Pretty much this. Many of the shows from the 90s that I used to watch when I was really young (like, 8 or younger) are easy to find on things like Netflix or Youtube or a hundred other services, and honestly, they do not hold up. A few do: mainly the more story and action focused like Gargoyles and Beast Wars, but I'll gladly skip watching anymore, say, Catdog or Doug. Try watching new stuff too. Nostalgia can be a bad thing to frequent.
So far, these two are looking to be my best picks. They're available at the base exchange I frequently shop at, where I won't have to pay tax. Here are the two with some copy-pasted pics and features. Guessing this won't work for us in North America? (also could I just rename a wifi network and have this work?)
But...I don't hate you :<
Alienware is a hell no. My friend has an Alienware laptop and already advises none of us to get one. Sure they're good, but you can easily get the same performance and graphics with a different name and cheaper price. Alienware is paying for a brand. Just in general, or specific models?
Looking to get one sometime this year. Won't be my main computer; that's my future desktop. Still want a pretty good laptop that can play a few games on better-than-shit graphics with good performance; for instance: League of Legends, Payday 2, and if possible, Fallout 3/New Vegas and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Price range: up to $900. (Lemme know if this thread needs to be moved too.)
That's totally understandable. I'm just ore the kind of guy who likes to pose his figures ;P
Cause Roberto Orci is officially done with the film series. Pretty big when Spider-Man is pretty much their biggest series right now. Not a single ounce of disappointment there. If only they could put the film series into competent hands.
Yeah, das one of the super high detail ones. The ones I want are just around $40-$60 ._.
Honestly, as long as you don't go into the super high detail figures, they're reasonably priced on many sites. For me, I prefer having detailed figures that are poseable.
Yo figures? These are a few that I want: Spoiler I just love using his voice. It makes everything boring funny.
Japanese game devs/pubs be weird Eh, as you said, we haven't even seen the movie yet. I''m pretty sure the writer/director had no intention of imposing racist themes, even subliminally. It's stupid that it even happens to be in the trailer, yeah, but it could be a case of making something out of nothing. We can't be sure yet. I can send you my address :P Wow my ears suck. You definitely should give Kill la Kill a shot. For me, I loved it from the first episode, though many people say you'll either stick with it or drop it by episode 3. I can understand why; one of the characters gives what is to me a good commentary on the state of female sexualization. At the least, I agreed with the character. And the lesbian thing...well, I'll just let you watch. THE ACTION SCENES WHEN THEY CAN USE THE BUDGET THOUGH.
This one: I really dislike the grey one.
The worst part of building computers for people.
Oh yeah, I like just about all of the other Batgirl outfits. Cassandra Cain and The Animated Series are also in my favorite looks.
I have to side with Nate here... I mean, just look at this:
I'm not well informed with comics, so my bad with not knowing that was Wonder Woman's most current outfit. Perhaps I did exaggerate a bit with how artists are redesigning female superheroes. I meant standard by something that I could see in the actual world, realistically. A leather jacket, tights, and boots? Couldn't miss a day of high school without seeing that at least once. I admit, that was stretching a bit...to put it more accurately, this new costume is just disappointingly ordinary to me. I far prefer Stephanie Brown's Batgirl outfit: Spoiler
I'd actually prefer Studio Mir, the South Korean studio that animated The Boondocks and The Legend of Korra.
Just looked it up. YO DAS NICE
I can't speak at all for the writing because I don't read the comics. BUT I don't like the costume in comparison to the former costumes I've seen for Batgirl. I don't know what it is with artists these days thinking that they need to give female characters such standard outfits. It's stupid for someone like Wonder Woman to look like a biker; she's an Amazonian warrior, why would she care about her battle outfit fitting in with human social norms? Her classic outfit fit her perfectly in character. This new Batgirl outfit...well, I'm glad the bat symbol and ears are there, because if this sketch was black and white (and didn't have the "Batgirl" name on it), I'd have no clue who this is.
