"There are many levels to the castle," Van Helsing replied. "It would be best to search by sections of west and east."

    "That sounds fine," Edward agreed.

"I guess that's true," Lestat replied kindly. "Though... we both really want similar things."

"Good advice," Eleanor replied. "Either way, though, the bogs seem to be something in our way however we look at it. What other options do we have that won't take a lot of time?"

"Well, we have a plan," Van Helsing said suddenly, changing the subject. "We will split into two groups: Me, Anna, and Jinx... and then Edward, Hannah, Carl, and Michael are another. We will go to the castle, split up, see what we can find, and meet back here by nightfall. Sound good?"

Edward frowned. He quickly sent these words into Hannah's head: We can lose Carl easily... I don't know about Michael...

Lestat shook his head a little. "The fear isn't that big of a deal," he said. "People fear me... yet I still have many admirers."

"Can't believe we waited around for you two to mess around all night," Van Helsing muttered when Edward, Jinx, and Hannah entered the room.

"Your just one jealous son of a b.itch, aren't you?" Edward snapped back, not in the mood. "As if you just stayed away all night long..."

Lestat smiled. "Sometimes you need to realize that fear is a way to earn new trust. You could do whatever you wish, my dear, but we both know that you will feel guilty, lonely, and unsatisfied if you go home now."

Eleanor nodded at Tristan's words. "I think our best option is heading toward the bogs at this point; it's probably the least-guarded area. The sun will not be setting for at least four, maybe five hours. That should give us enough time to get through there with some light to guide us, giving us an advantage... am I right?"

Eleanor smiled to herself, shaking her head. You're welcome, she thought to herself, spurring her own horse forward to follow Tristan.

Eleanor sighed, and nudged her horse forward a bit. "I can't do that, really," she replied, a little embarrassed. "It's not an ability of my mother's that I inherited. I do have quite a gift with telekinesis now, though. I've trained it, focused my strength, so it doesn't tire me to use it too often."

Eleanor saddled the horse she had chosen and mounted it. She led the mare out of the stable.

    "Alright, let's go, then."

"No," Eleanor replied. "There are several horses left here, though. I'm sure no one will miss them."

Eleanor thought of how long this would take. "A good path," she agreed. "Though the forest may have some problems, it's nothing I can't handle. And," she added, for some reason hating to see Tristan so gloomy, "I know that your sister is fine now; we will find her."
