FINISH SENTENCES FOR YOUR THREAD TITLES
That's how uninteresting Cross Boring Zone is.
Terra, easily. He killed his own father-figure in a fit of confusion and anger, he lost his body to Xehanort, and he's been stuck in the Keyblade Graveyard for more 10 years, unable to do anything but stay there.
Hell yeah it is. 9.0 difficulty Classic Mode is a great practice, but also shows how unbalanced certain stages, items, and assists are.
I'm used to playing on a Gamecube controller, where Throw was put on the Z button, which is on the right side of the controller. Everything else I kept the same. It'll take some getting used to with the circle pad for movement.
Switching Throw to the R button and Guard to the L button helped me tremendously.
Yee. And screw Ness' arena.
I think one more and I'll have to do other stuff >.>
We should turn off items :<
Ok, so items and assist trophies in this game are BUSTED.
Spoiler It's post-traumatic stress. My guess is that it's actually a dark spirit that feeds off Korra's negative self-image, and uses the image of her Avatar form during the battle with Zaheer to further stress Korra out
Damn dirty bat.
Huh...I'll make another lobby and wait.
What happened o.o
Spoiler: After All These Years Man that prince guy is an idiot, I love it. Opal's so cute, but dat conflict between her and Bolin hurts to see ;.; I like how Kuvira actually does sound rational, at least to me. She's a person who really could exist in our world, and that helps her character feel natural. KORRA FIGHT CLUB YO Spoiler: Korra Alone I'm loving the Fight Club vibe here, and this episode for some reason really got me to remember how good the voice acting in this series is. It's really neat how they're tackling PTSD as well, and in a way that does feel right, rather than forced. She left Naga too :< YEAH AANG STILL DID THE THING Awww, Korra pulled a Zuko: cutting the hair and going solo I really like the journey for Korra to find Raava again. Soul searching, literally. Aha I called that the dog was a spirit Toph = Yoda time
Shoot I was watching Korra and forgot about this >.> I'm ready when you are to Smash.
A new Mega Bug-type? Yiss. Mega-Pidgeot's cool too. AND YIS GETTING THE OLDER LEGENDARIES
What's your Mii name :<
Actually, you customize your Specials. Smashes are your melee attacks, if that's what you're talking about >.> I'll be on soon, for a bit.
The enemy design is what made that game less fun for me. Too often you're dealing with enemies that can grab or stunlock you or are way too damn big that you can't even have fun trying different things out and are mostly tunneled into using the cheaper attacks or spells. The best bosses were the ones about the size of Sora and Riku, since you could actually strategize against them. Flowmotion was a great addition at first, but I ended up just using it to get around the maps faster since they felt like a lot of empty space. Days seriously felt like nothing but a chore for most of the game. "KIll x amount of enemies in bland map here." The combat's just ok, but outside of some good boss battles (specifically, near the end of the game,) the gameplay is forgettable. And the story only gets really good towards the finale. It really didn't feel like Kingdom Hearts for a majority of the game. Kingdom Hearts II easily has the best worlds in the series: lots of visual variety and attention to detail, even if their story connections were weak as hell. The enemy design too was pretty good (save certain bosses COUGHDEMYXCOUGH and enemies like the Assassin Nobodies,) but the combat and story telling were messy. I barely have to worry about dodging or timing my blocks or sticking to specific strategies for battles: just mash X and heal when needed. You feel overpowered far too often in the game, making the optional bosses hella jarring in comparison. And we've all had discussion on the storytelling, which leaves just far too many holes and weird plot lines (the name "Ansem" to this day is still confusing, even though I know the story behind it.) Kingdom Hearts 1 to me still feels like the best sum of its parts in the series: a fun and mostly simple story (at least in comparison with the rest of the series,) fun worlds that utilize both vertical and horizontal space (Deep Jungle could use work still,) combat that's fair in difficulty and skill requirement, great enemy design (I especially love the bosses in this game,) and BILLY ZANE. Birth By Sleep, although it has the best combat system and second best storytelling, is let down by the pretty bad world design. Re: Chain of Memories also suffers from having...well, no world design really. I love the story, but it only gets fleshed out between rooms until the later half. The combat's decent too. Samey enemy design though.
