Not for me. Even my japanese teachers said I excelled in my kanji and reading knowledge more than anything.
Annaly looked over at Leon and smirked. "I knew we'd meet again." she hollered. She threw her bow aside in a safe place and got her sword out. She jumped up into the air and landed on the Skull's back, she then placed the hilt of her double-bladed sword under it's neck and started to pull back, hopefully to try and pull it off balance. ooc: *starts humming spiderman tune*
Japanese orals can be harsh, especially when you don't have a script and you have to think of it off the top of your head xD Hence the reason why...
Oo That sounds scary. Its worse when you speak Japanese I think, much more to muck up on. xD
Awww xD I had to do my English oral the other day. All I have to say is that I hate orals as assignments B|
Annaly jumped away to gain some distance, she got her bow out and strung an arrow in. Without hesitating she let the arrow fly through the air and embed itself in the Skull's left shoulder. It howled in anger and lunged forward at Annaly. She strung in another arrow and set it flying, this time the Skull smacked it away with it's over-muscled arm.
nm, just reading Full Moon wo Sagashite and role-playing xD
The Skull remained still, its eyes shining with the intent of killing Annaly but it made no move. Annaly took a small step forward, the Skull took a step back. Okay, now that was odd. A skull that was scared of her? "What on earth...?" At that moment the Skull lashed it's arm out at her, Annaly only just managed to doge it and its arm went smashing into a nearby lamp post.
Annaly walked out of her house and locked the door. She was now wearing her trench coat, which made her happy. As she started walking down the street again to begin her patrol she a Skull jumped down in front of her. This one too just stood there as if it were waiting for her to make the next move. What's with these guys lately...?
Annaly made her way along the now deserted streets of the city. The only sounds around was the howling of the wind. Annaly took a right turn into a smaller more narrow street and stopped in front of the door of a house right at the end of the street. It was her house. As she opened the door she heard a shrieking howl echo in the distance.
"Possibly." Annaly replied. She started to get irritated with the hoodie she was wearing, so she took it off. She wanted her trench coat so bad at that moment, she loved that coat. "I'm going to stop off at my house to get my trench coat then I'm going to patrol around the city. See you another time." Annaly waved goodbye to Leon and walked off in the opposite direction. I'm pretty sure we will run into each other later anyway.
"Yes, there are a few but not many. Last time I heard -or checked- there were only a couple including myself that had survived."
Annaly pursed her lips for a short moment, she hated going into this area sometimes, as it sometimes recovered her lost memories which were quiet painful sometimes. "Trust me, you don't want to know. It's dark and it is frightening. I should know, I've been one a few times already. I don't know how the hell I am still alive though."
Seeing that she could trust him enough, Annaly decided to let him in on something she knew. She thought about it for a moment and then decided it was a good time to. "Leon, do you know what it's like to be a Skull?" she murmured quietly, so only he could hear.
"I may be something along those lines." Annaly said with a smirk playing on her lips. She chuckled slightly at his thoughts. "Trust me, I am probably one of the Dream Catcher's most wanted if you know what I mean. I guess they don't like having Heroes with similar powers to them." Annaly looked up at the blackening sky, the stars started to adorn it like little diamonds sewn on a smooth piece of velvet.
Annaly smiled to herself. She knew that he was holding back a laugh and it only made her want to laugh. "There's no need to worry about me taking your hat off Leon. I know what your ability is. I think it's kind of nifty." Annaly paused for a moment and thought over what she just blurted out, she just sounded like she had been stalking Leon. She cringed inwardly at this realisation.
"Aren't most of like that when we use our abilities?" Annaly looked at Leon through the corner of her eye, it was almost glinting. "Hero." She stood up on her own and turned her body so that she was fully facing Leon, he was a good few feet taller than herself, it bothered her a bit but she didn't dare show it on her face, it would embarrass her to no end.
Annaly stopped for a moment, she leaned against the wall and closed her eyes and waited until her head didn't feel like it was spinning all over the place. It was rare that she used her powers and even more rare when she used them in front of other heroes. A lot of the other heroes she had met in the past had cool powers like super-strength and healing abilities as such. What did she have? An ability to move things with her mind, read thoughts and inhuman speed that she suspected she may have somehow gotten from being a skull once before.
Glancing back at the dead skull and then at the people that were on the scene, Annaly made her way back into the deeper part of the city. Now she was starting to feel lightheaded and she started to teeter around the place. Luckily, no one was watching so she kept walking. Not really caring anymore, she left her hoodie down and started walking back into the normal part of the city to get her trench coat.
Kairi was an alright character, I think Aqua is awesome though.
