I'm so sorry guys, but this is the last chapter ): and i'm sorry it's not a long on either i might post sneak peaks though, =D Chapter 4 The first week of the detention center was a little hectic. I would never look at Madison the same again. I could never see her as the little girl who looked so nice and so calm. I had a scar on my face after Jeana took out my stitches. It wasn’t pretty, and it annoyed me when other girls looked at me, staring at my scar. I could only scowl at whoever looked. “Ladies! May I have your attention?” Jeana called out. I looked up from the book I was reading in the television room. It was the bog open space at the end of the hallway. A lovely woman was standing next to Jeana. She had long curly hair, blue eyes with brown eye shadow, lower black eyeliner, and upper mascara. Her skin wasn’t so pale as everyone else’s, and she wore a ravishing in style business suit. She had a skinny set jaw and small glossy lips. Her white teeth shined through them. “Jessica? Mind if I talked with you?” her heartfelt question flowed. It felt like a siren singing. “Of course,” I breathed, putting the book on the table in front of me. I stood off the gray couch and walked around the table, following the woman down the hall. I could hear Jeana behind me call out to the girls behind me. “Okay guys! Off to the gym!” The woman I followed walked all the way down the hallway, walking into a room with the initial’s A.J on the door. She held it open and I walked in, sitting in one of the seats in the office room. She walked in front of me, sitting on her desk. She reminded me of Mrs. Reynolds. Same curly hair, clothes, and sweet voice. “Jessica, my name is Alexis Johnson… I am the warden here at the Pima county Juvenile Detention Center. How has your first week been?’ she asked, putting her hands on one another. I could finally raise the corners of my lips, seeing she didn’t stare at my scar along my cheek bones. “It’s okay… A little better than I expected,” I answered her question easily and truthfully. She seemed to smile slightly. “To be honest, I used to be in a Juvenile once, for getting in fights… After I got out, I started working better in school and then I decided to open up my own detention center. The one I went to was horrible. It was the same routine over and over again. I promised to make a detention center to let the students roam around and meet others, who are also troubled. If they are beyond my control though, I must send them back to court and I can no longer help them,” she stated. I didn’t really pay much attention to her, but id figure she’d get my attention sooner or later. I didn’t really want to look at her. She still reminded me too much of Mrs. Reynolds. I could see her arms cross and a small smile upon her face. “Ya know, I read your file,” she said, standing up from the edge of her desk, walking around it, and pulling up a yellow file, opening it. “You lived with your mother, and you weren’t allowed to confront your father… I bet that made you pretty mad eh?” she asked, looking up. Now she was getting personal. It ticked me a little bit. “I bet mommy wasn’t really a big supporter, seeing as how your father just shipped off a check for a thousand dollars to her… Tell me Jessica, did she ever touch you? We’ve got plenty of medical records in which the doctors suspected that your mother hit you…” she said, flipping a page in the file and sitting down. “I asked my father to help her out. I get hurt at work sometimes. Babysitting can do that,” I defended. I watched her closely. “Ya know Jessica… You don’t have to go back to her after this is all over,” she said. “Yeah I know,” I answered. “After this, I’m going to go live life on the streets, like most adults expect me to.” I could see her frown at my smart aleck remark. It was a personal question that didn’t need answered. “Jessica, please reason,” she said, looking more through the file. She pulled out on piece of paper. “What about this Brittney girl… Are you going to go seek revenge? Hurt or kill her?” she asked. I was ticked more than possible now. I stood up and knocked over the chair. “I’m finished talking to you,” I said, then walked towards the door, and out of it. I decided not to head to gym. I didn’t really like sports. It wasn’t very interesting, and it felt like too much work. I instead walked back to my room, the scar on my face throbbing. It formed a headache and I shook my head. I cracked open my door, and immediately I felt a chill from my room. I pushed my door open, hearing it creak as if icy. I saw someone sitting on the floor beside my bed. Her head was down, covered in her knee’s. Her hair looked bluish black, like almost frozen over perfect black hair. Her arms were pale and she wore a white gown, similar yet different from Madison’s. “Hello?” I asked, shutting my door. I walked forward. She didn’t look familiar. I haven’t even seen this girl anywhere here in the last week. Maybe she was a newcomer or something scared to death. I saw in her hand the necklace I found outside of my window. I lost it whenever Madison attacked me that day. I put my hand on her shoulder, patting her shoulder softly. I heard her stifle a cry. “Are you okay?” I asked. Her head lifted up. Her eyes were blank, pure white, and her face was bluish and cracked. I gasped, jumping back hitting the wall, horrified by her. I felt like I was now in a scary movie, and that I was the dumb blonde who always get’s caught and killed. “He can’t see me again,” her eerie and echoed voice fluttered. She stood up, her bones dislodging everywhere in her body. I could hear the bones crunching and snapping. I shook my head and ran towards the door, only to scream as she tripped me, and forcibly started to drag me into Madison’s pitch black room. I tried to hold onto the ground, but my nails scraped against the hardwood floor, as the force jerked me loose from the ground, and I was gone into the darkness. The last thing I saw, was something purple under my bed, sticking out of the crack against the wall, and then… I felt pain.
