I feel like I'd give Bleach a chance again if someone condensed it into like, 25 or so episodes. I can't stand long ass anime.
Book Two of Korra is both better and worse than Book One. What the hell do I mean? "Beginnings" and Avatar Wan were (at that point of the serie) the closest we had gotten to a consistently high quality story since Avatar: The Last Airbender. The beginning of the Book felt pretty strong (for about the first three episodes.) Bolin started to get treated as an actual character rather than a recurring joke. At the same time, part of the reason Wan was so vastly interesting and was a breath of fresh air was due to the consistently disappointing characterization of most of the cast in the Book at that point (looking at Korra, Asami, Lin, Mako, and Unalaq [whom I constantly forget the name of]) It felt like the writers had no clue what kind of story to tell half the time, giving the overall Book various jarring transitions: time to be spiritual with the beginning as Korra learns to deal with Spirits NO WAIT let's be funny and stick Bolin in a parody of film actors NO WAIT here's Mako being a detective and Lin for no raisin being a gigantic bitch NO WAIT Avatar Wan and Beginnings are epic yet personal NO WAIT let's finish with a stupidly out of place deus ex machina and giant monster fight. Book One had a ton of flaws too, that I'm sure was why so many people dropped the series. Love triangles with bland and uninteresting writing, Pro Bending taking up more space than stories that need to be told (STILL don't have an actual explanation for Amon's blocking of Bending BTW,) Mako and Korra acting like idiots half the time BECAUSE EMOTIONS, Bolin doing...nothing, and exposition dump for villain backstory. It was an absolute slog in the middle until the writers were like "OH SHIT LET'S GET BACK TO STORIES WORTH TELLING." Book Three wasn't amazing, but it's at least been the most consistently good, especially looking back at the messes of Book One and Book Two. The new Book never made me wonder "So when is this gonna get good again?"

The Elite Four is ok, especially Nonon. The last three are why I will not watch the dub willingly. They're my three favorite characters and I think they attribute a lot of the most important dialogue. Unfortunately, the chosen voice actors and each of their' performances are too weak in my opinion to do the job well.
PLEASE watch it with subs. English Senkesu (the living school uniform and my favorite character) is just terrible and doesn't fit the kind of character he's supposed to be. English Satsuki is an unconvincing hardass. English Ryuuko is an unimpressive speaker for the more badass lines. ALSO THIS MIX IS FRICKIN DOPE

I myself haven't voted yet, but this is mostly due to the notifications for this thread not working properly for many of the final days (see, the last two lynch votes.)

Been trying to catch up with the recent (lengthy) posts. I can see Calxiyn as a bit suspicious for another reason: because of her insistence that I am passive. Many people are, but perhaps with that wording, she's trying to get me to help kill off Town members rather than looking for the members who aren't being brought up as much (and could thus be the real members to be watching.) I guess I am, because I'm trying to parse damning information from these posts. She also brought up Cstar, who did say that she's been trying to catch up due to notification issues (similar to my own issues and why I missed two nights of voting.) Looking at Cstar's posts, nothing so far has painted her as suspicious. However, what about TwilightBlader? His last post was on Thursday, September 4: The underlined bit seems to imply that he's trying to get people to show support for potential Town members (since he know at least now that The Fuk? was Town.) It's feels like an attempt to thus pant himself as Town...or maybe I'm just going crazy trying to add something to the conversation... Also, I want to make it clear that I am slower at this game when it's in this text-based form (first time I've played like this, especially in such a prolonged manner rather than a few hours,) so I don't expect to be able to rapidly make substantial posts.
