"Dang, why y'all on edge?" Xara asked, cocking her head to the side as her weapon was whisked away into darkness. She ignored the comment about the sloppy stance from someone and looked at the two contending leaders. "Let's all be civil and not start a civil war here." The girl then giggled half-heartly, rubbing the back of her head. "Beautiful way of putting it dude, 'Let your hatred turn into darkness'. Yup, sure, that works I guess. But anger blinds you to the point where you can't see diddly squat Even if we walking in the darkness, we won't be able to see what we're doing with anger. We might as well destroy ourselves while we destroy our enemies. Then what? Oops, there goes our goal for domination. THERE'S NOTHING TO DOMINATE. OOPS, OUR BAD." Her eyes flicked over to the girl who seemed to be the zombie girl's sister. Then someone was having a break down. On top of that, it seemed like there were two people fighting for role of leadership Things were just getting more and more complicated. She sighed out, shaking her head. "Everybody cool ya jets, mon! You put deh lime in the coconut 'n you shake et all up. Kooooooombaaaaaayaaaaaaa. Breath through nose, out through mouth. Wax on. Wax off. People die. People get hurt. It's the price of war. So let's all shut up and get down to business to defeat the huns, hm? " ~~~ Keiko was about to reply to what King Mickey said, about hiding out or something because some kind of war was going to start. A war? What kind of war? She wanted to ask those things, but then suddenly something came up and then some girl stormed out of the room without a word. "Um... what just happened?" she asked quietly, but then realized everyone was asking the same question. Some people even suggested to go after the girl to calm her down, but it seemed like they were losing precious time to do that. Especially with a war about to start. BUT WHAT WAR?!
Hey, just to let you know, I'm writing the second chapter of my story. I think it would still be cool to have Apple apart of it. If you don't want...

She sighed out, nodding her head though in agreement until another idea popped in her mind. "Who side are the villagers on anyways? Ours or theirs? If Vex is being cruel to the people, I assume they want to flee the place. Maybe we can... evacuate the villagers to a safer location?" Fae twiddled her fingers in front of her, feeling the anxiety creep up inside her as she said what was on her mind. "Maybe one of us can go in disguised as one of the villagers and give the guards wine spiked with a sleeping drug to celebrate with. Then when they sleep, we can take the villagers to safety... But if they're on Vex's side, then the idea probably will not work." She felt like she was giving useless suggestions. Her father was very good at strategies, but Vex came as a surprise and he was gone now. Fae felt a twinge of sadness and put a hand up to her chest to calm herself. The time for crying was over. Fae needed to be strong now for the sake of the future of the kingdom. ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ If the mask wasn't in the way, everyone would see Donte's deep frown on his face. He despised being called a pedophile. "I'd rather see that girl dead and mangled," he said under his breath before looking to Vex. So he proved that he was of some use, very good. But now it was time to prove himself further. "There have been rumors spreading around that the rebels have moved their location quite a distance from here... Balmar I believe. As of what they are plotting, that I don't know. However, I heard that they suffered a great defeat but they still stand strong. Thus I believe they won't stay quiet for very long. I would assume for them to make a move to severely disable you and your army. To make a war successful in your favor, you need food, weapons, and armor. Though they are annoying, they are smart. The rebels know this too. Where do you believe is the main source of what you need to win a war?"
Xara was going to have another word or two with this chick of the light. Chick-aaaaaaan. But then Xara heard the voice of the man before and looked over her shoulder and away from the girl. "Oh hey! You're back! Good, this girl was getting on my nerves." Xara could see that the other girl was unconscious know, probably resting after her big ordeal. Darkness was not to be trifled with, and to newcomers like Sapphire, it would sap her strength. She listened to what the guy had to say and then put a hand on her hip. "Yeah! What he said. Besides, I wasn't here to kidnap. Psh, you think all of us darklings go around and kidnap people. Sheesh. And well, like he said..." Xara smirked and then followed after the dude, waving to the chick that was trying to really fight her. "Well, see ya later gator! Have fun blinding people with your obnoxious light." She then hurried up to catch up with the other guy, walking along side of him through the dark cooridor. She still had her katana out, just in case the strange one decided to try anything. "So is she going to be okay?" Xara asked, looking over at Sapphire who was in R's arms. "By the way, the name's Xara. Hot-firey purple haired chickadee at your service." ~~~ Keiko smiled as the offer was granted for her to stay so long as she could regain her memories. But she had a feeling if she stuck around here all the time, she wasn't going to get anywhere finding out who she was. She looked up when more people came in, raising her eyebrow as she looked at them. Did she, um, know them? She scratched her head again before putting her hands behind her back and whistled to herself. They didn't seem to notice her anyways, so she guessed they didn't know who she was anyways. ....Where was she again?
׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º×׺°”˜`”°º× Fae listened to the two men talk. They were going to go after the stronghold? That was a pretty bold move, and a big one at that. If Zane could pick it out so easily without looking at the plans, who else would know about it as well? She cleared her throat a bit, not feeling to confident to help with the battle plans, but she wanted to put in her own input. "... Wouldn't Vex be expecting that?" she asked, looking at Caleb timidly. "I mean... What if we starved them out? Cut off their supply line...?" She shrugged her shoulders and bit her lower lip. "No one can really fight that well on an empty stomach... Wait. Then again, the villagers might not have anything to eat, and if we found a way to get food to the villagers, Vex would take it away from them." She massaged her forehead. Was storming the stronghold really the only option they had right now. ≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎ So the man thought he was a pervert. Ha! Or at least that's what it came off like. "I assure you, the pictures came from another source," he said lowly, standing up straight. "I don't have time to do such foolish things. But you wish to know what I can do? Right then... I will demonstrate." Donte reached out in his cloak and pulled out a knife. He felt the tension suddenly rise in the room, and he glanced to the guards who suddenly had their weapons drawn. "Relax... I will not hurt your king." Donte then slid the blade through his palm, making a cut on it. Instead of crimson blood showing though, it was completely black. Donte sprinkled some of it on the photos on the ground and then stood back, saying something under his breath. Suddenly, the black splatters on the picture turned into large needles that protruded from the ground, skewering the photo. And then, when Donte said something quietly under his breath, the needles fell on the floor in a puddle of black blood, taking no shape. Donte then raised his cut hand and turned it so his palm was facing down. A large sword made of his blood formed and hardened. "It is sharp too," Donte commenting, swinging his sword so it made a whooshing noise before he liquified it and the black blood retreated back into his cut. His cut was then healed soon afterwards and he bowed to the king. "I have studied the Dark Arts from an early age. My blood is black, as you can see. It can liquify and harden, it can also act as an armor within me. No sword will cut me so easily, for the wound will just heal itself quickly. I can also manipulate shadows and harm others through their shadows... Though the pain is just an illusion." He stood up straight, looking to Vex to see what he thought of it all.
"Ah!" Xara jumped out of the way of the arrow that came spiraling at her, and watched as it heavily hit the ground. Normal arrows would just impale the grass, but this one actually made dirt clods fly everywhere as if it was propelled by some kind of magic."Nah-nah, missed me!" Xara made a raspberry with her tongue and then held up her sword in a defense position. "Well that was extremely rude! Trying to disarm me so you can impale me? What, you can't fight me own your own? What are you, a chicken?" Xara folded her arms into little wings and flapped while bobbing her head to mock movements of a bird. "Baw-baw-baw-AWWWWCK! I bet your used the feathers from your butt to make your arrow! And on top of that, does it look I'm killing anyone yet?" she asked, resting her weight on one hip while waving her hand up in the sky for emphasis. "Nooooo, so you better come out before I light your touche on fi-" Suddenly, Xara was cut short when a note floated in front of her from the realm of DARKNEEEEESS. "Huh?" Raising an eyebrow, she took the piece of paper and read over it. Some things she read she agreed with and some others she did not, but the things she agreed with overruled the things she didn't agree with. With a slight smile, she tucked the piece of paper away in her pocket and then raised her sword up once more in defense position. "I think I'm wasting my time with whoever you are if I try to explain what's going on, so let's cut to the chase. Your friend over there with the keyblade dude? Yeah, you interrupt whatever is going on now between the two of them, and a gaurentee that she's going to go poof, buh-by forever, into bits and pieces of darkness. So I suggest you stay out of the way and let darkness and light take it's natural course." OOC: Sorry if I missed you, my computer is being extrememly slow and crappy
"My name is Keiko," the confused girl said with a small smile as she stepped out of the room. "Sorry if I'm bothering you or anything..." Keiko twiddled with her thumbs and the poked her glasses up her nose again. "I think my name is all I know really. I don't know where I am..." She trailed off and tapped her chin with her index finger. "Where did I come from again?" She asked herself, and then scratched her head as if that would help answer her question. ~~~ Xara sighed out in boredom as she sat there on the ground by the two dreamers. "Booooooooring," she said with another sigh and rolled her eyes. Just then, Xara heard something rustling in the bushes and raised an eyebrow. Well, she wasn't alone anymore. And something told her to keep her guard up now. "Ah come on!" she exclaimed loudly with a smirk. "Confrontation already? I mean, yeah I was bored, but sheesh." Xara pushed herself to stand up and with a flick of her wrist, summoned one of her katanas in a swirl of purply flames. "I was just getting comfortable." She glanced around, not really taking any kind of fighting dance and just stood there. "Come out, come out where ever you are~."
“My lord, we found this man wandering around outside the palace gates.” Donte was thrown on the floor in front of Vex. He glared at them through the eye of his mask and then looked up at the man before him. “Ah… so the rumors were true,” he said quietly, and then bowed his head to the man before him. “Forgive me for trespassing, my lord. I am Donte Samuel Inferno… I was exiled many years ago for trying to rid the kingdom of the pesky king… But I see someone else is ruling now. It puts my mind at ease…” Donte glanced up at Vex, looking at him through the only eye hole in his mask. “It seems you are doing a wonderful job… However, I should warn you my lord, if you let the people here have even just a little bit of hope, they will rebel… I come with valuable information. A little bird told me that the next princess to the throne is still alive… And with the enemy.” Donte bowed deeply to the man before him, pulling out several pictures that were taken. “Behold.” Donte laid them out in front of Vex to see. There in each shot was the princess herself, unaware that she was being watched. “Allow me to humbly pledge my loyalty to you as a tool and servant Lord Vex…” he said, crossing his arm over his chest as he continued to bow.

"Eh?" Keiko turned around when she heard the sudden voice behind her. Finally, someone had responded to her! But one look at the source of the voice, she knew that wasn't what she was expecting at all. Maybe a person, but a giant mouse? "Um..." Keiko heard the first question, but she didn't know what to say. Then a second question was asked of her. She stood there a moment, trying to piece together the questions in her head. This giant mouse... guy... was probably wondering what in the world she was doing here. "Um, I actually want to know that myself..." she laughed nervously and rubbed the back of her neck. "Sorry if I'm, um, intruding... in your... house. Is this your house?" she asked with a genuinely blank look on her face and looked around once more, then back to the giant mouse. 'I must've hit my head pretty hard... This is one weird dream...' ~*~*~*~*~"AH!" Xara jumped back when someone came out of no where. It's the person she ticked off! she first thought as she backed off, but then when the guy knelt down by the girl and was explaining what was going on, Xara blinked and then relaxed. So this wasn't the guy that the girl ticked off. He seemed to be on her side, the darkness. But why was he helping? Was she a comrade? Or a new ally to the dark side? But she couldn't ask questions. It seemed like both the guy and the girl faded out of reality, leaving Xara somewhat alone. She sighed out, walking back over to the two that were in the dark trance and sat on the ground. There wasn't much she could do right now but just stand back and watch over the two maybe. "The dark isn't all that bad you know," Xara said, resting her chin on her propped up arm. "I mean, yeah, it's scary at first... But you get use to it. It's actually kind of soothing once you don't fight against it." Maybe the girl couldn't hear Xara, but Xara didn't want to sit around and do nothing but guard them. That was kind of boring. So she was just going to talk and give her two cents to whatever or whoever was listening to her.
No Anti-Sora, STAY AWAY FROM THE PINKNESS! D<
Keiko opened her eyes. She just laid on the ground and blinked, looking up at what it seemed like a ceiling above her. She couldn't really tell. And boy, did her head hurt. Her whole body felt like it was floating, but at the same time it was hard to move any of her limbs. So she just stared up, trying to figure out what was going on exactly as she waited for her body to cooperate with her. The girl tried to retrace her steps in her head, hoping that would give her some idea of what to do. 'Let's see, I'm laying on a floor in a room... I think...? And I was... Where was I? And I think I was doing... what was I doing again?' Keiko groaned, suddenly realizing that she had no clue what in the world was going on, or where she was to begin with. It seemed like all her memories were lost somewhere, or maybe that's what happened. Or maybe she wasn't existing to begin with? "Ugh..." Those thoughts were just making her head hurt even more. She reached up and touched her forehead after making some effort to move and then bumped something from her eyes. Suddenly, the room was blurry. "Oh... glasses," she muttered, slipping them back over her eyes. She had glasses? Since when? "Wow, what happened?" Keiko asked herself as she forced herself to sit up. There was no time to lay around, she had to figure out what in the world was going on! Rubbing her forehead once more, and being careful to not knock off her glasses again, she then pushed off from the ground into a standing position. "Whoa." She waved her arms around, feeling suddenly unstable from standing up too quickly. She caught her balance and then pushed her glasses up her nose, looking around at her surroundings. She was in a room of sorts, and the room was very small, but then what? How did she get here? "Um, hello?" Keiko called out, hoping someone would come in and tell her what she was doing here. Biting her lower lip after not hearing any answers, she looked to her left and saw a window with no glass on it. Raising an eyebrow, she walked over to it and had a look outside. The sky was a weird orangish color, and it seemed like she was on an island in some sort of looking dream cloud. She could see stars too if she looked hard enough. "So weird," she mumbled and scratched her head. Were all skies and places like this? Probably not. So many questions... ~*~*~*~*~A figure casually walked through Twilight Town's Forest, seeming like they had nothing better to do. There was a noise, like someone groaning and the figure stopped walking. Then, soon enough, a shadow was standing over Sapphire. "Man, what happened to you, eh?" Xara said as she crouched down beside the wounded girl and tilted her head as she looked at her. She then reached out an index finger and poked the strange girl in the cheek. "Did you make someone mad~? Yeesh. I'd hate to be you right now. But since I'm not you, guess I'm good." Xara let out a chuckle and then looked down at the girl again, moving her finger from her cheek. "Well, I don't know which side you're on, but I guess that doesn't matter right now. So, I feel a bit nice today." Xara pulled out a Mega Potion from one of her pockets and cast it over the girl. Soon she was enveloped in a green light and things were getting patched up as far as Xara could see. "Merry Christmas!" The purple haired girl exclaimed with a smirk and then stood back up. "But no, seriously, who's rocker did you tip over? Are they still ticked off and fuming somewhere?" Xara took a look around to be sure it was just her and this girl she didn't know. She wasn't ready to give her own name out or her side.

☠~:☠Place: Own home/frame☠Emotion: Lonely/Under the Weather☠Music: Lost Chair/Sally's Song☠Day: Four {4/4}~☠The visit seemed to be very short, even though Cammy was over at her house for around two to three hours. They talked, they made cupcakes and a cake, played with Echo's puppets and dolls, dressed them up, but never did they talk once about what was bothering the strange lonely girl. Something was stirring in the air, Echo sensed. Something was about to change soon. Whether it was a good or bad thing, that's what Echo did not know and it was making her scared with each hour that would tick on by. She closed the door behind Cammy after saying goodbye to the princess and then leaned on it, sighing out as she hit her head gently against the wooden surface. What was going to happen now? Would she still be around to have tea with Miki and Mori? Would she be able to host tea parties with Angie and Sammy? Would she be able to see Cammy and visit the day with her? Echo lifted her head up and looked down at the end of the hallway. Mounted on a wall was a mirror, reflecting a hideous reflection that even made Echo shudder at. She wouldn't blame herself for wanting to throw her away either if that day came. She rubbed at the blackness around her eyes to try to make it go away, but it stayed put. Eventually, the girl shield her eyes from the mirror by looking down to the ground and let her hair fall in front of her face. "I sense there's something in the wind," she quietly sang as she walked down the hallway and took the mirror off the wall. "That feels like tragedy's at hand..." She set the mirror on the floor and turned it around so that she wouldn't see any more reflections. Looking up, she then moved to the kitchen to clean up the baking mess so her kitchen could look somewhat nice. "And though I 'd like to stand by him... Can't shake this feeling that I have..." The kitchen was all clean soon enough, the dolls and puppets were all put away, and now it was time to go back to that creepy room. "The worst is just around the bend..." Echo felt her eyes stinging with tears threatening to come, but she held it back. She couldn't cry after all, not with about to freeze in place and go to sleep like a good little drawing should. "And does he notice my feelings for him? And will he see, how much he means to me...?" Though she had been abandoned all this time, Echo still felt her master's life through her monochrome veins. It was as if she always knew what he felt everyday, even though she never saw him. She picked up her puppet from the floor and then looked out to the world beyond, just like she was drawn to do. She then pushed her hair back and pressed her hand over her ear, looking sad and creepy like she was supposed to do. "I think it's not to be," Echo sighed out the last lyrics, freezing in place and then fell asleep like all drawings were suppose to do.

She glanced up at Caleb and Zane before she looked back down at Marlene. Everything seemed to have stopped all together now. She sighed out in relief, letting go of Marlene gently and helped her to sit up. Marlene didn't know herself what was going on, which made Fae feel a bit more nervous. Was it some kind of contract magic? One where someone had to feel the same pain as the other in order to save their life? Nonetheless, the crisis seemed to be over now. "Thank you for saving me," Fae finally said, looking at Marlene with a small smile on her lips. "And you too Zane, thank you..." she said, looking up at the man and smiled at him. "I was pretty close to dying... So thank you." She didn't know what else to say. She was just relieved that Marlene was okay. Should she tell them what she was to them? A princess? No, Caleb and the others would probably not let her fight at all. She wanted to help her country folk though, it was her duty. It was suppose to be her brother's burden to bear, but he refused. It was up to Fae to see this kingdom to it's future she envisioned. She wished for everything to be balanced one more, just as her father tried to strive for.
Lately, I've been struggling with a lot of problems in my life. Heh, to people who know me, it seems like I'm always struggling but this time it is different. I feel like... I can't talk to anyone. I mean, I'm going to therapy and whatnot, and I tell people here and there about a little of my struggles, but when I'm home and not with my therapist, it seems like I don't have many people to talk to. Or at least, no one at all. I don't have a best friend I can call in the middle of the night when things get rough for me, I don't have anyone I can just drive over to their house when I'm down, I don't have anyone to really instant message when I get so broken and feeling like I can't pick myself up... And it's getting harder and harder to reach out to people, because either it seems like they're too busy, I make them uncomfortable with my problems/dark thoughts that are brewing, or they don't want anything to do with me. I try to make things happy all the time for that time being and try not to be that unsuspecting rain cloud and dump everything that's bottled up in me on them... But it seems like even if I let even a little of my trapped side out, I shut people off and they quickly want to move to happier things. Like, I can't be honest with anyone. I have to lie constantly how I'm really feeling to everyone but my therapist. For example, it seems like since I left KHVs last year because of big issues happening with me, people have assumed I didn't want anything to do with them anymore. I try to start conversations with them on Skype now, but I either don't get a reply or the conversation is short lived. I mean, it feels like I chose to be alone during that big time I was struggling, and I sort of did... But now I feel like I sentenced myself to not ever have any friends again. It seems like all my friends here, and elsewhere, have been disappearing one by one, they don't want anything to do with me anymore, or they're just not interested in me. I probably hurt a lot of people... and maybe I don't know the extent of my damage... But I don't know how to really talk about that here. I just feel like because of who I've become over the years (from a Friendly_Heartless who loved everyone, to Maka the cool chick who seemed pretty strong, to now just this broken mess...) I'm not going to ever have a shot of making friends again, or repair the friendships I've damaged... Should I just accept that I'm going to be alone for a very long time? That no one wants to get involved with me and my life because I break down too much and told myself over and over again I don't deserve friendship or love because of this? I don't know who to reach out to anymore...
☠~:☠Place: Own home/frame☠Emotion: Lonely/Under the Weather☠Music: Lost Chair☠Day: Four {1/4}~☠The door to Echo's house gradually began to open with a low creek, making it sound like the door was in pain from just being opened. Nothing but shadows could be seen within the crack of the door, making the mood quite eerie. Then without much of a warning, something moved within the shadows to the crack and peered out. Echo's hair was in her face when she looked up, giving a frighting appearance. The tall girl reached up and tucked her hair away from her eyes, looking down to see who had knocked on her door this day. "Oh, Cammy," she said with a half-whisper, smiling a bit. "What a nice surprise." It was very rare that anyone came to see her. It was such a dearie place in her world, she didn't blame anyone if they never ventured to her swampy land. Cammy seemed to have a brave spirit about her though, and for that Echo was grateful for. "I apologize for taking so long, I have not been feeling very well. But, you can stay." She said it so quickly, she smiled timidly and took a step back, pushing the door open more for the little princess to wander in. She didn't mean to sound desperate, but she wanted some companionship. Echo was no better than an old granny living with forty cats. She always craved for love, attention, someone to talk to, or someone to just listen to. She motioned for Cammy to wander in with her long slender fingers. "Please, come in." Echo moved away from the door to not be so intimidating, and then slouched her shoulders as she wandered into the house towards the kitchen. Maybe she would take up Miki's offer for an operation to be shorter, she thought as she ducked to not hit her head on the doorway and went over to a whistling kettle. Grabbing a potholder she made herself, she moved the tea kettle off the stove and then turned off the fire. "Would you like some herbal tea, Cammy?" she called over her shoulder, but it sounded more like a gentle whisper. "I've also baked some cookies this morning. Would you like some with cold milk?" Offering cookies, tea, and milk to her visitors... She reached up and touched her face to make sure she did not feel any wrinkles on her skin and looked at her hands. They still looked youthful, and pale as ever. Realizing that her house was dark with all the shadows around, Echo sighed under her breath and moved to turn on the old fashion oil lamps to add some light to the eerie world. But light or no light, with one look around, Echo knew that really didn't make much of a difference. She picked at her fingers nervously before picking at her dress, waiting to see if Cammy took up her offer to stay over for a while.

He was really glad now that he asked Reilly for some input instead of keeping to his usual self. Crayons and water color... who knew that combination could create such magic? It was art science, and now Aiden's gears in his head were beginning to turn as he looked form the example back to his drawing. Smooth or rough texture? Smooth texture would probably fade out the details. Rough textures would probably create some kind of illusion for the viewers to see. Or maybe he should do a combo of all three? Or just a combo of rough and soft textures. So many choices, and such riches a plenty. Not a bad problem to have if you asked him. Then again it was a problem. This was the time he wished he could digitized his art work, paste it to some fancy program, see which things worked and which things didn't, and if he messed up, he could retrace his steps and try again. In this case, there really were no step backs and start back to before the mistake was made. Realizing that his mind almost fell into a thought coma and lost track of reality, Aiden snapped back to attention and smiled at Reilly. "Wow, thanks Reilly, this really gave me some ideas. I'll have to think about it..." Before he knew it though, class was pretty much over. He said his thank yous to Reilly once more before he put his project away, grabbed his backpack, and headed on home. He felt more upbeat and lifted than he had earlier that day and was pleased with this. Maybe he should reach out to people more; just even make small talk with them. He could learn so many new and interesting things about people if he just allowed himself to open up to them instead of being such a hermit crab... Which Aiden thought that term in itself was scientifically incorrect because hermit crabs are very sociable creatures and they don't like to be alone. He shook his head and grinned stupidly to himself before he walked up to his house. As soon as he got to the front door, his whole deminor changed. His smile was instantly gone, and his upbeat attitude was disappearing rapidly like soap bubbles in a bathtub that had been sitting there for too long. Swallowing hard, Aiden pushed the door open and walked inside the stale, dark house. No one was home. He looked around for any signs of life, but there was none save the fridge and other electric things that ran twenty-four seven. He found a note on the fridge. His parents were at some kind of fancy business party and wouldn't be back till late that night. There was left overs waiting for him in the fridge, and all he had to do was warm it up. There was no "I Love You" note or a smiley face at the end of it. It was just signed as "Mom and Dad". Sighing out, he crumpled the note up and threw it in the trashcan before going back to the front door and locked it tightly. He then pressed his forehead to the wood, listening to the hum of silence floating all around him. It was either silence or stern voices. There could never be a middle ground in this place. Maybe he could make one for himself, a middle ground that was, but it wouldn't really last for that long. Muttering to himself to tell his brain to switch off the science and psychology button for the evening, Aiden went and warmed up his leftovers and had dinner all by himself with some candlelight. After cleaning up and blowing out the candle, he headed upstairs, showered in an icy cold shower to awaken his senses for at least a bit, changed into some nightclothes, and then barricaded himself in his room. He took out scraps of paper, water color, crayons, and colored pencils and began to experiment with each combination of them. This was a good idea, Aiden just wanted to master it before he tried to apply it to the drawing he worked so hard to create. He wanted to challenge himself though. He couldn't always play it safe when it came to out. Sometimes he needed to step out of his comfort zone, he knew that. Aiden finally stopped when his eyes began to ache, and his head began to throb. It was time to call it a night. The boy let his experiments sit out to dry as he cleaned up and then flipped off the desk lamp with a switch when he was done. Turning on his fan for some white noise, he finally collasped on his bed and almost instantly fell into a deep sleep.

Seeing that Reilly didn't need anyone to really sign to communicate with her, Aiden rubbed the back of his neck. At least she didn't take any offense to him signing to her. And she liked to here his voice? Well that was something new he heard from anyone. The mess was gone, and so Aiden led Reilly over to his work table and showed his drawing to her. It was a sketch of an elaborate castle on the clouds with elaborate details; the bricks, the cracks in the bricks, the flags blowing in the wind, the gate, the vines and flowers on the vine growing up one of the castle's towers, someone looking out one of the castle windows, birds flying around, clouds in the background of the castle, and Maka's brain has reached it's limit of creativity, so she has no idea what else could be in the castle in the sky drawing. He looked up at Reilly, ready to take anything from her negative or not, or both. "I'm wondering if the castle looks... well, like a castle. Do you think there's too much detail? Or too little...? And I was thinking of maybe either coloring it in with colored pencil or maybe paint... What do you think?" After his talk with his father the day before, he was starting to lose a bit of faith in his creativity. Was he really cut out to be an artist like he had always envisioned? He got in this class though, that had to count as something. But his father wasn't convinced. His father needed concrete proof. Even then, Aiden wasn't sure his dad would accept him for what he wanted to do with his life. He didn't want to live under the control of his family. He loved them, but he was a different soul from the rest of them. It always made things a bit harder for him. The student was ready to learn from the teacher.

She hadn't had a listening ear since that day. The way he talked was odd, that was normal to hear. He could talk to her whenever he wanted to, assuming that someday he would have the courage to be upfront and say what was on his mind instead of using his drawings and psychology talk. For now, he was comfortable being the listening ear for anyone who needed it. She asked for his name, and he could've sworn he said it much earlier. But he wasn't going to point that out to her, not really. "I'm Aiden," he said, pushing away from the wall and followed the girl back to the classroom. "The quiet one that sits by the window all the time. It was nice talking to you Sasha..." He gave her a smile and then pushed through the door of the classroom once more. Before him was a scene of chaos. It seemed like one of the teacher aids split some paint water and was making lots of motions of frustration while cleaning it up. Again, his gut instinct kicked in and he grabbed a towel and even some paper towels and came over to help stop the water from spreading anywhere else. He knew who he was helping, he was helping his idol, Reilly. Aiden really liked her as a teacher's aid but really never communicated with her before. He'd always been too shy to ask for help. But he figured that the art world had critical eyes, and if he wanted to prove himself, he needed to step up to the mark, get some opinions and feedback from his mentors, and apply it to what he was doing. He did have that one question to ask her. When the watery mess was mostly stopped and almost cleaned up, he finally looked up and gave Reilly a wave and a smile. He then looked back to the soiled paper towels and gathered it all up and then wrapped those in more paper towels so they wouldn't drip all over the classroom before he dumped them in the nearest trashcan and came back over. Instead of moving right away to help again, he stared at the water that was swirling on the table and on the floor. It was making odd shapes, probably because of the lighting. He put his hand over the water without touching it to stop Reilly from cleaning it up right away and then said and signed, "This would be a really cool piece to paint. Paint and water mixed together on different surfaces... Or like, motor oil and water. I always thought it looked cool. Mom would get mad at me for staring at the road too long if we needed to get somewhere." Remember what Sasha told him about his speech being odd, he blushed and smiled nervously in embarrassment before he went back to finish what he was doing. "Um, Reilly," Aiden said and signed, his voice hesitant and quiet, much different from when he talked to Sasha. "I need some feedback on a drawing I'm working on... I need a critical eye. Can you take a look at it after we get this cleaned up?" He looked up at her, peering at his mentor from under his glasses. He was afraid, but he was trying so hard not to show it. Maybe it was the fear of rejection. Maybe it was that, or other things that were running through his mind.
