I get that; it's how I feel about stuff like Thrice.

    Listening now. Will give opinions.

Brutal Love - Decent song. Didn't do anything I didn't enjoy.
In the End - Ok little song, but I'm not a fan of Billy's vocals. I like the melody.
Stuck With Me - Decent, but again not a fan of the vocals.

Of those three, It's not that I'm not enjoying what I'm listening to, but I'm not hooked either.

Well, could you just cut it down a little? You have to understand at least a bit how overwhelming it looks to me.

This has never been misunderstood by me. I'm still going to voice what I think though.

Can't decide your impressions for you, regardless of my intention ;p

It's my go-to song because it's the only one I've listen to and genuinely liked and still continue to like. Many of my friends are Green Day fans. I performed a snippet of American Idiot for my thespian induction week of high school. My brother played that album a lot when he was in high school in our house. My friend's brother plays Brain Stew semi-frequently on the drums. Point is I've heard more than you may think (please don't take that in a dismissive tone, I don't intend that.)

Chop down that list and maybe I'll try it out.

...venomous disdain? I like stuff like Boulevard of Broken Dreams, but everything else is a passive "well it doesn't suck to me but I wouldn't choose to listen to this anytime."

I'm not anti-Green Day. I'm just not pro-Green Day either. Being neutral yet seeing so much love for them is what confuses me.

That's bound to happen when one of the first things we hear about the film involves changing Dr. Doom into a scrawny hacker who uses a forum name of "Doom" instead of a masculine leader of a country who consistently stands against a team of four mutants.

Also, it's not the standard. Guys like Roger Ebert were the standard. Rotten Tomatoes is simply an aggregation of numbers given by people of varying knowledges of film quality.

I'll personally either Redbox it for a dollar or wait for it on television/Netflix.

If only they made music that I didn't feel completely apathetic to. Which is admittedly my own problem, but I still feel left out and want to voice that.

So...what about the acting? The writing? The directing? The score? The cinemtography? The themes presented?

Oh, alright, thanks. I'll just wait for the official one then. Shouldn't take long considering the last few leaks of trailers.

I like Vegeta more than Goku is all.

To be honest, I completely forgot about the Pilaf part...

In contrast with Resurrection F, I enjoyed all of the character interactions there were in Battle of Gods, minor as some were, especially Buu and Beerus.

As I said, Resurrection F definitely had more fights, but I didn't care what was going on for most of them, because they were cannon fodder battles until Freeza showed up, whilst in Resurrection F the only fights were really against Beerus who I loved seeing on the screen, both because of his power and his personality.

But you're right that Resurrection F had more character development for Goku and Vegeta. I did appreciate that, but I still think the ending was genuinely annoying and frustrating.

Both are definitely flawed, as is the entire series, but I can honestly say I really enjoy both of them.

Saw Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F yesterday.

A good DBZ film, but not as good to me as Battle of Gods.

The ending felt like a giant cop-out, Vegeta didn't get as much justice as he did in Battle of Gods, there's too much padding (but then again this is Dragon Ball Z), and I felt there was a lot of the cast missing compared to Battle of Gods.

Luckily, there is far more actual fighting I can remember in this film, which was really well animated (usually), the CG wasn't as egregious (though still overused for my tastes,) there were many really good comedic lines for the English dub, and Freeza himself was done really well. Also a big fan of Goku's new outfit. Kinda prefer Vegeta's Buu Saga outfit though.

Hoping for at least one more film, this time bringing back fusion, before the series ends for good. I've heard bad things about the animation in Dragon Ball Super...

Well, it's unusual for my dad to want to avoid seeing something. Though he usually ends up regretting it.

For fuck's sake we went to see The Spirit and my dad walked out before the movie ended.

Even my dad said something along the lines of "we should probably not see this from the reviews I saw." Yay dodging bullets.
