Is it that hard to think it up personally?

    • He has a very generic male anime protagonist look: fair skin, not fat or exceptionally skinny, not exceptionally short or tall, short dark hair, dark eyes, no distinguishing marks or disfigurations.
    • He has no unique quirks or combination of quirks (which are peculiar behavioral traits that help make characters unique from each other in personalities.)
    • He never seems to make a mistake that he learns from (the party he was with that died...what exactly did that teach him?)
    • He has NO chemistry with Asuna, yet they get married in a video game and have a surrogate daughter in Yui (personally, this really was inappropriate for the story.)
    • He easily gains the affection of multiple female characters in (what I found to be) unrealistic ways, yet he's supposed to be an average gamer.
    • In Season 2, rather than learn to use a new weapon, he instead sticks to a sword, showing stagnation rather than trying something new.
    • Why of COURSE he drives a motorcycle; it's the go-to "badass vehicle."
There's more, but those are the main things that make me hate Kirito.

Dude, I live in Arizona, so that's not even a challenge; I WANT people to dump ice water on me if I have to be outside.

I think what most people dislike is specifically smooth jazz. At least for me, that stuff puts my ass to sleep. The more energetic stuff, I quite enjoy.

God I love the music for this series. Even the bad games had great music.

Hell yeah you should watch Gurren Lagann with WHOMEVER.

I was thinking back about that movie, and the only thing I remember liking was Electro's introduction (second best Spidey scene ever) and Spidey's jokes... /shrug

Although I'm fairly certain the stories in P.T. will not be connected to the main story of Silent Hills, I believe that the character we play as in P.T. is NOT any of the people mentioned by the radio; not either murderer. The fetus really gives us the most information about who our playable character is (a married man, apparently.) Rather than being one a murderer, I believe that, if anything, the character we play as was called upon by the spirit of the slain mother (whom many are naming Lisa due to the writings above the basement door) to be a witness to her (and the other slain family's) story, and she doesn't want us to leave until we've figured out her story. Perhaps, if anything, it's a warning?

It's not a perfect reasoning, though (not sure why she'd attack us if she just wants a witness,) but I don't think our character is guilty of anything that is covered by the events of P.T.

(also, in Silent Hill 2, James was able to see Angela's own nightmare world twice: once in the room where we fight the Abstract Daddy creature, and again when we watch Laura transpire the burning staircase.)

Isn't it a rule that the dead can no longer participate? Don't mean to sound harsh or anything; just want a confirmation.

Yeah, I realize that, but I guess for me the logic part is harder to pick out. Makes it a bit different :>

I'm about to try this myself, but....holy crap, if this is really how it's done the easiest, that's really innovative riddle-making. I mean, I hope it's not THIS cryptic in the actual Silent Hills game, but it's cool that P.T. made people think this much.

EDIT: IT WORKED. I FINALLY GOT TO SEE NORMAN'S MUG

Man, I'm not used to playing this stuff without being there in-person with the players...much easier for me to see visual/audio tells :x

It's honestly kind of impressive how terribly this has gone. IT'S ALMOST LIKE PEOPLE TRYING TO SELL A PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE CENSORING POTENTIAL CONSUMERS.

The thing that I think is more important than the reviews themselves, is the attention. No matter what, it's too late to eliminate the attention that Zoe Quinn has accumulated, and no matter how terrible her games (and any future projects) are, more people will still look into it than had these cases of mass censorship and allegations of nepotism not occurred. I mean, yeah, some products will always garner more interest than others, but this one is happening because of one person just being generally a disgusting human rather than actually making a well-done product.

For one, the compromise of journalistic integrity. Just imagine that the project you worked on for years and had tested and garnered positive responses from the gaming community gets overshadowed by the equivalent of a poorly done Flash text game. That's happening.

For two, look at this reddit thread. Notice, also, these rules and the comments. Never before have I seen such mass censorship that wasn't done by the government. Discussion should not be shot down about this topic, except to actually remove actual threats to personal safety, not EVERY COMMENT (whicth is being worked on now by less questionable moderators.)

For four, she's (allegedly) abusing the DMCA to take down videos on YouTube that criticize her game, claiming them for using any pictures (one video was taken down just for including the STEAM MARKETPLACE PICTURE.)

For five, this shit should NEVER be accepted. I don't care how many times it happens; we shouldn't just lie down and take this abuse of power and influence.

There are more that I missed, but these are the main things that piss me off about this, especially because I actually want to be a professional game journalist eventually. To see the people currently in the business taking sexual favors instead of doing their jobs right? That's both enraging and encouraging me to try even harder.

There's just so much anger I have with this. Shutting down a game jam. Accusing an image board of bullying her. Mass censorship. Pretending to want equality yet using her own body to get favorable press. I don't even care if she's a ****, but the idea that these "professional game journalists" are letting their dicks overtake their integrity....ugh.

I mean, the premise is a bit more interesting, but I honestly don't expect much in terms of actual design beyond the standard "shoot guys, get behind cover to heal, reflex-based multiplayer, no need to strategize" gameplay. Still want to try it, at the least, which is the first time I'm saying that about the Call of Duty series since the first Black Ops (which was a sore disappointment, just like every game to follow.)

So...anyone else hear about the new uproar in the game industry about Zoe Quinn? I heard about it this morning but only got to check up again just now.
