Don't care how many times it's been said; no Star Wars and Kingdom Hearts please. The Force Unleashed 1 was pretty bland, glad I got rid of it. I've heard even worse about The Force Unleashed 2.
Didn't put that much thought into the post :|
Well, you don't have to worry much about them being faithful -- Guillermo del Toro is one of the authors of the original novel lol.
The series, directed by Guillermo del Toro (whom I'm a huge fan of), premiered on Sunday night. I personally thought the premiere was great. Ephraim is an instantly likable character, the plot is intriguing using a suspenseful sci-fi/horror take on a conventional monster story, the creatures are a bit different from traditional vampires in an interesting way, the pacing is just right, and the over all production is excellent.
Year One was freaking great. Not only did they avoid using the standard villains (Joker, Two-Face, etc.,) they did Gordon tons of justice (not a Batman joke.) One thing I didn't like though was Selena's look. Not a fan of the super short hair and her mask (even if it's the old school look.) The Dark Knight Returns, I actually read in high school. It's a pretty damn good comic, seeing Batman deal with his old age and the way the villains, especially the Joker, go about their plots. BUT, as you pointed out, I didn't quite like Superman being involved. It's obvious that Frank Miller isn't a fan of the guy, leading to so many misinformed fanboys who keep citing the comic as "when Batman beat Superman." You'd have to be blind to believe that's what happened.
Rise of the Guardians is pretty much a condensed version of The Avengers with the Easter Bunny instead of The Hulk.
Uhhhhh, what Amaury said.
Atlas, Nova, or Vivi. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-
Wii U's got the best known library, and that includes all the stuff that was shown at this year's E3.
You got most of why I love this Joker above all over versions, and I really do love The Dark Knight's Joker. It's just...he feels like a different character. THIS, Mark Hamill's performance, the bleached white skin and red lipstick and purple suit, the constant actual joking, and the effortless intimidation. This is my favorite Joker.
Definitely...though it's kinda off-topic?

Watched episodes Four and Five today. I'm liking how this Book is going so far still. All of the new characters they've been introducing have been interesting to me. Well, at first Kai was annoying, being that bratty kid who is just there for hijinx, but the plot they make him go through made him a lot more interesting. Maybe they could have made it longer? Feel like that could have been done more effectively. Opal's adorable too. And the fight scenes...hnnnnnnnnng. EDIT: So, Nickolodeon are taking Legend of Korra off of its TV spot, and moving it to a mainly digital medium, for an indefinite period of time. Sad to see this happen, but I don't find it all that surprising given how Book 2 botched so many things.
I love remixes. They're ready for you.
I'd love to have both a physical copy and a digital license. That way, I could pretty much always play the game...unless it absolutely needs internet ._.
I can breed some Bulbasaurs real quick for you.
...
This shit has happened too many times for me to count. I remember buying Dead or Alive 5 for like $40. Maybe a month later, it's $20. Then another month, $10.
Alright, I'll try it sometime later today. Gonna go bowling tonight. PREPARE FOR THE STRIKE FORCE.
