I've experienced this in the past but I love these headphones so I was determined to get them to work. Long story short, I had a massive lint farm in my headphones jack, so I fished it out with some sellotape and now they work a treat. Which is strange cause other headphones worked fine with my ipod but these and my other sony headphones didn't. Oh well, at least they work now. =D

I got these bad boys Spoiler I understand they're DJ style headphones but damn, the sound is awesome, and I heard they were great for the ipod, but the sound is distant on it. >: Might be the format though or it just hates ipod. Either way, if you're thinking of using it for gaming/PC and don't mind paying 50 quid then I'd highly recommend the MDR-V55. Its always the cat, isn't it? Maybe you sat on them, or unknowingly said something mean to your girlfriend (Cause that's what guys do) and unleashed the female wrath all men should know to fear. Earbuds hurt my ears so I wanted over-ear headphones instead that weren't ridiculously huge. I was willing to splash out a wee bit for the sound and stuff. Usually I would never pay over 30 quid for a pair of headphones.

The sound is oh so delicious when I play something on my computer. But when I play something on my ipod touch... Disappointment doesn't even begin to describe it. ;__;
