They merged, may not have been complete but it is enough for the Cutscene in KH:3D to have happened at all.
I don't think that is how it will end I believe there will be a plot twist like this was master Xehanort's plan all along kind of twist, he falls just as Sora and Riku Open the door to Kingdom Hearts and the keyblade wars begins and the war over the fate of the future begins and that is how the next game sage starts and I want to see Sora and Riku guarding Kingodm Hearts and as final bosses. Also I looked at his wiki page and it mentioned nothing about it being a lie to trick Terra
Yes but they are individuals and it is possible that this is a replica (remember the replica project) I mean by Young Xehanorts own words there needs to be a body at the time you wish to go to for them to be able to come to the future. Edit: also to be clear it is the essences of people that travels from the past to the future not the people themselves

Honestly I like this version of time travel it makes sure you can't go back in time to screw things up without lossing your form and other such abilities I mean what did Ansem really do when he was in his hooded form other than travel from world to world and give riku the join the darkside speech
Exactly they fused so even if he is destroyed they are both one being and as 3D shows Vanitas is still around or capable of comming back
He is trying to end the tyranny of light and bring about the coexistance of the light and dark which leads me to believe there is so much more to his plan then we have been led to believe. Cosidering his heartless wanted to plunge the universe in darkness and his nobody wanted to plunge the universe in nothingness (basically seeing how his vision of the universe is warped much like the heartless).
Actually the heart of Ven is no longer pure due to the Vanitas merge however I feel that if giving the blade of a keyblade master is an initiation then the thing that would one up that is getting the heart or hearts however you look at it of keyblade wielders.
Honestly the only reason why Vanitas`s durability sucks ass in fights against the main characters is because he is a being of pure darkness against a weapon of light, it just isn`t a fair fight. And thank you for explaining Aqua, nice job

Master Xehanort and Xemnas are my favourate, Sephiroth takes a close third place.
If they are doing a star wars bit then have a star wars the clone wars thing where the Jedi are searching for the seperatists who seem to be looking for something to turn the tide of the war. makes it seem plausable just show a random world and have a four way death match (Xemnas, Jedi, Sith, and Sora)
I say two blades in each hand or like in the KH2 final mix roxas battle two in your hands and two murder stomping people behind you.
But this is time travel so Ansem, Xemnas can't be whole ... Isa, and Braig could be but if the first two die they become old Xehanort? Anyway Vanitas must be one of them I mean the golden eyes are enough for you to guess, that and I want to fight Unversed, Heartess, and Nobodies all at once in a 1000 heartless battle related senario. Also no riku replica unless you are telling me they made another replica of Riku only when he is 30 years old and is tall enough to blend in with the rest of the cloaks.
Well I think Riku and Sora finish him off and they both open the door the kingdom hearts bring the light back I mean it would be a good way to end it (light and darkness coexisting/working together and all that garbage).

The existance of Xemnas defys Kingdom Hearts physics which are basically our laws of physics with the warping that is to be expected when magic exists as well as science so why would Xemnas follow Star wars phyics also this fight takes place on earth which as far as I know doesn't exist is either universe so assuming this is true they are in a place that is bound our physics (I am sorry this is what I intended to begin with should have made that clear) so yeah both are in a field they aren't used too. I am not biased I am just not aquainted with this badass vader your talking about I only knew movie vader and when has Vader displayed the force powers that starkiller uses I have played the game and I have never seen him use anything more than force choke and push, granted Vader may have taught him how to use those abilities but we never see him use them himself ... and force slow just slows you down all it would do is make Xemnas's speed blitzs visible and he can just instinatious teleport infront of Vader then drain his life force with that those gem looking things. also your trailer is definately a starkiller feat his armor isn't as thick as vader's and when has his shoulder plates ever been shiny and if that isn't enough Vader says "You have done well my apprentace.". Also for the base Xemnas video can anyone tell me if that is creating an alternate realm to fight in or if that is just teleportation of some sort also you showed the black hole Xemnas opened up which is Beyond vader period and the only reason Sora and Riku weren't pulled in was because he wanted to kill them himself. beginning -1:20 you see Xemnas reconfigure a crippled dragon ship, open a black hole, and warp the world around him. Also in 1:14-1:20 you can see that in his armored form he is basically darth Nihilus just an empty suit of armor then we have those light beams. Also if vader got his butt kicked by Starkiller that expression means nothing
