I think live action films are obviously a different adaption and people can get mad because the original was an animation and this live action will interfere with the original story. In things like animes, I feel it's a lot harder to translate it to a live action because it's such a unique form of animation, a lot of exaggerated expression and feeling is portrayed in how it's presented but with something like Sleeping Beauty, it's not the same, it's just drawn as if they were human. This is sort of why I dislike anime to live action but something like Maleficent doesn't bother me too much.

I personally find opening up the story of Maleficent very interesting because, yes she is a villain, she is evil, but she is also someone who was made that way- all villains are there to be hated but we never get their side of the story. To me it's like in real life, we find it easy to hate on someone who has been horrible or done something terrible but we never consider their side of the story- we could throw insults at them not understanding their lives and think it okay when that makes us no better than them. Maleficent is evil but she was made that way in some shape or form and I like that that is being explored. I hope it teaches that although someone may seem evil on the outside, they aren't always as bad as they are made out to be.

I regularly work 4-7 hour shifts in the kitchen with no breaks, I only take them if I desperately need a moment away from the kitchen which has yet to happen because I like getting into the zone at work and staying there.

I remember the days of my old computer where I was constantly having less than 1GB of space free in the main drive that needs lods of space for the computer to think and stuff so nothing could ever get done ;-;

I had no idea @Roxam has watched the Fifth Doctor : D woo! It's hard to tell who has seen classic Who and who hasn't (DARLINGS IT'S AMAZING GO AND FREAKING WATCH IT!)

Currently going through Pertwee era and it is quite amusing, such a badass Doctor that reflects Pertwee himself quite strongly from what I've heard of him. It's a shame I could never meet Troughton, Pertwee and Hartnell ;-;

No one can force you to watch and like it, not everyone does like it, it just doesn't resonate with other people. God knows I've tried getting my sister to watch it, she enjoys it and watched the 50th anniversary but she wouldn't sit there religiously and watch every episode like I do.

The great thing with this show is that if there is a part you don't like then there are millions of other writers/doctors/companions or just era's in general. One Doctor won't resonate as well with people as with others, same with the writing so if you give it another chance then watch an episode from a Doctor you haven't seen. I will happily recommend some of the best episodes from each Doctor that you can try. If you still don't like it then that is your choice, you shouldn't be shunned, but I suppose that is the collective mentality of fans- when grouped together they will shun the nonbeliever xD Of course you don't have to give it another chance, it's your choice.

I refused to touch the show for years, it was a nerdy show therefore I automatically hated it... and then Cat came along and I gave it a chance and oh would you look at me now xD Just to say, I do have a bit of an undying love of this show and although I see episodes where the writing is weaker than in others, I still love it nonetheless.
