I know what you mean :3 My main concern with it was there was no small scale cliffhangers (not like the end of Name of the Doctor xD but you know- everything is dying and the aliens have won and the Doctor is about to die and then you have to wait until next episode). The classic series thrived on them, their serials were made up of 2-6 and more episodes which I absolutely love because the suspense is wonderful : D I don't know, the single episodes work fine and they are wonderful but it just feels like a more glorious episode when it's two parter, plus some stories need more than 45 minutes just to flesh them out. But really it depends on the story.

I was in a club once and pretended I was deaf to a guy hitting on me, when he turned away to get a drink I smoothly ran into the dancing crowds. I was in no way attracted to him though, and I was drunk, and it was in a club.

That same night though I met the current guy I'm sort of seeing so it wasn't a total loss and giving him my number was easy when he just asked for it.
