`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´The rain was falling down heavily in West Port, New Zealand. It seemed as if they little country was receiving the aftermath of the colossal storms from Australia, but it was quite mild compared to what had happened there. Nonetheless, swimming lessons were cut short, just to be on the safe side. "Grab all belongings, children!" Cora called out to both dressing rooms while standing out in the lobby. "No forgetting your things now." "Kay Teacher!" came an almost unison reply from both sides. The swim instructor smiled in satisfaction and folded her arms, watching as her students filed out of the dressing rooms one by one. Parents came in through the front, greeting their children with warm smiles and open arms. Then they were soon hurried out into the storm to their awaiting vehicles. No one really had time to talked to Miss Garza today, but Cora did not mind. She always received praises on almost a regular basis of how her students seem to learn quickly. On top of that, it stuck to their brains like sticky glue. Most of these students this time around were the result of pleased parents and her previous students. One parent told Cora that she should consider being a school teacher. Cora quietly accepted the suggestion, but she knew she would not fit in so well with those out of her element. Her accent was sometimes hard to understand. Though she could communicate with the children quite well, some of the adults couldn't help but to find her accent strange, and even poked fun at it from time to time. Soon, the public pool was emptied out. Cora was the only one left. She flipped the light switch off, put the strap of her duffel bag over one shoulder, and then ventured outside. There was a small porch to protect her from the elements, so she wasn't so worried about getting drenched just yet. As she was about to lock the door, she caught something in the corner of her eye and stopped. One of her students was sitting on a bench alone, staring at the rain with almost a look of sadness on her face. "Emily," Cora called to the girl, bringing her to attention, "come inside. You'll catch cold!" Emily puckered her bottom lip, obviously not pleased with Cora's idea. "But I wanna watch the rain, Teacher!" Cora was caught off guard, not use to being talked back to. Instead of getting angry, Cora observed that Emily wasn't sitting in the rain and she had her jacket on. She saw no harm with the two of them spending time watching the rain together. "Aye yi..." The Russian locked the pool door and slipped the key in her pocket before coming over to Emily who was back watching the rain intently. "May I join? I like rain too." Emily nodded her head and Cora plopped down on the bench, letting her duffel bag fall to the ground with a thud. ."Your mama iz late again, hm?" Emily was usually the last student to be picked up almost every week "She had to get groceries," the little girl said, swinging her legs as they dangled over the bench. "Ah, ve need to keep Emily's tummy full. " Cora smiled softly when the girl giggled, looking up at her teacher with a big toothy grin. "Teacher, why do you talk funny?" "Maybe iz you who zounds funny." Cora smirked. Emily giggled again and shook her head. "No! You sound different, Teacher. How come?" Cora hummed and rapped her fingers on her knees, leaning back on the bench. "I have vhat ve call accent."Emily gasped, her eyes suddenly wide. "You had an accident, Teacher?!" Cora let out a laugh, amused with the innocence of children. They never ceased to amaze her. "No, no! Accent, Emily. Accent. No accident. I talk like zoh because I come far away." Emily blinked at the older woman, not believing her ears. "How come you left your home?"Cora gazed at the gloomy sky, not looking at her pupil. Her story was not for young ears to hear at all. Emily didn't need to know how cruel the world could sometimes be. "It long story, little one. Zometimes, ve find hard to be happy in home. Zometimes, ve leave pleace ve born in to find new home."""Oh..." Emily fiddled with the hem of her coat, looking down at the sidewalk. "I'm glad your here teacher." "Zoh am I, Emily. Zoh am I.." A beep of a car horn caused the two to jolt. Emily's mother was here to pick her up. Emily said good bye to Cora and hurried through the rain, getting in the car out of the storm. Cora watched as mother and daughter drove away and waved. Her smile faltered and she bent down to pick up her dufflebag once more. She slung it over her shoulder and pulled out her umbrella from her jacket, popping it open and stepped out into the rain. She walked in silence, listening as the rain pattered above her. Suddenly, Cora felt a need to stop for a moment. She lowered her umbrella and tilted her face to the sky. She felt as the rain drops fell on her and closed her eyes. For some reason, as gloomy as it was, Cora always felt at peace when it rained... `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ ╔════════════════════════════╗Location★West Port, New ZealandDay★ [3/4]╚════════════════════════════╝
RECOGNIZE, LIMERICK. ONE CHANCE GRANTED. *beep boop beep*
Charles was dusting a picture frame, minding his own business when one of the children approached him. Hearing the word puzzles suddenly made him extremely interested. He turned around on one heel, facing Xyloh and grinned, putting the feather duster under one arm. "I would be happy to enlighten you with a riddle, my dear." It had been so dreadfully boring for the last two days, he wondered if these children were in fact... Children. Aside from the fact that Elly had stabbed Kyla with a fork at breakfast yesterday, that seemed to be the only thing that was interesting. But now, finally someone asked him for entertainment. He bowed and cleared his throat, searching for one that was stored in his brain somewhere. Coming up with one, he raised a finger in the air. "I am taken from a mine, and shut up in a wooden case, from which I am never released, and yet I am used by almost everybody. What am I?"
✴Day~49{2/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴ "Okay, I'm adding that to my list of the weirdest things happening around the world! First was the airplane crash with that 'He riseeees' message, an earthquake, another airplane crash, freak electric storms, people going nuts and killing everyone and everyone thought they were zombies, and then-" Elsie had to stop to take in a breath and then realized that she was rambling for really no reason. "S-Sorry," she said to others around her, trying to keep herself calm despite what had happened. Panicking wasn't exactly going to help in a situation like this; she had to be level headed. "Are you guys okay?" Elsie's body was shaking, looking back at the building. It had literally split in half as if two invisible hands dug into the hotel roof and tore it like a loaf of bread. Good thing she had packed everything in her jeep before she went for breakfast- 'Ah, nuts!' It was then she realized that she failed to grab her writing prompt journal. She wasn't going to go back to find it, even if it meant that she just lost some great ideas for future stories to right. What was she thinking?! This wasn't the time to be dwelling on stupid things like that! She was almost killed! Not only her, but others that she was having breakfast with just moments ago. She sighed out, rubbing her shoulders to try to comfort herself and calm the unsettling feeling that was trying to take over inside of her. "I hope no one was seriously hurt..."
0✴Day~49{2/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴Elsie saw that her breakfast group had left the building, all accept one. The one said that said that he slept through his birthday. There was a big freaking crack snaking its way towards him as if it might swallow him up if he didn't move. Biting her lower lip, Elsie made a last minute choice and dashed away from the safety of the door frame and back towards danger. She grabbed the guy by the arm and yanked him away. "Move!" Elsie dragged Adam towards the exit, getting him away from the floor that was splitting open before their eyes. She pushed Adam out of the door and to the outside before she moved out next to him and looked back. What in the world was happening...?

6✴Day~49{2/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴ Elsie's wrist was getting quite tired from writing and thus she had to stop writing whatever was flooding through that brain of hers. She sighed out and shook her hand out, looking around to see who all had come down for breakfast. There were some unfamiliar faces close by, and also one familiar face... Kai. Elsie smiled and waved to him, but before she could say anything, the ground shook. "Huh?" Elsie glanced around to make sure it wasn't just her who felt that. Then suddenly, everything began to shake violently, and Elsie knew what this meant. There was an earthquake. And on top of that, the ground was splitting and heading towards them. 'This ain't normal...' But what was in this crazy world? Elsie snatched her backpack and darted out of the way, losing her balance for a minute and fell to the floor. She forced herself up before she was trampled by the frightened people and quickly glanced around. She spotted a door that lead to the outside, the place where they needed to go. She got herself up and went over to Kai, putting a hand on his shoulder as she passed him. "Exit's that way! Get moving!" Elsie made it to the door and pushed it open, looking back to make sure the others that were around her earlier were moving. "Come on! Come on! MOVE!" Elsie stood in the door frame, avoiding the bits and pieces of ceiling that were starting to fall. "HURRY!"
✴Day~49{1/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴Again she had woken up early in the morning, again she was in the dining room eating breakfast. Again she had the notebook out, and was doing her daily writing prompt exercise. This time, Elsie Malone hoped she would not be delayed going to Sydney. She was going to wait until the sun would rise up enough to not shine directly in her eyes. She could have gone earlier that morning, but she didn't want the risk of a kangaroo jumping out in the middle of the road when it was dark, or any other wild exotic animal. She had left a note for Nasir, letting him know that she was planning to head out that morning a bit later and that he could either go with her to Sydney or he could go back to his home. The choice was up to him.Elsie had a have eaten bagel dangling out of her mouth, furiously writing again. Today's writing prompt challenge was "What would happen if the Princess kissed the frog and it turned into something other than a Prince?" Elsie had this one in the bag. She was whipping up a really interesting story, something she would thing about going back and embellishing and editing when she got back to Sydney. Finally, something that might become book material. Her editor was getting really impatient with her by now. In the back of her head, Elsie heard a voice speaking to someone."I slept through my birthday, actually. Did I miss anything important yesterday?"The distracted girl took the bagel out of her mouth and said, "Happy Belated Birthday." That happened to her sometimes. No one would actually be talking to her, but she would pick up on bits of conversation happening around her and respond to it without second thought. It was as if she was commentating on life around her, but she wouldn't actually be paying attention to what was happening. She was still writing away, muttering to herself when she would mess up and scratch out the word or error with her pen before continuing on. She absentmindedly took another bite of her breakfast before setting it on the plate, using her other hand to scrawl out what was playing out in her mind.

✴Day~48{4/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴The rest of the day was uneventful for Elsie Malone. Before she completely left the three boys to their own demise, she gave Nasir one of her room keys and told him he could spend the night in her room if he didn't do anything stupid. She had two beds after all in her room. Nasir could crash on one of them if he wanted to. Today, she went around town to learn of the history behind Birdsville, something she was meaning to do since she got here before the big storm hit. She was able to buy many books, get brochures, and even souvenirs of the place. Maybe someday one of her stories would take place in this small town, at least for a little while. After packing away her finds when she got back, she took another shower since the day was very warm and kind of gross, and then packed up everything else. She wanted to leave Birdsville as soon as possible and head back to the place she called home for the time being. Elsie was changed into her PJs and flopped on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. Her mind shifted all the way back to that morning, barely remembering the conversation that had taken place. Somehow, Kai and Logan had seemed familiar to her... She had never met them before in her life, but she felt like she knew them from somewhere. The same thing happened when her and Nasir had met. After she found him in a pretty bad state, she couldn't just leave him in the hospital alone. She stayed with him until he was well enough to head back home, and even then lingered around longer to make sure he would be alright. Elsie couldn't explain why she did what she did... All she knew was that she knew Nasir from somewhere and couldn't figure out where. The mystery was never solved when Elsie brought him back to health and it had been circling on her mind to this day. Suddenly feeling very tired, Elsie burrowed under her blankets and fell asleep; her mind still tossing and turning.
✴Day~48{3/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴"So your from America then. It's been a awhile since I've been there." "Born and raised!" Elsie grinned from ear to ear, proud of where she came from. Somewhat... "I hope they didn't get a freak storm there like we did over here. The world has been crazy lately. I've been keeping tabs on all the freak accidents, storms, people, so forth and blah, blah, blah." Elsie pulled up her backpack from under the table, setting it on her lap. "The world is going insane. I think it just had enough with us silly humans." She sighed, unzipping her backpack and slipped her writing prompt notebook in and zipped it back up. "Well, I don't want to keep you guys from enjoying breakfast. I'm planning to head out back to Sydney tomorrow, see if my apartment there is one piece." She smiled, only to suddenly remember something. "Oh yeah, Kai..." She pulled out a business card from the pocket of her shirt and handed it over to him. "That's my email, my cell number, and fax number. Though you won't be able to contact via fax right now because... well... I'm not there. Heh. I'm always happy to collaborate story ideas with other people, or help them with what they're working on." Elsie saluted to Kai and then stood up, slinging her backpack over her shoulder. "I hope we'll meet again. Good luck with your quest of finding the one you're looking for." She walked away from the table, waving at everyone as she skillfully walked backwards a few paces. "See ya. Nasir, I'm leaving, so I guess you can do whatever." She waved to him, spun around, grabbed a jelly filled donut, and then proceeded to walk to the exit of the dining room of the hotel.
✴Day~48{3/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴ Instead of getting a verbal reply like she was expecting, Elsie was passed a note from Kai. Curious, Elsie glanced over the words. She almost had to read one of the lines twice to make sure she read it right. "Shipwreck, what? That's insane!" She wondered if they were caught in the freak storm on the way here. It was hardly unbelievable that these people were caught in a shipwreck. They looked healthy and somewhat happy despite a big ordeal like that. The piece of paper was taken from her and Kai wrote something else to her, handing it over once more. "Heh, you're right. I do have an American accent. I can't hear it, but eh. I'm from Brookings, Oregon. It's on the west coast of the United States. It's really pretty there." She felt a little homesick just mentioning it. She had been away from home for nearly a year now and wondered when she was going to go back... If she ever went back. "I came to Australia to brush up on my creative writing skills, have been going to school in Sydney. But I don't stay in one place for long and I wanted to explore Australia a bit more... So that's how I got stuck here. But you guys were shipwrecked?" She still couldn't get her mind off that subject no matter how hard she tried to. "I hope no one got hurt... And that you guys find whoever you looking for. They sound pretty important if you guys came this far to look for them." Elsie didn't want to pry into personal matters too much. If she wasn't willing to tell everything about herself, she wasn't expecting anyone else to either or even try to push them to give her more information. She would be uncomfortable if she was put on the spot like that. Sort of wanting to change the subject, Elsie wanted to ask Kai why he was interested in her writing. He seemed curious of her daily writing exercise, or at least that's what Elsie concluded by the way he was hovering her earlier. But they had quite a crowd around them that probably wasn't interested in writing at all. She looked from Logan to Nasir, wondering what else was going to happen this eventful morning.
MEANWHILE IN THE MUSIC ROOM WHERE ELTON IS A CELLO APPEARED IN A GLOWING LIGHT, PROPPED UP AGAINST THE WALL. BUT ONE CAN APPEAR IN THE PIANO ROOM I GUESS. SORRY FOR THE MISUNDERSTANDING, MAKA WILL TRY TO DO BETTER TO MAKE THINGS CLEARER IN THE FUTURE. GOMEN... The usually shy girl looked up when Laurence made a move to stand up and follow, only to seem frozen and sit back down as if he was in some kind of pain. Instantly worried about the funny but strange man, Ainsley got up from her place at the breakfast table and came around to Laurence's side. "Are you okay, Laurence?" Ainsley asked in a quiet voice, her big eyes looking up at him. His choice of hat wear was really odd... [INSERT COOL BANNER SAXIMA MADE (I'll add it in tomorrow... or later)] The Dream Maker watched as Kyla chose to play the cello instead of the piano, which was an interesting surprise to her. Soon, the deep hum of the cello vibrated off the walls of the room, surrounding the Dream Maker in glorious music. The nightwear had indeed vanished and Kyla was dressed in concert style clothing. After the performance was over, she stood to her feet, clapping. "Bravo, bravo... That was absolutely marvelous." The Dream Maker stopped and nodded to Kyla with a smile on her lips. "Are you feeling better, Kyla.?" Jonquil hummed as he walked around the foyer of the mansion, taking out the somewhat wilted, dying flowers of their vases and handed them to his little assistant. "Tip toe, through the tulips, hm, hm, hmm, hmmm." He loved his job as a gardener; always tending to the flowers and plants around the mansion soothed his mind and nerves as well. Dream Maker loved the plants as well and was the one to ask for a fresh vase of flowers all around the mansion each day. He sighed out in content when the foyer of the mansion was complete. "It looks wonderful... Alright, let's head to the Music Room next," he said to the small boy and went to the door. But as he tried to open it, he found that it was locked. "Oh, how strange... Basil, did you do this?" Basil, the silent boy, shook his head furiously. He watched as Jonquil tried the door once more and then hummed in somewhat frustration. "Oh dear. Hello?" Jonquil rapped his knuckles on the Music Room door. "Is anyone there?" Basil shifted his eyes and looked down to the basket of wilted, dying flowers. It was sad to see such things happen. Basil wished that the flowers could live forever, but Dream Maker wanted things to be as natural as possible around here. "Mraow"Basil stiffened when the noise came from the chest of his kimono, his eyes wide. "Basil, how many times have I told you to keep that cat outside?" Jonquil scolded him. "You know Chef Tamsey doesn't like him around." The boy shrugged his shoulders, giving Jonquil a sheepish look, who just sighed and shook his head. Jonquil rapped his knuckles on the door once more, still attempting to get in. He didn't know there was a boy who wanted to be left alone in there
✴Day~48{3/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴ "It's amazing that you can tolerant him. You can call me Logan.""Nice to meet you, Logan," Elsie said with a smile. She shot Nasir a glance when he said he was going to play nice and then sighed out in relief. Well, maybe it was too soon for relief to sink in since Nasir was going to stick around, but at least he was going to keep his trap shut. Logan said something to Nasir about getting in line to get food, but somehow Elsie knew that Nasir wasn't going to budge. Elsie had somehow mistakenly gave Nasir a challenge instead of successfully shooing him off. Without a second though, she pushed her plate of food towards Nasir. "I only touched the bacon," she said with a grin and then looked at Logan. She had some questions that were just dying to be answered. 'Why do you and Kai have reddish eyes?' That was one of them, but she didn't want to say that out loud cause that would probably be rude. "Are you two with the big group of people that showed up last night?" she asked, resting her chin on her interlaced hands. "Why are you guys come out here anyways? The races are over. Then again, I'm here because I got stuck in the storm and this place was a lake a few days ago... But that's different." She laughed nervously, scratching the side of her head. That was a nervous habit of hers. "Sorry if I'm talking too much. You can tell me to shut up whenever... I get too nosy sometimes."
✴Day~48{2/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴"What are you a mute or somethin? Speak up"Elsie was not at all happy with the way Nasir addressed shy, awkward (but still cute) Kai. She grabbed what was in front of her and straight way leaned over the table and romped him on the head with the spiral side. "Knock it off, Nasir! Don't speak to Kai like that! He can be quiet if he wants to, you dummy." She sighed and plopped back in her chair, only to see that someone else joined the table. Two strangers, and one... er... friend. The new guy asked if he could join, and then Nasir immediately showed his distaste for him. "Actually yes, I do mind, I was in the middle of a conversation with this mime here, so if you could kindly piss off that'd be lovely."The young girl opened her mouth to say something, but the new guy beat her to it. "First, who the hell are you and why should I give a damn what you think. Second I was talking to Kai over here. Now is that all that you had to say or are you going to continue and keep me from my meal?"Elsie was chewing the inside of her cheek, not at all happy with the tension in the air. They were starting to get weird looks from the other guests eating breakfast as if a fight was about to break out. Despite wanting to lash out at the two boys at the table, Elsie raised her hands up. "Whoa everyone, let's just settle down." She gestured with her hands to take it down a notch and then pressed her thumb and middle fingers together, palm facing up as if she was a monk trying to meditate. "Kumbaya... Peace... Everyone breathe... Now," Elsie took in a big breath while lowering her hands, and looked at the new guy at the table with an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that, Nasir is very rude to everyone and never learns from it. Which he takes as a compliment. Nasir, how many times do I have to tell you 'If you don't say something nice, don't say anything at all?' You're going to get killed someday..." Her emerald eyes flickered with seriousness as she looked at the white haired male. He had gone through a lot, she knew that, but that didn't give him the excuse to insult everyone he met.She sighed out, massaging her temples. "I'm sorry, I'm Elsie by the way," she said to the oddly colored eyed man. He had a red eye, and a blue eye... What was with these new people and reddish looking eyes? "Nasir... I guess we say goodbye for now?" Not wanting him to get hurt, Elsie really wanted him to leave now. If he didn't want to hang out with her and play nice with the people around her, it was better if he was out doing his "business" then being cooped up inside and swearing at everyone he talked to.
✴Day~48{2/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴ The young woman continued to scrawl on the notepad, hardly stopping. With her free hand, she picked up a piece of bacon and nibbled it. She wasn't aware she was feeding herself. In fact, she was so engrossed in what she was doing, she almost didn't notice someone hovering over her... Then again, she did. Elsie turned her head slowly as the presence lingered over her, instinctively covered what she was writing with her arm. Her eyes landed on a brunette, but cute, guy that seemed around her age. He had the coolest, but strangest reddish-brown eyes she had ever seen. But despite that... "Um, hi? May I help you?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. She had met many, many weird people on her secret book tours around the world, so this incident didn't bug her too much. She just hated people to hover as she wrote. Instead of getting a verbal response, the guy pulled up a chair and his own notebook out, scrawling something down. She watched and then was handed a piece of paper, which she read. It was a bit odd to communicate, but Elsie didn't want to ask why. She was afraid she was going to stumble on a sensitive subject of some kind. "Kai, eh?" she said with a smile, glancing back up at him. "Nice to meet you, I'm Elsie. I always like to meet fellow writers." She grinned and let the pen fall on the table before she glanced down at her notebook. "What I'm working on is a silly writer's prompt." She chuckled nervously, and rubbed the back of her neck. "Just a little exercise I do every morning. They kind of suck..." She left out the fact that she was a renown author. She never, ever told anyone her secret identity ever. She didn't want that kind of fame. She had only told one person in her life what she had done, but that person promised to keep things under lock and key. "So, uh, what do you work on Kai-?" Elsie was suddenly interrupted when her notebook was nudged under her arm and instantly sent a glare towards the culprit. "Yo Blondie, didn't expect to see you here, gonna introduce me to your boyfriend?"Elsie's jaw fell open. She couldn't believe who she was seeing. "Nasir?! What are you doing here?!" She stood up from the table and bounded around to where Nasir had plopped himself down and gave him a big hug, something he always hated. "You came! You actually came. Oh my gosh... This is a weird happenstance! I can't believe it!" she clapped her hands together in glee before she remembered someone else was with them. "Oh yeah, Nasir, this is Kai. Kai, this is Nasir. My friend who's suppose to be in Papua New Guinea but is somehow here... You're not stalking me, are you Nasir? That would be really weird..." She walked back over to her seat and plopped back down, closing up her writing prompt notebook.
The Dream Maker smiled when Xyloh was insistant on giving her a name. It was very sweet of her to do something like that. "Rose... I'd match the names of my gardeners," she said with a laugh. "But I like it. Rose my name shall be." Soon breakfast was served to everyone thanks to Chef Tamsey and his crew of chickens. She watched as everyone seemed to be enjoying their plate of food that was brought out to them, even Elton. She was served toast with butter and blue berries and strawberries with cream. She did not touch her food just yet, for two had walked in; Kyla and Leah. "All is forgiven. Please, help yourself to breakfast.""They don't bring out chicken dishes do they?"Dream Maker smiled and shook her head as she grabbed a fork and a knife. "No, they don't bring out chicken dishes. Chef Tamsey does." Suddenly, the cheery atmosphere was disruptive by a string of insults from Elton, and also to add on that, a violent outburst. Dream Maker watched unflinchingly as Elton stabbed Kyla's hand with a fork. Dream Maker, or Rose, was then address by Elton by something much more respective then the night before. She observed as Elton placed an orange lily next to Kyla's injured hand. She neither smiled or frowned. ◖ ❀ Your chef is a very good cook. Thank you for the meal. ◗"Thank you for joining us for breakfast..." She watched as Elton left, then Kyla as she pulled the fork out of her hand and then she too also left. Dream Maker sighed, setting down her utensils. "Just as we were all getting along... Or at least tolerating one another." Dream Maker saw that Samantha had come in with Mr. Bear and asked if she could have more. Her lips curled up ever so slightly before she waved her hand to the kitchen. "Chef Tamsey will be right out to serve you, dear." She then pushed away from the table and stood up. "Thank you for coming to breakfast. Enjoy your meal, children. I have some matters to attend to." And with that, Dream Maker bowed to everyone and then left the dining room. Meanwhile, Chef Tamsey came out with the meal that Samantha and Mr. Bear had in mind and served them up before bowing and taking the abandoned plates away from the table and back into the kitchen. Ainsley hardly touched her food after she witnessed what had just transpired. Her shoulders were stiff and rigid. That was why they were given plastic sporks in the hospital instead of fancy forks, knives, and spoons so stuff like this didn't happen. But, alas, it did happen. She looked around as the quiet hum of breakfast resumed, but then felt very uneasy. If this was a dream world, why didn't it seem nice? Why did it seem so mean? The Dream Maker entered the piano room when Kyla was emotionally numb to the core, her eyes showing pity to the girl at the piano. "Oh dear, we can't please everyone, can we?" She came over to Kyla and sat by her on the piano bench. Her long, slender fingers gently glided across the keys without making a sound. "Quite a beautiful thing, music is." She glanced at Kyla and then at the bandaged hand. "May I see?" But instead of waiting for Kyla to hand her hand over to her, Dream Maker gently took the injured hand within her own. A soft, warm glow encircled the girl's hand, restoring it to it's former glory if not better. "There, much better, hm?" Dream Maker placed her hands in her lap and then looked at the keys. "Could you play me a lovely melody dear?" MEANWHILE IN THE MUSIC ROOM, A CELLO APPEARED IN A GLOWING LIGHT, PROPPED UP AGAINST THE WALL. *goes to die in bed now*
✴Day~48{1/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁✴ Elsie inhaled deeply, happy for the nice, warm morning that seemed just around the corner. It was a relief after all the rain they had been receiving for days. Now it was the time for sunshine and blue skies. But, she couldn't let herself get distracted. Elsie made sure that her hotel room was locked behind her and then checked to see if she had everything she needed for her morning routine in her backpack. Silly, she should have done the backpack searching first before she locked up her room. But, seeing that she had everything in place and nothing was left behind, Elsie slung the backpack over her shoulders and headed down to breakfast. As soon as she walked in the dining room, her nose was overcome by the many smells of breakfast foods floating in the air. She went and got her food and at a table for two next to the window so she could look outside ever so often to somehow get inspiration if she needed it. After setting her backpack next to her and unzipping it, she pulled out a notebook and her phone. She then pulled a pen from behind her ears and set it next to everything. "Okay, I think I got everything in order," she said to herself, looking down at everything. She then flipped her notebook open to a blank page and opened her phone to a writing prompt app. "Show me what you got today." The screen flashed, and the words scrolled across the screen: "I couldn't find the glue, so I..." Elsie hummed to herself as she picked up her pen and in her other hand a cup of orange juice. "That's a toughy. Let's do this..." Elsie began to scrawl whatever came to her mind on the lined paper, letting her brain work hard and go to town.
✴Day~46{4/4}☁Location~Birdsville, Australia☁ Wednesday, November 7th, 2013✴ Elsie finished up dinner and went to bed. After she digested her food and locked her bike in her room, because she just had a gut feeling that nothing was safe out in the open in Australia. And in New Zeland, Cora ended her class after reviving some kids after they sorta drowned, went home, took a shower, changed into PJ's, drank some vodka, and passed out on her bed. That was the end of Cora's day.
"I like your tattoos, they are neat looking um... do you have a name I could call you?""I have no name." The Dream Maker simply said. "I have never had a proper name given to me. I am usually called Mother, Dream Maker, Goddess, Angel, whatever comes to everyone's mind. As for the tattoo, I'll show you a secret." The Dream Maker tapped on it, showing that it dangled away from her skin. "It's just an earring. Sometimes it can be mistaken for a tattoo though." When Leon walked on in, Dream Maker was even more pleased than ever. Everyone was not so afraid after. "Good morning, Leon. It's nice to see you and everyone else." Dream Maker left Trevor alone, simply knowing that the way he sat away from everyone the poor lad was still trying to make sense of this place. And she knew Kyle did not trust her, so she left him alone as well. Just as long as they were both comfortable as possible, she was fine with it. "Good morning, Analise." Ainsley hunched her shoulders as more and more people began to file in. So many people were showing up for breakfast. It wasn't anything Ainsley was entirely expecting. She thought she would be the only one here. Her eyes lit up when she saw Kyle, smiling at him when he came in and sat down right next to her. For once in her life since her head injury, she felt as if she made a friend. "You know, I still owe you that game of pool.""I don't think I would be good at it," Ainsley said while fiddling with the sleeves of her dress. "But I can try!" She grinned up at Kyle, just wanting to please him. Pool probably wouldn't be as bad as she thought it was. The doors to the kitchen burst open and the smell of breakfast came in like a wave through the open door. "Ah! Hello everyone! Breakfast is served." Chef Tamsey clapped his hands and out around him came at least eight large chickens, each standing to about three feet tall and dressed in little cute aprons and hats. The chickens clucked as they walked out, each of them holding a plate of food. They served everyone who was at the table exactly what they wanted and then clucked and bawked all the way back to the kitchen as Chef Tamsey moved around with his plates and drinks to serve everyone. "If you desire anything else, I Chef Tamsey will gladly serve you whatever you want." He bowed after he served Dream Maker last and twirled back into the kitchen, disappearing with his mutant chickens.
