I'm just critiquing the voices as they fit the characters in my opinion; I really like the English Sanageyama and Nonon, for instance. I don't really care as much for if it's close to the original. I far prefer the English voices of DBZ's Goku and Vegeta, and the English dub of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and some other English dubs, because they fit the characters better in my opinion than the Japanese voices do. But still, at least one casting is seriously bad to me: Senketsu. I don't think I'll have that judgement swayed anytime either.
Maybe you could try watching a few episodes instead of making a closed-minded statement like this? And really, less clothing instantly makes a story and characters ridiculous?
Wouldn't you be able to tell if you're banned by not being able to post a reply to a thread or something?
Finished the second episode not long ago and gonna start the third in a few minutes. Also, completely unrelated: I need to finish my new theme already.
SO I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THIS THREAD Finished Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and started Stardust Crusaders and now I'm all hyped for more Stand stuff after finally seeing them.
Sup.
Oh yeah, I liked her too, but she was far more annoying to me than Mako or Jakuzure ever were, up to the end of the series.
Satsuki is ehhhhh. Senketsu is terrible. Also, Yeah and nah. They should do something similar, but not just take the efforts of someone else unless they paid them something. Honestly, Troy Baker could have done well as Senketsu. Far better than the guy they've got now at least. I honestly found Mako to sound alright. Annoying? Without mentioning Spoiler HER?
I'll give you that, but hers is one of the voice actresses I feel needs to be at least good. She's too vital to the story to be barely ok. I'm a little more lineant I suppose, as I found Sanageyama and Jakuzure to have perfectly fitting English voices, but everyone else so far ranges from "ok I guess that works" to "this is why I barely watch English-dubbed anime." And yeah, those subs in the trailer were shite. I kinda expect the actual release will be better, but I won't be watching to see lol.
Cat, just work on your Ripple Respiration more.
This is essential. Also Ryuuko. Also Satsuki. OH WOW THREE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTERS.
Just finished Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Was not expecting to like the anime as much as I do. So many interesting twists and engaging characters. Can't wait to start on Stardust Crusaders now.
Because of overpowered moves like Dark Void and Shadow Force, the high number of Legendary Pokemon introduced in just one generation, and that's when I actually started caring about training my Pokemon in terms of their Stats, Natures, Abilities, etc. rather than just levels. Ah, that's alright then.
Atlas be like.
Ever since Pokemon Platinum, I've lived by the credo: Legendaries are for the weak, unless you're playing solo or with friends solely for fun.
Yeah, the English dub is what I expected: half-decent, half-shit. Only Sanageyama and Jakuzure sounded good to me from the trailer, with Mako, Gamagoori, and Inumuta being just ok (well, I'm a little more lenient with Mako; she fits alright.) I mean, the voice actress for Satsuki is clearly trying, but I don't get the same notion of confidence and dominance from her. Mikisugi is whatever. My two biggest gripes though? Senketsu...ugh. His voice actor sounds just like Johnny Yong Bosch, which was one of my most feared casting decisions (not because I hate the dude, but because the fucking English dub guys keep sticking him in roles THAT DON'T FIT HIS VOICE. Seriously, he was great as Lelouch in Code Geass, but he shouldn't be used just because he's popular.) Senketsu's English voice now sounds way too young and inexperienced for Senketsu's character. Ryuuko...she just sounds kinda bland. Nowhere near as bold as she should sound for the character. I can tell her voice actress is trying (as I said with Satsuki,) but it just isn't working; it sounds like she's trying too hard. As for using Goku Uniform: expected, so don't really care about that decision.

Some more of my opinions now: I almost consider Minutes to Midnight to be in its own middle-age as far as the albums sound. Hybrid Theory, Reanimation, and Meteora are the band's best albums to me because they all felt like the band's most confident, consistent, focused, and personal efforts. No song on any of those three albums is bad to or even just average to me. Minutes to Midnight was a clear departure, with obvious focus shifting to less personal, more...global(?) lyrical themes, and a very inconsistent and generally pretty generic rock band sound (seriously, half of that album's songs sounded like any other rock band could have written/played them. "Shadow of the Day" is boring and uncreative. "Given Up" is any hard rock band with a screaming vocalist. "Valentine's Day"...ugh.) The release of "New Divide" (or "What I've Done" 2.0) is when Linkin Park seemed to switch to their new sound (in my mind,) ranging from fantastic ("Lost in the Echo" and "The Catalyst" and "Castle of Glass") to, unfortunately, annoying ("The Messenger" and "Victimized") or boring ("Burn It Down" or "Until It Breaks".)
Sure, I'll get Big Poppa upgraded.
Yeah....interesting choice...
