    New Review

Full disclosure: I barely know how to actually use BlogSpot. I just like the format for posting stuff since it feels like Microsoft Word for the most part, which is what I'm most used to. Also, don't want to use something like Tumblr or Facebook.

I did try a form of organization though ._., discussing various segments of the game's design in an order that just felt natural to myself. And I dunno how to justify the score part. It's just a personal score really.

Eh, I figured that people can find that kind of information easily on the game's store page, since Steam does it really well for the most part, and I don't want to fill my review with what kind of information, if that makes sense?

Definitely, though going back to older generations of Pokemon always is a bit jarring (especially from Gen IV.)

Heart Gold has what I think is the best post-Pokemon League, since you get to explore two regions, for 16 total Gym Leaders, and you get to fight Red.

I feel iffy on this, though I'll probably get it for my girlfriend, since I have 1.5 already and she doesn't.

For real, the lack of a soundtrack is making this harder to consider. The plush looks alright to me though.

    so yeah

This argument is so poorly constructed that it can apply to every system ever, especially the underlined bits.

Try something more along the lines of "I'm not into as many of the 3DS's niches as I was expecting to be."

I'm well aware about being able to criticize things I like, hence why I did agree that the scene of Peter and that random pink chick was terrible. I'm all for critical analysis. That's not my point though. I know we've already discussed this in the actual thread for the film, but...I just don't see how the feminine treatment was that bad with Guardians of the Galaxy outside of two scenes should have been done better (pink chick scene, and Drax calling Gamora a whore.) The rest of the film doesn't really suffer that badly from misrepresentation of female characters. Maybe Gamorra or Nebula weren't great for you, and that's ok, but they're far from what I'd EVER call bad female characters.

Groot is a non-attractive male or female human character, who has only two unique lines of dialogue, yet can display a vast range of emotions through voice and animation. That's really great to see, because it's so different from practically every other Marvel or DC character put on film (I'm sure someone will pull up contradictions, but really, they're few.)

Rocket is a non-attractive male or female human character, yet many people call him their favorite character in the film because of his "I'm the boss even though I'm the smallest" attitude and dynamic personality (very different from first scene to the finale.) Plus I'm kind of a sucker for tragic existential stories like his.

Nebula is a villainous female humanoid character who was never sexualized in this film. Say what you enjoy about Black Widow, but it's obvious that part of her character is being eye candy, and that's perfectly fine, but I do like the fact that we got someone who wasn't and was still cool.

Well, I can't really change your mind on superheroes as a genre, so I won't bother, but do try to keep an open mind enough to try reading some of Batman's better short series. As discussed in this thread, The Dark Knight Returns is great, even if I'm not really a fan of what many Batman fanboys think occurred in the final battle.

Like, the mechanics are there and the controls are all good, but there's basically no in-game social interaction. A lot of stuff forces player to utilize outside materials, the worst example being that the actual substantial story is cut up into cards that are read on the internet rather than being written into the game itself. I don't know if the loot system's been fixed, but when I played, you got basically what the game felt like at the time, not what you actually deserved. It's an embarrassment that this game in this current state came from the guys who made Halo.

Also, I'm sorry about your laptop Misty :<

Still is one of my favorite Disney movies, alongside Hamle-I mean The Lion King and Lilo and Stitch.

Not counting Pixar stuff right now.

    so yeah

Though I do think most people who use the term "PC Master Race" are joking...they do bring up very valid points.

Just look at the differences between the three latest generations in consoles. PS2 to PS3 and Xbox to Xbox 360 saw plenty of improvements in many fields like graphics and performance and online capabilities and digital stores, but PS3 to PS4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One...what are the differences really, besides slightly better graphics (far less noticeable now than ever) and a few more online functions? Not to mention the libraries for those two have been growing at a practically glacial pace, only starting to get worthwhile titles towards the end of this year when they've been available to consumers for about a year already.

Of course, PC's have issues too, and I'm sure we've all experienced some of them: trying to play older games on newer operating systems, bad ports (though that's not exclusive to PC's at all and often happens to consoles too,) the early access bullshit and swarm of terrible products on Steam, some games lacking controller support that would clearly benefit the gameplay, Origin's sparse information about games (seriously, had to Google whether Dragon Age II had controller support,) uPlay, etc.

Also, I don't really think moving a PC is that much more difficult than moving a console, unless you for some reason have a colossus of a case or something. Hell, some cases have handles for this exact reason.

So yeah, just my opinion. While I want to say that games totally dominate what makes a system good, there also should be more to upgrading a system than offering slightly better graphics.

Book Three did something even more impressive

    it didn't suck

But honestly, Books One and Two were hit-or-miss and I was glad that Book Three and so far Four have been consistently good.
