To me, Appeal to Reason is like a safer, less experimental version of The Sufferer and The Witness. Still enjoy it, but none of the songs really feel that different from what they've done before. Favorites on it include Collapse (Post-Amerika), From Heads Unworthy, Hero of War, Savior, and Whereabouts Unknown. Also, I still need to pick up The Black Market...
So, got the laptop. It's damn sexy, and performing nicely.
So...barring civil rights movements, political struggles, y'know, that kind of serious stuff I'm sure everyone agrees is important enough to warrant boycotts when need be....what, on our consumer level, pertaining to, say, entertainment, would you guys find fitting to boycott?
But...it's less fun that way ;.;
Yup. I mean, Nick are still idiots for all the scheduling shifts and lack of promotion they did, but some of the audience are being even worse :\ They'll at least have my number...
Which is why I'm confused that some people are choosing not to watch it there. I get Fearless' explanation on why she won't, and Boy Wonder's too smart to not be sarcastic with that post.
Why? You say it's immature but don't explain further.
I'll let you know later today or tomorrow mang. Want to make sure I can commit.
...what is this even supposed to imply?
Nick and Cartoon Network...what the fuck is with these networks.
...why?
It's the reason why I said what I did; much as I'm glad any Digimon game is being localized, it's not the one everyone's been petitioning for. I don't want Rumble Arena nearly as much as I want another Digimon World or the new Digimon Story game.
Now if only we got some of the fucking RPG games localized.
Attack on this
I'm really impressed just how dark Prime gets as well. Like, holy crap the episode with Airachnid was basically a horror movie. AWESOME. I forgave Heroes because they only mentioned the myth like, what, once? While I did like what Lucy's main theme was (knowledge of any kind is good, it just depends on how you use it,) it felt like the film didn't want to commit to being either an action movie or an intellectual film, until like the very last few scenes. That may be fine for some people, but it didn't mesh for me.
Ugh Fearless let me make my post before you doooooooo We have attention spans, those who care.
Went with dad and brother to see Lucy. Boy was I right in predicting I'd be disappointed. It felt like a basic action thriller that tried to sound smart, but every time something scientific or philosophical or whatever was spoken or put on screen, I wanted to facepalm. Not to mention, it felt like the movie was spoon feeding tons of information that was obvious to me, using weird intercuts of footage of, say, animals or foreign countries or history or nature or what have you. Though I do now really want a gritty Mewtwo movie...or just a remake of Mewtwo Strikes Back.
The Debonair skins are honestly really disappointing to me. I was never a fan of Jayce's, and they just aren't that interesting conceptually. Gnar looks pretty cool, but I'll not be buying him for a while. Got enough Top laners. Arcade Miss Fortune looks awesome. Might try picking her up for it. Riot Kayle, I have mixed feelings about. Awesome helicopter wings, lame weapon and helmet.
