have been such a cocoon this weekend xD I also wanted to go to the convention but the tickets sold out before I knew they were on sale, plus I had no one to really go with and had no idea what I was doing this year.

Oh well, drooled all over it! And thankfully it's only a month until Christmas. I am sure I am more excited about this episode than anything else Christmasy xD

I loved this, I regenerated 3 times with 12 minutes spare at the end :3 The last level took a while as I stared at the moving squares for ages xD

So these are my thoughts on the episode:

Oh my word! It was glorious to say the least xD

It managed to be funny while still maintaining a good way of telling a story as well as adding in some fun parts for all the fans! It also had quite a bit of banter between the Doctor's which I think previous multi-doctor episodes failed to do which was always quite sad (not that I don't like The Five/Two/Three Doctors).

It makes me strangely happy that Galifrey was saved even if the Doctor hated his people in the end (well that was what it seemed before but of course this shows his deep regret) because it means the Master can come back as he was trapped in the timelock with Rassilon as well as ALL THE TIMELORDS! : D And I feel that some of the best episodes of classic who involved the timelords (TRIAL OF A FREAKING TIMELORD!!!) and it will be nice to see a modern adaptation of it. Of course, this is a bit of an assumption that he will go searching for Galifrey, he may not do it immediately or he may wait until the Daleks are all dead (meaning he will probably never find it xD). However, I was worried that bringing Galifrey back would just restart the Time war which isn't great as we don't want repeat stories but it could be that Clara hacks into the Dalek mind web thingy (forgotten it's actual name but basically how Oswin made them forget the Doctor) to make them forget their entire hatred of Timelords? Just a theory.

I thought John Hurt was fabulous and I am kind of glad Rose didn't return as her storyline feels complete but Billie is brilliant. I do kind of wish we could have had just a moment of 10 seeing The Moment incarnate as we only got a mention and a shocked face which was sad but fair enough.

My other sad point about it was not even seeing his regenerate into Eccleston which I can understand because he refused to be in it but it was literally a moment's filming unless that is why he didn't want to do it and he wanted a bigger part? Yeah, no idea, I guess Moffat offered him a role the size of Tennant's but he just refused. Anyway, I thought we would see him when Hurt started regenerating but oh well.

... Peter freaking Capaldi! That is all I can really say, I had a huge fangirl moment when we saw him xD Major eyebrow porn!

Also, I quite liked the cameo from Tom Baker even if it confused me a bit. Cat explained it as being a future Doctor who regenerated into a previous face but it still feels strange. I will come back to this in a bit!

So overall, great episode that not only favoured the last 50 years but also set up for another 50 years! Well, I hope so anyway!

Also, if you can, go watch The Five(ish) Doctor's reboot written by Peter Davison. It's a comedy sketch (I say sketch- it is a full blown episode that is like 30 minutes long) about Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy trying to get themselves into the 50th anniversary episode. It is rather funny, I love Davison's sense of humour as he just turns the whole thing into a joke! Anyway, it is on BBC iPlayer for people in the UK to see up until 30th November, I'm sure it can be found on google otherwise but I can't google it as I don't know what would work outside the UK so you will ahve to look.

But it makes me happy to see that they were actually in the 50th... I think anyway! xD

And now for the Christmas special. This piece of information came out today but it contains major spoilers and it shocked me quite a bit so view at your own discretion.

    SOURCE

So what do you all think of this?

My first thought when reading the headline was "What?" but I actually quite like this idea! It means the regeneration limit will be tacked at christmas so sooner than we all thought! I am quite excited to see how he will do it.

Another report (can't find it right now) talked of Matt Smith having a very emotional speech before he regenerates thinking he will die which is going to be heartbreaking for one! But this also messes up the idea that the curator in the 50th anniversary is a future incarnation as surely the Doctor would know he has a future. However, in the Name of the Doctor, his grave is his current TARDIS desktop theme... yeah.

Anyway, this report may be complete rubbish (however I have seen 2 different reports on the same subject... but that could just be reporting off a report if you get me.) So it's not definite yet but I kind of hope it is real as the feeling of him tackling the limit now quite cool plus to see the Doctor feel like he will actually die is quite a spectacle.

Hey look guys! Guess what influenced this! *ahem* copyright Misty of kh-vids.net 2012...

Anyway, I really like the art style of The World End with You (never played it though...) and I plan on furthering it this year so I made this in like an hour so it's not great but I was too lazy to change it. This isn't supposed to the the exact same style as the banner or TWEWY but it is based on them both :3

It is in for the 50th anniversary of Doctor who... funnily enough

Man, this is horrible, I have no words and it angers me that she can't do anything about it right now because she can't afford a lawyer. What would help with that is getting an education which the school stopped, man I hope this is seen by more people so it can be fixed.

Spoilers for anyone who isn't looking at anything about the 50th :3 I could not have such restraint.

    Soooo, incase anyone is interested:

    MOTHERFLIPPING PREQUEL! LIKE KS\HGKJHSNGD!

(Also, the people in red, I think, are a tribe from a classic Who episode called The Brain of Morbius with Four and Sarah Jane Smith- it is a brilliant episode, one of my favourite Fourth Doctor stories so far)

Also, I have just had a thought, I watched "The Shakespeare Code" yesterday from series 3 (so after his travels with Rose) and obviously Elizabeth I is there and is angry at the Doctor for some reason we have never known but will probably discover in the 50th anniversary. Of course the Doctor said "I don't know, I haven't met her yet." when asked why she was mad so that means the 10th Doctor in the 50th must be after series 3 so basically not traveling with Rose.

That begs the question- how is Rose there or is she not Rose but someone else since in all the promo pictures she isn't depicted with the 10th Doctor but either by herself or "The War Doctor". She also isn't dressed like Rose and in the trailer you can clearly see her eyes light up like they do when she was the Bad Wolf in series 1. My current thoughts are perhaps she is the Bad Wolf or something significant but I don't think she is the Rose we know, perhaps a projection from the 10th Doctor or something? Any theories?

We have all assumed she is Rose (and this is so Moffat- to use the expected and assumed to throw people off track) but she may not be.
