-Why are you waiting for Kill la Kill to be dubbed in English before watching it? Is it for convenience? -Who's your best character in Smash Bros? (you can say if they're for Melee or Brawl or Project M or whatever) -Most anticipated game supposed to come out this year? -Just for fun, what's your opinion on David Cage?
Pretty much my theory since the whole "Sutherland is Snake" fiasco come about. I'm calling it: there'll be a sequence after the main story where we play as a Metal Gear 1 aged Solid Snake, voiced by David Hayter.
Girl. Please.
It's a pretty average experience, with more monotony than cool moments. The game's terrible at balancing out staggers from enemies, especially the AT-ST Walkers. At least it's loads better than the sequel, apparently.
I'll admit that I haven't caught up since the Mid-Season Premiere. The first half of Season Four was alright, but having to wait for the second half and the fact that the first episode of the second half of Season Four was just boring to me caused me to lose a lot of interest. I'll try finishing Season Four though, since I've got them recorded.
Anime: -Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (my favorite anime) -Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (my second favorite anime) -Kill la Kill (last two episodes will air within two weeks I believe) -Code Geass -Ga-Rei: Zero -Angel Beats Non-Anime: -Avatar: The Last Airbender -Archer -American Horror Story (I personally haven't started Coven yet, which is the third season) -It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia -The Walking Dead (at least the first two seasons are good...) I might think up more later. I didn't put The Legend of Korra because of how disappointed I was with it as of season two. Just...a lot of flawed writing, missed opportunities, and lack of satisfying payoff. You can give it a try, but it's NOWHERE near the level of quality as the original Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The first.
I am so non-surprised that I called what this would be related to before opening it.
RUMBLE'S NEW SKIN IN LEAGUE IS REFERENCING GURREN LAGANN TIME TO PLAY A BUNCH OF GAMES TO BUY RUMBLE
Dinny, I myself am taken, but I got some friends over here who you could find fun ;D
I myself get that, but it seems like a bunch of people criticizing Ground Zeroes don't. Also I just really hated how such a mediocre experience as Gone Home became acclaimed so eh.
THEN WHY THE HELL DID THIS GAME GET SO MANY DAMN AWARDS?
Yeeeeee I love things like this. Limit Breaks have been ma shit since Final Fantasy VIII, so when I actually get to SEE it done with some kind of visual shift, it's da bes (like when Raiden's all "Doktor I need to feel pain real quick YEAH THAT'S THE STUFF".) And I imagined you were going to say "AND MY EYES GLOW A SHINY TEAL" but having looked up the Wonder Eyes Red that's cool too.
Tongue-in-cheek only goes so far for me before I find something just plain annoying, which best sums up how I feel about that Fall Out Boy (as well as Panic at the Disco AND NO I'M NOT ADDING THAT STUPID EXCLAMATION MARK.) To me, they try so hard to be hip and cool and funny (Fall Out Boy's lyrics have never seemed clever to me) that they instead just kinda seem like the attention whores I got to hate being around starting in high school (who ironically were usually the biggest fans of such bands, but I don't want to imply that EVERY fan is like that, at all.) I just...don't feel a passion for rock from these people, while I do at least get that notion from Breaking Benjamin (though I do have a little beef with them; how many times can they write songs that use "breath," "forever," "end," and other go-to dramatic words?) I hope I don't sound like the party pooper, I just don't get the whole pop-punk-rock or whatever scene that Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco seem to have popularized.
NO, IT'S Spoiler
I don't like Fall Out Boy. I tried to get into their music in high school when half of the people I knew in my age group were rabid fans, and it just didn't do it for me, and the music still doesn't interest me now more than 3 years later. I hate the singer's voice, I don't find their lyrics clever nor their riffs and such to give much of a "rock" vibe, I don't care for the general style of them visually or musically, and I STRONGLY dislike that they dared call their new album "Save Rock and Roll." But you guys have fun listening to them. At least the loud parts of their fan base don't seem as obnoxious as they used to be.
Yeah, this is the stuff I like. Anyway questions and shit: - ...whatever, impressions? - favorite animated series (NOT INCLUDING ANIME)? - now for favorite anime - favorite rival character(s) in video games? - if you could add one section to KH-Vids, what would it be? - CHOOSE YOUR SUMMON - favorite bosses in Kingdom Hearts? - what would your form of a power-up/transformation be like?
The first time I saw the game being played was by someone who picked Fighter.
It's a solid looking game. I love how the combat is reminiscent of Paper Mario, and the writing is great (for my taste, anyway.)
I saw this film a second time last night. Just....excellent. The jokes and the plot and the dialogue are all so well-written that the film doesn't even need to rely on the brand recognition of say Batman or LEGO in general, and the story it tells has such great themes. Really amazing that this film is as good as it is, when it could have so easily been another cheap cash grab with a lack of creativity. I want more films like this to come about.
