Surprisingly, just disabling a few add-ons helped tremendously ._. My guess is that it might have been a combination of Greasemonkey, DownThemAll, DownloadHelper, and maybe BetterTTV. Thanks Misty and Karuta for the super obvious yet super helpful advice lol
Ok, so I don't think this was worth a thread in the Technology section. Anyway, Firefox 28 is hella slow for me, especially using things like YouTube and imgur. The browser tries to chug along, and the computer isn't at all bad. Chrome is lightning fast, and I'm finding myself relying on it more and more now, which is sad because I love the add-ons and features of Firefox. So yeah, how the hell do I fix Firefox? I cleared my cache and whatever multiple times, resulting in the speed issue not being resolved at all.

Spoiler I think the Original Life Fiber was meant to be used as a last chance win for Ragyo if she and Nui couldn't just kill Ryuuko and the gang normally, cause remember how Ragyo had Nui pretty much fuse with the Original Life Fiber to boost her to final form? That's just an idea though. The finale showed just how clearly the crew were being rushed to meet the dates set. Way too much action with way too little actual explanation. No doubt they want to redo the series in a movie, like they did with Gurren Lagann (though that series was much better held together throughout its run.)

They all have better mechanics than Dirge of Cerberus, especially in shooting (obviously.) You cannot stand still in these games and expect to win a battle (at least, not against competent players in the multiplayer ones.) Just look up what Half-Life did to improve shooting games beyond "run around and shoot and don't die." I don't like to state bias, but your statement reeks of it. It's fine to not like many other shooters, but to think Dirge of Cerberus does the job better is a pretty big stretch.
...all good shooters make you think about positioning. And while Dirge of Cerberus had the very basics of good shooters, it didn't really do anything else to make those mechanics really excel. The transformation thing was neat, but it would have been cooler to have different forms to it.
