You may not be familiar with it but there is actually a "sequel" to Odyssey written, at least as i remember by a Greek author, and is considered a world masterpiece. One of my uni teachers told us about it. It shows what happened to Odysseys after the end of Odyssey but as our teacher told us it's very "heavy" literature and only a few people mange to finish it because it is very long. Now, if you want original stuff, why don't you read some comedies? They are hilarious, although i'm not sure if they are nearly as funny as the original is, in English language. As for mythology... well i will have to look my tragedy books, since i don't remember any at the moment.
Well when i was younger i used to read Marvel comics, mainly Spider man and from DC, Batman. But for some reason translated Marvel and DC comic stopped being published and till i got seventeen i wasn't aware of the various comic book stores that had a variety of Marvel and DC comics. And although the past few years new publishing houses made their appearance and now we have Marvel, Dark horse and DC comics i don't read them a lot. I tried to catch up, but i believe that the superhero genre is a complete mess. One hero dies, then other travels to the past to stop something like the Civil war in the Marvel universe etc etc. Why won't they just have a beginning and end is something i will never understand. Why there should be so many adaptions? And why do they make stupid comics like the Marvel zombies! I could go on but i'd better stop. Now, from Marvel i used to read Ultimate Spider man and Fantastic four but i stopped. Some time in the future i will finish those stories as i like them a lot. I would also like to read the Civil war saga although many people claim that is a complete and useless mess. I guess i will have to figure that out on my own. On the DC part i'm very interested at the Trinity saga. I'm on volume six (i know, way back) and unfortunately i cannot find the other issues because the series has ended. I keep my hopes up though. Apart from DC and Disney, i read W.I.T.C.H (which is a hundred times better than the cartoon adaption), Groo, which i 100% recommend reading since his it's a hilarious comic, and many many Disney stories and comics. Anyone familiar with the likes of Carl barks and Don Rosa? I will also begin reading Sky Doll asap.

I love House. Not that much him but the show definitely. Season 6 just started here and i'm very disappointed by House's behaviour towards his b-friend. He acts like a jerk but he won't admit it! He's very annoying at times but he's one of those characters you hate to love.
I haven't watched it yet. I always forget to watch it but, i will do it asap since it's very famous among the Potter fans.

Rurouni Kenshin because is the best shonen ever. And maybe Death Note but since i haven't read it and only watched the anime i can't tell for sure but i'm pretty sure it wll rock as well. And maybe D.Gray man as well, but i've only read the first issue. Seriously, why you people like the manga of KH? It's quite bad XD.

Lion Boy The truth The Lion Boy trilogy sucks. The first two books are good but the third one is just an eighteen chapter filler. The "good" chapters could have been added in the second book. When i was done with i was jaw dropped at how bad the book and especially the ending was. Ok, it's kids/teenage fantasy book, but so is Harry Potter.
@ Cherry: I see your point. Actually Oedipus's whole family had issues from the past. Like Laius (i hope i wrote that right, i don't know how is written in English) who was the first rapist in history. And he raped a teenage boy O.o Have you studied both of Oedipus?
If you think that Oedipus is disturbing then you don't know much XD No offense. There are many other disgusting myths, involving eating humans and rapists. Anyway, since we have courses about ancient Greek tragedies at university we learn many things about Greek myths, so i'll be studying them for the next three years.
