You'll quickly learn what everything means. I found it more fun to learn what was what by myself than use a translation guide. I even had a wee book with my translations in it. xD
There's no reason to use a credit card if you don't have to. I use it because I shop a lot online and I tend to buy fairly large purchases. For everyday stuff you should just use your debit card.
I didn't cry. Then again, you see adverts like these on tv all the time from different organisations asking for money that you get fed up with them. I would take one of those kittens home though if I could.
I only use paypal for ebay purchases, sending money to folk or if I'm buying something cheap from a wee online shop. I use my credit card for stores like amazon, play or any store I buy from regularly and I trust with my details.
That would be silly, aye. But if you ever intend to shop online you're better with a credit card and paying it off as soon as. At least with a credit card you have protection. Perhaps its different in the US, but in the UK you don't have protection for your debit card if your card details are stolen.
