Man I was on a roll forgetting things yesterday ._.
Oh shit I forgot. Also, guys
Oh, I also like Scrafty, but kinda forgot about him being so easy to destroy, especially in Generation VI. I get the Dragon thing, but I'm glad they got such a great counter in Fairy-types being introduced. I think my other favorite types would be Steel and Ground. Oh, ok o.o Also, just imagine if there was a Dragon/Fairy...
Chandelure is one of my favorite Pokemon introduced in Black/White, alongside Serperior, Hydreigon, Braviary, Eelektross, Volcarona, and Bisharp. Dragon is definitely my favorite type; went out of my way to try making a balanced all-Dragon team, but it needs a stronger Kingdra, and non-legendary Fire/Dragon and Steel/Dragon -types methinks. If you think she won't really play it much, that'd be cool ._.
I would love a Mega Chandelure, seeing as its got great Special Attack, typing, and moves, but not enough bulk or speed to utilize any of it. Probably should make it bulkier, and give it some new ability. Shadow Tag would be too good. Mega Luxray should also be a thing. I love the design of a lightning lion, and he's pretty decent in his own tier, but gets utterly outclassed by other Electric-types. Give it a well deserved Speed buff, and even more bite with its Attack. I'm surprised it isn't already Dark/Electric, but that'd be cool. Ability-wise, I'd say give him Strong Jaw. Also, Mega Kingdra. I really like having a Water/Dragon-type, but its stats aren't making it shine in anything. I'd say make it a super bulky regal evolution that tanks hits. Maybe it could have Drizzle? I like both, though I prefer Y for the design being more focused around flight. And I'm the dragon dude, so it's a bit hard to choose. Still need a Charizardite X ._. I see you $25 visual update. Mainly because I have it too ._.
Eh, I'll get on it eventually. My girlfriend's been nagging me to as well.
A Harvest + Sunlight combo would be pretty actually, hadn't thought about it. And the reason I made him so fragile is so that he still does have reasonable counter-game, though perhaps I could take some points from his offense and give them to the defenses and HP? I also thought about giving Mega Cacturne the ability Shadow Tag :>
Ironically I've not watched the TV series since season 3 ended. Whoops.
Thing is, for Cacturne, his offensive stats are already good enough. What he needs is something to be relevant with them. More detailed, here's what I think would work for Stat spreads (since Mega's always give a BST addition of 100): Spoiler Base: Ability: Sand Veil or Water Absorb HP: 70 Attack: 115 Defense: 60 Special Attack: 115 Special Defense: 60 Speed: 60 Mega-Speed: Ability: Moxie HP: 70 Attack: 135 Defense: 60 Special Attack: 135 Special Defense: 60 Speed: 120 Mega-Tank: Ability: Arena Trap or Heatproof HP: 95 Attack: 115 Defense: 100 Special Attack: 115 Special Defense: 100 Speed: 50 What'cha think? Not so sure about the abilities.
Focus Sash + Destiny Bond sets usually are telling signs of a Pokemon lacking either bulk or speed for survival or sweeping. I think if he does get a Mega, they should give him either an uber fast form (at least 110 Speed) or a tank form (100 Defense + 100 Special Defense.)
Well, I've seen weirder threads...
Oh how I keep forgetting to give my input on things. Anyway, Book Three of Legend of Korra is the best the series has been in terms of being consistently good. Like, there's no episode or subplot that I wish they didn't include this time, as opposed to the love triangle and (dragged on) Pro Bending in Book One, or the awkwardly placed detective story and horrible final battle in Book Two. Though Zaheer isn't as colorful a villain as Amon or...whatever the name is of the Book Two villain, he at least didn't seem as "Saturday morning cartoon villain" as the other two. I liked how calm Zaheer stayed throughout the story, and the Red Lotus were pretty cool (though I think they could have used some more fleshing out for Zaheer's band.) Bolin is getting treated better and better as a character, Mako is being written less like a ****** and more like a thinking human, Korra's being smart, and Asami is being really useful. And that ending....man, that was actually a good cliffhanger. ALSO KORRA X ASAMI 5EVER.
I really hope that Cacturne gets either a new evolution or a Mega Evolution. It's a cool design that's wasted with lack of bulk or speed or decent nature.
It sure is great when you want to get on the ol' Leggolegenz with your pals and play a game BUT THE SERVERS BE LIKE NAH BITCH YOU ONLY GET TO PLAY HALF THIS GAME AND YOU FREEZE WHEN YOU'RE TRYING TO ULT.
Along with what you said, I think what helped generate so much interest in P.T. (and as a result, Silent Hills) is the fact that you really don't get much concrete information at all from the experience; only more questions, and anything that generates questions helps to get people interested.
Well that was a damn doozy to try reading. Anyway This I can agree with. Womanizers are getting tiring, and I really dislike the treatment of the pink girl as nothing but an offensive joke. Rocket's a dick and barely knew her. Not that hard to understand. I don't remember when this is, but is it even really that major? (though I do get that Drax of all people shouldn't use that term with her.) I can't even find this one valid; it's a film, not a video supplement to a comic book, even if that's how the comic fans want to view it as. Judge the film as its own entity. Kinda repeating the first statement. Again, judge the film on its own. ....naked shots of Gamora? Where were these? I never saw any. Well, yeah, it's a film. Hard to base a film around multiple characters equally; hell, even Avengers has this issue; its mostly Iron Man's. How was it done poorly? Is this another "the comics did it differently" thing? I thought it was alright. In all, I really think people are trying to stretch whatever holes they can find in this film, at least with these issues. I'm all for feminism, but this is straight up nitpicking. Oh, I didn't intend to mean that you said it; it was just the general notion I was perceiving. And I still do disagree that the film rides on nostalgia; who's to say people who aren't familiar with films like Star Wars won't like Peter? Who's to say space operas only belong to an earlier time period? Don't judge it on how new and original it is; that'll make you hate a majority of film. Just judge it on how well it delivers on its premise.
Well, that's an interesting tumblr name o.o
OH SHIT I FORGOT TO GIVE MY FIVE CENTS Guardians of the Galaxy is my favorite film of this year so far, though I find Captain America: The Winter Soldier to be more well put together. I absolutely love the characters, especially Chris Pratt as Peter Quinn. And honestly? I actually was emotionally invested in the team. Every member felt strong. It felt like watching my favorite parts of Mass Effect 2's "get a band together" put on film, with a great soundtrack (that I understand was to cash in on nostalgia but to me actually fit the film well) and awesome cinematography. Perhaps my one beef with the film was how uninteresting the main villain was. I think we needed more scenes of him, showing different facets of his character and personality (I mean, if there is much more to him.) I kinda think you're exaggerating on this. Yeah, there's the pink girl Peter's with near the start of the film who's not really doing anything substantial, but...what other bad examples are there? The Nova Corps (or whatever association) lady was perfectly fine, I loved Gamorra's story, and Nebula was fine. I don't think it's fair to call this film a nostalgia cash-in. It's great on its own merits, and the only reason I would bring up Star Wars is to give the film SOME comparison for people who want to know what it kind of feels like, but even that's not too accurate. It really is, to me, its own film, and I loved it.
