I remember long ago when I watched Japanese game shows. It lead me to believe that all Japanese were silly and fun loving. I also remember watching Dante's Peak as a kid. It scared the hell out of me and I was afraid to swim in pools. But still, even though I'm not a kid anymore, I and other people will still get influenced my media in this way. One of the most bashed celebrities in media is Michel Jackson. You can't go anywhere without seeing something that's making fun of him.
