"You seem somewhat familiar, have I threatened you before?"
Helo Again by Hoobastank
OOC: Sorry, work has been kicking my ass, so I've had a hard time getting back to this RP. Now then... The moment Arrow stepped through that door, he felt himself slip into unconsciousness. When he finally woke up, he was standing in a vast plain that seemed to stretch on to nowhere. In front of him was a fork in the road which split into three directions. On the intersection of these paths was a scruffy-looking middle-aged man in a tuxedo with raged dark brown hair that went down to the base of his neck. Arrow noticed that he was sitting on a worn-out guitar case. As Arrow approached the old man, he also noticed that as he drew closer, the paths were beginnning to change; the path to his left led to a clouded sky with the faint rumbles of thunder and few flashes of lightning coming from the distance, the road to the right had a strang ray of sunlight pierce through the clouds, illuminating the road up ahead, and the gray cloud's in the middle road blanketed the sky completely, but he could feel a breeze coming from it. "The door to Light", the old man said. "It's a power that answers to the desires of those with strong hearts, and leads them to that which they most desire." The old man looked up at the great big cloud above them. "When a strong heart submits to it's own Darkness without being consumed by it for a long period of time, it eventually becomes tainted during the struggle between light and dark, and eventually becomes unstable." Arrow put his hand to his chest and gripped his shirt tightly. Since he had woken up, he had felt this odd feeling in his chest, but he didn't know what it was. It was like his heart was surrounded by a slow-moving whirlwind. "An unstable heart is a confused little thing", the old man said. "It's like a small child that doesn't know where to go after it's lost the mother that held it's hand for so long." The old man tucked his sunglasses into the pocket in his blazer, revealing two pitch-black eyes with glowing yellow irises that pierced into Arrow's. "What I'm telling you, Keyblade Master Arrow Faerren, is that the light in your heart has gone to sleep, and it doesn't know whether it belongs to the darkness...", he stretched his left arm toward the storming path on the left, "...or the light", this time his right arm stretched to the path on the right. Arrow looked at the cross he had pulled from his pocket earlier. He knew he had to go back to the light, so whatever this old man was talking about wasn't important. The Old Man stood on his feet and held his guitar case in front of himself. He laughed a low, cackling chuckle from under his breath. "With a heart like yours, regardless of the path you choose, the struggle in your heart will eventually cause it to break even futher, and you will find yourself in Oblivion, where your heart will become empty and you will become an equally empty wandering shell. And if you do somehow return to the light, your unstable heart will become a beacon for the Heartless, and they in turn will distort the worlds even further than they already are." Arrow clutched his cross and walked towards the right path. "I'll keep that in mind, but in the meantime, there are things I have to take care of. It sucks, but I'm not the kind of person to turn away from his responsibilities." The old man unlocked his guitar case and swung it open. Inside was a void with strong wind sucking everything in front of it inside. "Then face your darkness and return to this world with a heart of Darkness and Light!" Holding his cross tightly in his hand, Arrow jumped into the void and followed the wind that drew him inside. And so the world went black.
Glad to have you back in one piece, man.
Yeah, I got it covered. Thanks, anyway.

Kick Out The Jams by Rage Against The Machine Ever tried sleeping to Rage Against the Machine tracks? I had a dream where I castrated Fidel Castro. Seriously.
Yo, if you've got a moment to spare, can you give me a hand with how to put a custom background to my profile?
Bombtrack by Rage Against the Machine Ah~, it's like going back to my roots.
Crawl Back In by Dead by Sunrise As a matter of fact, yes.
Have a good one, kiddo.
You just had a genuine "Hey you kids, get off my lawn" moment, and you wasted it. I tsk at you. I found this high-larious.
Takedown by Yellowcard This is the stuff I play Pokemon to.
Somewhere in the world, Mr. Christie is waking up with a horse head under his sheets.
As far as trendy Pop music goes, I think it's okay (considering I haven't wasted my speakers yet). It's something I'm probably going to hear walking by the Gap and it will dissapear off the face of the Earth after 3 months, just like Pop music does. Good for her for recording something "decent", though.
Echelon by 30 Seconds to Mars I'm not surprised their first album isn't all that great.
I really pulled this list out of my ass, but I feel pretty sure about the first 5 games. 1. Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite The concept is incredibly entertaining once you've gotten the hang of it. 2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic A fast-paced Star Wars RPG with interesting characters and a good storyline with alternate endings based on in-game decisions is enough to win me over any day. 3. Halo: Reach You customize your own Spartan and wreak havoc on XBox LIVE. Nice way to kill an uneventful afternoon. 4. Soul Calibur III a) I like the Custom CHaracter concept in a fighting game. b)Chronicles of the Sword was the best idea ever because it not only gave your custom character an actual story to play through but an easy method to unlock more goods to customize him/her with. c) The interactive cutscenes were fun because they klept you on your toes even when you're not playing. d) Decision-based alternate endings for the Arcade characters. That's just fun. 5. .hack//G.U. (series in general) Nothing bad can be said about it. If it had more replay value, it would probably be higher up on this list but it's not that kind of game, but whatever. They are so worth playing through. 6. Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus Not only do we finally hear the backstory about Vincent Valentine's Byronic fall from grace, but it['s done in the form of a 3rd person shooter. The gun-customization system was also a big plus, but it did have a few annoying glitches. 7. Devil May Cry 4 Nothing really special, but the story mode is quicik to play through and Bloody Colliseum isn't all that bad either, so it has some replay value. Besides, it's Devil May Cry. 8. Armored Core: For Answer I like to design and customize things, and although AC gives me limited freedom to do so with my Mecha, it's fun to tweek with whatever I can just to see what does what. 9. Jak III Race around the wastelands and wreak havoc in the city an open world that only becomes more open once you finish the story. There isn't much to do at that point, but it's still no too bad to go back and just enjoy the levels and whatnot. 10. Kingdom Hearts II I killed time with it and I like the controls. Boss fights can be unnerving and party members only get in the way at times, but it has it's solid points, too. I mostly just like to go back to other levels and play with combos.
