Personally, I like to wait to watch series/seasons till they've been completed. But from what I've seen (and heard) Shingeki no kyonjin is pretty darn good. I would say watch K-on! since its awready completed, but that's how I like to watch things. I hate watching an episode and then having to wait a week or so for the next one.
