Eleanor nodded. "It's a smaller city, isn't it?" She touched her ankle selfconsciously; she hated having any hinderance, especially an injury. "It should take an hour or so to walk there."
OOC: pezz is the greatest! XD BIC: Eleanor shook her head and woke up, not even remembering falling asleep. "Good," she sighed, looking around and realizing where they were. "Now we're just southwest of Tyaom, right?"
OOC: i think we need to get rid of the "arsenic cookie lady" XD Eleanor listened quietly to Tristan's and Nas' conversation. "My mother used to mention things like that about these area of the world," she commented. "Though she wasn't nearly as focused on nature as you are, Nas." She gave the Summon a small smile, trying to seem friendly; the last thing she wanted was some like her on her bad side.
OOC: lol i know everyone else is busy, too... you guys are all just better multi-taskers than me! kuudos all around! :D BIC: Eleanor sighed, pulling out her right dagger. Taking out her special clean cloth once more, she wiped all the gore and bog scum off of the blade and its handle. She put the cloth away and moved to sit behind Tristan. "I'll be careful, Nas," she added to the Summon, hoping not to offend her. "If he wants me to stop, I will." She turned her attention to the wound in Tristan's side, at first parting the wounded skin with her left index finger and thumb. "It goes pretty deep," she muttered. "Pretty close to the back of your rib cage... I'll have to cut about an inch. Just... pay attention to where we're headed, not what I'm doing." Eleanor placed the tip of her blade against the bottom of the wound and began to slowly work her way down, using her left hand to steady the top of the cut. Not much later she sighed when she saw the tip of the arrowhead, just a little while above the cut she'd made. "Alright," she said aloud, moving her dagger away from the wound. "I can pull it out with my mind in a downwards motion, so I can make the least amount of damage. I've honestly never treated a wound with telekenesis before, so... don't move." Eleanor focused her gaze on the bit of the arrowhead she could see, and, before her nerves got the better of her, she used all her concentrated strength to pull it out of Tristan's back. As soon as she had what was left of the arrow in her hand, she picked up her cleaning cloth and pressed the clean side against the open wound, hoping to stop the bleeding. She gave Tristan a weak smile and handed him the broken arrow. "Did you want to keep this?"
OOC: okay idk how you guys can be on as often as you are... lol i got school and work and a boyfriend :P yikes life is busy! BIC: Eleanor thought to herself. "That's an idea," she said. "Though I can only move things that I can physically see; I can try to pull on the part of the arrow I can see, but not as well as if I opened the wound a bit to see how far the damage goes."
OOC: yes the waterpark was super fun! i think MORE sunscreen shall be a rule for us from now on, though XD BIC: Eleanor nodded at Tristan's words. That crystal sounds like something that could relate to that old legend my mother always told me... "How else would you propose getting that thing out?" she asked aloud. "I have things to clean my blade, but nothing to really clean your wound..."
nice! lol yeah ive been busy with lots of stuff, including my new puppies! i know my sister has had lots of free time lately, but i shall try to...
OOC: wow you guys are AWESOME.... me and mah sister should be back later tonight; we're goin to a water park to have some fun!! :D BIC: Eleanor watched Tristan from the boat as he returned. "Can I ask what's in the bag? Better yet, you tell me and I can help you with that arrow."
"If you insist," Eleanor said, relaxing. "That's probably a good idea."
"Yes, very good," Eleanor said. "I'm very grateful." She got up and limped over to the boat, sitting in it. "I've enough strength to lift this thing if you just tell me which way to go so we don't disturb the water."
Eleanor removed her hand from Tristan's side and smiled. "I think you have your new friend to thank for that."
Eleanor put out a hand anyway and touched the swollen skin next to the arrow's shaft. "It doesn't feel like it's poisoned," she began. "Though your skin is very warm..." She glanced over at the boat, amazed. "Wow!" she exclaimed. "That's impressive."
easy what?
"Dammit," Eleanor muttered. "Let me see."
ooh then come IM with everyone on thecatseye! we're talking about random stuff! :D
"Thank you," Eleanor said, smiling through her pain. "Yeah... that Lake is quite a happy sight right now! How... how about you? You said this woman saved you, but are you hurt?"
yeah its pretty boring but it helps... what are you up to?
OOC: i did not! it just... slipped... XD BIC: Eleanor smiled at Nasserea. "I see... Well, good to meet you," she said politely. "I'm the Eleanor, as you can see." She sat down next to Tristan slowly, pulling her right knee up to her chest to examine her ankle. Bits of the tight flesh hung off in strips, blood coating down to her toes. "I'll be fine," she muttered. "It'll just be a bit hard to walk on for a few hours."
