Been there since The Dark Knight trilogy ended with a stinker and Green Lantern got his stinkbomb of a film. But DC still has the Arkham Trilogy (yes three games not four) and I freaking love them, and I really like Injustice. Music =/= Acting It's not that he's "not talented"; to me, he's just not the right guy for the role. I thought he was ok in Karate Kid (even though it was Kung Fu but whatever) But he sucked in After-Earth (along with, well, everyone else) and nothing else he's done is that significant to me. So...sorry if his history doesn't inspire confidence for me.
Bringing back this dead-ass thread because the game's out now. Patch 1.04 released today for PC. Spoiler: Patch 1.04 - Rebinding of all keys is now available after switching on the ‘Unlock Bindings’ option in the Options\Key Bindings submenu. - Corrects an issue in the dialogue system that might have caused dialogue looping in certain scenes. - Fixes an issue with incorrect behavior of Wild Hunt warriors after they were affected by the Axii Sign. - Corrects a bug that caused spontaneous combustion of gas clouds. - 1280 x 720 resolution is now properly displayed as a valid resolution option. - Fixes boat stuttering in cutscenes. - Texture rendering quality for the high and ultra presets has been improved. - Further improvements made in NVIDIA Hairworks performance. - A few additional gwent cards are now available in the Prologue area. - Fixes an issue where users with usernames incorporating non-Latin characters were unable to import saves from The Witcher 2. - Includes a series of overall stability and performance improvements. - Fixes issues related to alt + tabbing and minimizing the game window. - Updates the game icon. - Enlarges the loot pop-up window in the UI. - Fixes an issue where, in certain circumstances, the comparison window could extend beyond the game borders in the UI. - Upgrading items included in gear sets no longer destroys rune sockets on said items. - Introduces small tweaks in the UI for gwent. - Corrects some missing translations in localized versions. And more free DLC was announced for this week: an alternate outfit for Yennefer and a new contract quest called "Missing Miners." I'm really loving the game, especially due to all of the improvements to things I found issue with in Witcher 2: how annoying it was to open doors, climb ladders, or jump ever, the lack of faster travel than running on foot, food items to allow decent healing without always relying on meditation, MUCH better navigation during quests, and overall smoother and more balanced combat eliminating the somewhat limp feeling of Witcher 2 (and 1 but let's not talk about that game's mechanics)
Pertaining to the question I asked you guys, the games I'm pretty sure I could beat most people (or at least many) here in: Dead or Alive (2-5) Soulcalibur (2-5) Pokemon (XY-ORAS) Devil May Cry (3-4) Bayonetta (1-2) I'm only decent at Mortal Kombat right now (own 9, don't own X yet) [BTW, y'all slippin' on the censors more and more ;>]
This just popped up randomly in my head: I really, really dislike when people say "Don't you dare call your SO 'bae.'" Like, fuck, are you that anal that you'd sacrifice your romantic feelings because of a God damn joke? Do you have some sacred rulebook that overrides the emotional ties you've built to a person because they didn't pronounce one letter of an otherwise perfectly acceptable moniker? To me, a tomantic relationship should be one of the least restrictive situations: if your SO can't accept you for a joke, you should look elsewhere.
You're trying to push me away, DC. And you're doing it very well.
You said "everything else" here: Which I assumed meant "everything that isn't live TV." Also, I don't ever equate how long something runs with how good it is.
That's how I have it. From what I heard though, the DLC won't work the same way?
What I'd love is a great stand-alone film for Psylocke, but that'll never happen.
The feel of having never finished a game for months and then finally getting to the end of one is great.
Lost with everything else? Marvel is destroying DC in live-action film quality (yeah DC had Batman Begins and The Dark Knight but everything else with their big characters has been trash for decades [Watchmen was good but not connected to their main characters' universes]) The game side is just about equal, except (once again) Batman having some of the best hero games ever with the Arkham series (outside of the terribland Origins.) I actually liked the web shooter thing...until it became an annoying plot device that made Spider-Man USELESS in the first ASM's final battle.
Ugh, not worth. I'll wait for whatever the new line will be.
So...can DC stop trying the TV series route? Marvel already won with Daredevil.
This game looks damn good, and I hope someday to be able to manage steady 60FPS on the Ultra settings. Right now I'm getting 45-55FPS with mostly Medium, Texture and Detail set to Ultra, on my GTX 960. Heavily considering a CPU upgrade, but that's super costly.
That wasn't part of the arc I read. I only read Civil War 1-7, written by Mark Millar, drawn by Steve McNiven, inked by Dexter Vines, and Morry Hollowell. I really don't understand your issue with it so far. I don't at all think it's as simple as you put it: both sides had really good points and refused to compromise, and that's exactly how many real life conflicts are and have been in the past.
When you're at the final boss of Bloodborne and your friend tells you that you missed like three other bosses because you didn't know about the absolutely arbitrary-sounding instructions to find them.
I move forth into this Nightmare-ish Fog.
If there's any complaint I have about the game, it's that some of the optional paths are VERY obscure. I had to have a friend tell me that, somehow, I've missed three bosses, and hearing him try to explain how to reach one...really shows that, while I generally love the enigmatic tone and method of storytelling in the game, they need to leave a few more hints if they want even half of the player-base to experience what they've created. (that and I don't care at all about Chalice Dungeons.) DOUBLEPOST: New patch will include the following: Password matching can now be done regardless of level. Password matching can now be done even if registered to a different oath. Quicksilver bullets and blood vials can now be stored up to 600 (the previous limit was 99) in the storage in Hunter’s Dream. Weapons and hunter tools have been tweaked, it will be mostly buffs. A bug of the Rifle Spear has been fixed. A bug with Blood Gem Imprints has been fixed. Boss rewards in the Chalice Dungeons will be improved, they will now drop blood gems randomly. Chalice dungeons will now include Blood Stone Shards at Depth 1, Twin Blood Stone Shards at Depth 2, Twin Blood Stone Shards and Blood Stone Chunks at Depth 3, Blood Stone Chunks at Depth 4 and Blood Stone Chunks and Blood Rocks at Depth 5. Other bugs have been fixed. Dat 600 storage tho.
Uh, I don't think at all that the Pro-Reg side was right all along; they're just the ones who got their side supported the most (which doesn't constitute "right" to me.) And even if I was disappointed with the finale, it wasn't because of that outcome: actually, the idea that the wrong "side" won really interested me. And that's part of what I loved about Civil War: I never saw either of the two sides as "good" or "bad"; they were both, to me, very understandable perspectives, and I could easily side with one side one day and the other the next day. Which...brings me to discuss Avengers vs. X-Men, which I always found a SUPER EASY QUESTION to be asked (and was able to predict the outcome of perfectly, though obviously not the specific events.)
Spoiler: Watched this today One of my favorite Godzilla movies now.
What? I loved Civil War. Finale was disappointing sure, but not enough to overcome how engaging and "holy shit" it was.
