No. I refered to the dark memories introduced in Reverse/Rebirth. All it would have taken to produce Xion is the memory of Kairi materialized and then the darkness would have made it a dark memory. Not being the real Kairi it would be possible to happen. Though Im presenting a possibility that Xion actually is based on Kairi. Similar case to that of the Goodluck Charm transforming into another charm, so maybe Kairi was transformed into Xion. But then again, you might be right. Maybe it needs someone to do this. I dont see Namine doing it, because she tries to make Sora remember. Maybe it is just naturally happened, because Sora´s heart is connected to Kairi´s so actually Sora made Kairi into Xion :P Note the date when Xion enters the organization. It´s after Roxas has entered. Being Kairi´s nobody you would expect her to appear same time with Roxas.

Here´s my theory. Xion isnt a nobody :) What Xion really is is a memory that has leaked out. It is Sora´s memory of Kairi, which has been possessed by darkness(hence the black hair). Remember the dark memories explained in Reverse/Rebirth. Memories really can materialize as proven in Chain of Memories. Namine made the goodluck charm from a false memory. Duh, edited it, but still a memory was made reality. Xion: "I cant disappear now..." I cant see a nobody saying that, because something that is real cant just disappear. Maybe Xion must disappear from the world, so Sora can retain his memory of Kairi. The keyblade of hers would be made from a memory also. So to put it simple: Sora cant remember Kairi without Xion going back to Sora´s heart. P.S. We could also have a new enemy. Memories from the destroyed hearts, right? P.S.p.s. Xion might be the emoest person we´ve ever seen in a KH-game.

Woah.. You dont know? Well, firstly Kairi´s heart was inside Sora. Seeing the random castle made Kairi´s heart remember the castle of Hollow Bastion. So it was actually Kairi´s memory, not Sora´s.
