Nobody I know goes here
You sound just like my headcanon
Difference is, Sony is a BIG company that does a lot more than just make games. Not just game consoles, but DVD players, Blu-Ray players, TV's, music records, etc etc. Square Enix is a publisher of video games first and foremost, though they do still develop games obviously. They have a much, much smaller production scale than Sony. It is true though, that the AAA Japanese side of video games lately has been kind of disappointing. How many Japanese developed games are we seeing winning awards in the past 6 or so years? And how many new IP's have been well received that were Japanese? As Libre put it (better than I'm about to) It's a combination of reasons for this: trying to appeal the widest demographic possible while alienating people who actually liked the original series', spending way too much time and money on aesthetics rather than focusing on gameplay, pushing the sale of DLC that could have (read: should have) been on the disc for no cost, constantly misunderstanding the fan base, attempting to rely on making sequels/remakes/reboots of once successful series' instead of trying to really try making successful new ones, outsourcing development too often (see: Konami's treatment of Silent Hill,) and feeling that porting many would-be successful games would be detrimental. Of all the reasons I've posted, Capcom has been the worst offender in my eyes, so I can't say that I didn't expect this. Still, I hope they figure out how to buckle down and actually focus on making fun, substantial games again.
;3
Get that Homestuck BS out of here
Yup, we finally got a release date...well, a vague one, but still: 2015 Director is Colin Trevorro, who directed films like "Safety Not Guaranteed" (which I liked.) No plot synopsis or cast revealed yet.
I don't think there's a limit to the people who can share your library, so much as simply the number of systems
It ain't bad, but it's harder for me, personally, to get hooked when I can just go watch something else that does all of these things, and better. Enough on criticizing the series though, I really would love if the team released some sort of Official Soundtrack, especially if they're released (fingers crossed) for free.
It seems like you guys keep missing the thing I've quoted twice now, but I think I've figured out how to write my justifications. Marushi seems to come closest so far. When it comes to The Dark Knight, Joker's quote ("Why so serious?") was so interesting to see, because it pretty much summarized his careless attitude, something that people weren't seeing in 2008's big films, especially since the United States of America was still in such a paranoid attitude after the 9/11 attacks. So many people kept thinking of what terrorists were planning, or what they're motivations were. The Joker, on the other hand, didn't have either plans nor motivations. He literally was "a dog chasing cars," and Heath Ledger's portrayal is still one of the most beloved performances in recent film history. The quote is used to this day, in order to almost make fun of someone else being severe. That's just a short version of my actual justification.
THIS IS WHAT I WANTED THANK YOU STEAM FOR READING MY MIND For real though, now my brother can finally finish Bioshock Infinite without bitching about not knowing which save is it
Tahno sure looks BENT OUT OF SHAPE HAHAH
Thanks for reminded me of what I hated most about Legend of Korra no seriously I was just getting to be excited for Season 2
I'm going to go ahead and assume MegaMewtwo Y is the offensive Mega Evolution, while MegaMewtwo X is the defensive Mega Evolution. Just seems obvious from their appearances. Yeah, I have to say, the 1st Evolutions of the Starters look kinda awkward, but then again, that's nothing new (like, in my opinion, Wartortle, Croconaw, Marshtomp, Combusken, Prinplup, Monferno, Grotle, and Pignite.) Though I do like Froakie's evolution. I'm confident their 2nd Evolutions will look awesome, as always. Also, these are the new changes in the Type Effectiveness chart. (included Fairy's strength against Dragon just for convenience) OFFENSIVELY: -Fairy is strong against Dragon, Dark, Fighting, not very effective against Steel, Poison, Fire, DEFENSIVELY: -Fairy is resistant against Bug, Fighting Dark, weak against Poison, Steel, immune against Dragon -Steel is no longer resistant against Dark, Ghost
And I have classes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays :>
My God discussing politics, I forget how stupid it can get. But I will go onto debate this. ...I can't fathom the reason for making this statement. You're saying that, if I let a completely innocent looking person comes into a person's house, then he/she proceeds to betray my trust by pulling out concealed weaponry I couldn't see before and killing a person, it's somehow all my fault? Did I tell that person to kill someone? Did they tell me that he/she was actually a killer? How is it my fault and not the fault of the person who's actually executing these crimes?
Basically, a quote you would add to the Top 100 list, with movies (in primarily English) up to a release date within the year 2012. And you guys are missing the point of this: It needs to be more about this: Tummer's justification for his quote I THINK would work, since he describes how we use the quote, or something similar, for our own life experiences, but I personally never hear the quote >.> I'm thinking of Joker's quote, "Why so serious?" from The Dark Knight, but I'm just unsure if it would work. I don't know if it really had that much of a cultural impact, changed how people spoke, or showcased the human experience exactly. If I do use it, I might attempt justifying it with the 3rd choice (human experience.)
I'm guessing xSplit is not free?
My newest homework assignment for my Intro to Cinema class consists of me choosing 3 film quotes that should be included on the AFI (American Film Institute) Top 100 Movie Quotes, but aren't. Thing is, I also have to justify why I chose each movie quote: I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm having a hard time grasping that justification part when it comes to film quotes. I really can't quite figure out what would make a quote that important for anything but being memorable. Could you guys help? Maybe break down some quotes you think are important, and why?
Nova did the honors for me. Also, remember these guys? HO-OH IS THEIR GANG LEADER
Nu uh. Dat Ho-Oh.
