I....don't know anyone who does that without actually seeing at least a trailer that shows some acting in it. I'm kind of glad I don't either.
In response, all I can say is that I'll reserve judgement for when I see the movie. I've seen actors whom I thought would do bad jobs actually pull off great performances, and I've seen actors whom I had always trusted to do well instead disappoint the shit out of me. Like I said about the Joker, I'm able to easily enjoy different versions of him. I'll always have The Animated Series and Arkham Asylum/City Joker.
Why is it "But"? That last part means that I'm not surprised to see Leto as Joker because I've seen at least four differing performances of the character, so I'm not sure why there's so much surprise.
No, I'm not. Jared Leto has proven that he can act well. I already had my perfect Joker: a cartoon voiced by Mark Hamill. I'm open to interpretations of him, hence why I like Heath Ledger's and Jack Nicholson's.

Please, shut the hell up with saying that the victim having been white would have made this any better. Police officers are trained to NOT be choking people.
