Wow this is really old news. Hell there was a program on Health channel involving many teens with this problem and they all met at a convention.

She is aging, just not physically. Her brain will age even if it can not be shown, no one can live forever. As you age your perception of time speeds up (like when you are little Christmas comes so slow, but when you're older it seems to come right up) if one ever stays alive for more than some age you would mostly just die from going mentally insane.

Also she would probably act older if she were treated her age, not a baby.
