Even without coding knowledge, it's surprisingly versatile, especially if you're willing to get creative. Add scripting and you can basically do whatever you want besides like 3D (I mean, I bet you could add 3D, but it'd take a lot more effort than it would to just use a program made for 3D games) Also, VX Ace comes with a character generator, for the spriting impaired, it's also Steam Workshop enabled, so I assume there's a lot of fan made stuff, PLUS there are many, MANY fan communities dedicated to providing resources to RPGMaker users So yeah no, do something cool or weird then share it with us
My biggest concern right now is that the combat will feel like DDD, because that's what it looks like. DDD feels stiff and awkward, it has none of the flow of KH2
The bundle actually includes games made in RPGMaker. It's a fairly versatile little tool, great for game devs without much coding experience

Vanille and Sazh make up for their awful animation lag with unique abilities. Sazh's blitz can be the msot damaging attack in the game against giant enemies, for example, and Vanille has Death (her casting speed isn't that horrible, either) Snow runs into the problem that only his health is in any way noteworthy. Hope is hands down the best caster, with the fastest magic animation speed, and highest magic stat, Fang is basically that with physical attacks, and Lightning is versatile enoguh to be decent at either, basically making them the best party for nearly any situation

Well that sounds like basically the worst. Reminds me of a friend of mine who basically got knocked out f his chance to pursue history, which was his passion, because the history teacher literally lost so much of his homework and tests that he got less than 40% when he should have gotten over 90. Really is a shame how teachers can be such a big case of luck of the draw

Every website I have ever been on in my entire life that has been around for multiple years always has a bunch of people complaining about the good old days, with absolutely no indication that they are actually capable of posting anything even remotely higher quality than the current generation. You're just pushing away all the bad an exaggerating the good I mean I dunno, would it really be so hard for all the old cranky members to get together and show the new members how it's done, or something?

We're not talking about VC though, we're talking about Gamecube. The Gamecube can stretch to fill a wide screen just as well as anything, heck, if you have the right model you can even output in 480p
It's just 4:3 footage stretched to fit the screen though, 16:9 implies the game is actually running in widescreen
