I think Spider-Man films are where I realize just how different my opinion on film can be from others. New Goblin's laugh sucked. FINE I'LL JUST BE MY OWN AVENGERS ._.
Suffice to say man...this shit is future proof for probably the next DECADE. Nice. I can only hope to have a quarter as decent a rig when I build my own first PC.
That's a valid thought, and one that I share, but you don't discourage suicide by calling people who've commit it cowards or whatever; that honestly solves nothing and creates more issues. I think (not know, think) that the best solution is to continue trying to provide better and better support for people with these suicidal thoughts. If we don't do that, if we just say "well, he/she shouldn't killed himself/herself," what are we really doing to prevent it from happening more and more? Like, think about this: how many people do you know who, at one point or more, have considered suicide? Being called a coward probably isn't what helped them (though I guess that depends on the individual,) but most people I think would agree that support rather than animosity is what got them away from those thoughts.
That's not hard at all for me to grasp. I may be related to my many cousins and uncles and aunts by blood, but for the most part, I barely know them, and even more important to consider than that, they've had little impact on my life. Robin Williams may never have known that I even existed (most probably didn't), but through his performances as an actor and generally respectable human being, he impacted me starting from a very young age. We were never in the same room or even building at the same time, yet he has made me smile and laugh and think deeply more than most of the friends I have on Facebook have done for me. Now he's gone, and to say that people should not mourn him (not saying that you're saying this) is to say that people have no right to feel sorrow for people if they were not directly friends or family, and I disagree wholeheartedly with that notion.
And I sometimes enjoy Flamin' Hot Cheetos with ice cream. Welcome to life.
You should see the one he posted for me.
What's a good GIF viewer thing for WIndows 8.1?
You'll be the first person I hear (err, read) say that. It felt so wimpy, especially compared to DaFoe's maniacal cackle.
I'm at least glad you also disliked his Goblin. Ugh the laugh, but anyway. I don't fault DeHaan so much; I just disliked Harry in that world in general I think (as well as...well, that film's world.)
Eh, I liked James Franco as Harry a lot more. I get that DeHaan Harry has a fucked up life, but nothing he did, for me, felt like what person would do? I ESPECIALLY found it really dumb when he went after Gwen. I dunno, agree to disagree I guess :P
Clearly its her ult that has to channel
True dat, different strokes. I really like DeHaan, but NOTHING he did in ASM2 felt anywhere near real to me. He just felt like an unlikable prick who wanted something and got pissy when he couldn't get it. I didn't sympathize. (blame grammar classes)
Color me shocked (it's the blue crayon.) The only likable performances for me were Emma Stone as Gwen, and Spidey trying to help out Max when he first becomes Electro. Personal preference of course.
I TRY NOT TO BUT UGH HE GETS IT But I still like Nomura's Batman, by separating it from Batman :> I guess I'm totes fine with overdesigned stuff sometimes.
I think I already said this but her death scene was done terribly. The battle against Goblin was cool and I had feel for her AFTER the death but holy hell the over-editing, overdramatization, effects, music, etc. made it feel so artificial.
The only thing I want to watch again is Electro's introduction. Over and over. It's seriously one of the best Spidey moments on film, alongside the final battle in Spidey 1 against Green Goblin (Peter's retort to Norman about the father thing OOOH), the end-film web swings, any scene Doc Ock is in, and Sandman's birth.
NOT AGAIN GUYS I MADE A THREAD AND IT'S JUST OPINIONS :\ Oh yeah mine is that the Amazing films are just eh. First sucks, second has some great moments mixed with shite ones. I'll take the first two Raimi films anyday. Spider-Man 2 wins.
Also anyone saying "WELL PEOPLE ARE FINE WITH BAYO 2 ON WII U" should probably be quiet because that's cause Bayonetta II is only happening because of Nintendo.
Who's Baron then? Underwear Douglas?
Can we just agree that Square-Enix just needs to act normal again? Final Fantasy Fabula Nova Crystalis or whatever just ended up being Final Fantasy XIII and two sequels, while Agito turned into Type-0 and is only now coming outside of Japan years later, and XIII Versus became XV and switched to PS4 and Xbone. Tomb Raider apparently didn't sell well enough across 3 different platforms (and later 5) for them so they make the sequel exclusive to one and expect better success BUT WAIT IT'S NOT REALLY EXCLUSIVE cause dudes don't know how to word things. It took nearly 10 years for actual Kingdom Hearts III news and all we got was a teaser and announced platforms. Just be normal Square pls. You guys can still make great games.
