He suddenly withdrew his wings, wrapping them around himself like a shield. Despite this, he continued to move forward rapidly, looking almost like a torpedo as he approached Sakuraya and her rose...
Venero smirked, releasing powerful gusts of wind that tore open the vines that binded him. He rushed at Sakuraya, smiling all the while. Engulfing himself in light, he sped towards her, prepared for a head-on blow.
OOC: So sorry Hidden! And I don't really know how to help ya there, Gambler. Maybe you pressed something on the keyboard? That happened to me once. BIC: Sakuraya at least had the pleasure of Venero's surprise, but he acted quickly. Spamming his speed, he could barely be seen as he avoided the petals. Having survived through the storm of sharp projectiles, he landed lightly on the arena, chuckling triumphantly. His moment was interrupted by a pang of slight pain. Looking over himself, he noticed that he had not made it by unscathed. He had a small series of crimson cuts around his arms and legs. Muttering to himself angrily, he glared at Sakuraya, "That's the only chance of a hit you'll be getting from me." he growled. He took out a few more of his feathers, throwing them at her. A stray feather collided with the ground next to Sakuraya, and it exploded, leaving a petty crater. The other feathers were shooting towards her... OOC: :/ Long post...

Tengi was aimlessly walking around, drinking a juice box. "There are a lot of new faces here! I can't wait to meet them." she smiled.
Venero dodged them all so quickly that you could barely see his movements. For a few of the rocks, however, he used his wings to knock them back towards Sakuraya. OOC: Gotta go...
OOC: I like Hidden's ideas! But don't you think we should discuss it a little more though, y'know, before making the thread? Unless you guys have made the plot and decided how things are gonna work...
The tornado continued, eventually wrapping around the poison ivy. Now it was a poisonous, swirling vortex of doom. Not to mention it was still heading for Sakuraya. Venero had been watching from behind her, and had just now decided to mock her, "Just give up. This will only cause you pain. Quit while you'll never be ahead." He rapidly drew a few of his feathers, throwing them at Sakuraya. One of them just barely missed her, slicing through a strand of her hair.
"My pleasure." Venero replied, and with a flap of his wings he blew away the petals. He began to spin around faster and faster until he created an ever-growing tornado, heading straight for Sakuraya...

"Hmph. How unfortunate." Venero sighed, turning to Sakuraya and smirking, "For you, I mean." He swiftly removed the cloak he was wearing, revealing his white robes and large, white wings. "You may try and strike first."
Venero chuckled again, "That will only lead to more suffering..." he warned.
Venero stopped walking, looking back at Sakuraya, "Just do not interfere with the Akuma Choujin." he replied, continuing to walk.
OOC: The internetz just has that effect on people...
Venero chuckled, "We'll see soon enough." he muttered as he began to walk away.
OOC: A little patience never hurt anyone. BIC: "My title is Venero of the Skies. But you, lass, may call me Venero." he smiled warmly at Sakuraya, "You'd best not interrupt. You'd only get yourself hurt..."
