Just putting it out there* So, apparently, some people believe that a razor beam emitted from a satalite struck the towers, causing them to fall. Most types of light are not in wavelengths visible to the human eye, so that *would* explain why no one saw a razor beam... Also, from the wreckage, it looked inconsistent with how one would expect it to look [not sure how, cant remember its been a while since my uncle told me...] And that wouldve caused them togo straight down instead of goign to the side or something... AGAIN, this is not what I believe, so dont direct your AHHH ANTIAMERICAN sentiments towards me. This is comming from my racist bigot of an uncle who thinks the halocaust didnt happen ._. Awww xDDD why thank you. That bird HATES ME. I dont know if anyone here is familiar with parrots, but theyve got this thing about them: they choose whether or not they like you. My girl bird [Niobe, yes from the matrix...her name now is Peapod :3] Anyway, she loves me! She likes my mom, but Im her human :3 We'll sit on the couch together for hours, shes just content to bein my company. Birds show affection. I never knew before owning one, but theyre just as loveable/loving as dogs! Oh and its so cute, they ahave eyelashes xD IDK why but I find it so adorable . Anyway, Neo[Blue man] HATES ME with a passion. Hes always trying to takea chunk out of me D:! Theyre surprisingly brazin for being so tiny!!! Hes just so damn cute though, so luckily for him I can never get mad at him Ive gotten good at dodging his blows, he'll draw blood! Ive got a few scars on my hand to prove it I really want to get a hyacinth [through adoption] but I mean theyre the BIGGEST parrots...besides the palm cockatoo, no other parrot has such a big beak ._. Bruckheimer wants to do a 4th. I have not yet officially confirmed this, but Ive heard it. Now the ACTORS wanting to do another, that is a completely different story. Anyway: For some clarification regarding Elizabeth & Will Okay so you know how I said that before? Well watching the movie for as second time only confirmed it. See, Gibbs said that you only see that flash of green when a soul is brought back from the dead. Well, at the end of the movie, there IS a flash of green as Will is returning. That means he can EITHER stay with elizabeth/son OR he can go back out to sea with the dutchman. Who will be the new captain, I do not know. However, the reason why Jones was bound to it for eternity was Calypso's doing. She charged him with the duty of ferrying souls to the next world. Since he had such an important job, he could only come to land once every ten years etc...When she broke his heart by cheating on him, he started not doing his job. 'His purpose had been corrupted, and thus he became corrupted too' as they said in the movie. So a curse was put upon him, the crew and the ship. To punish Calypso, he had her bound in human form [because he knew she'd hate it] Its really sad if you actually think about it ;___; To clarify about the Kraken: I had origionally thought that Jones killed the Kraken, and the producers were trying to show us how evil Jones had gotten because even his own monster wasnt bad enough. HOWEVER: upon watching the movie a second time, I noticed that I had been partially right. Jones did kill the Kraken. but AT BECKETTS ORDERS! See he was talking about Jones distroying the ships, and he needed to interrogate people. but they were always dead because Jones oblitterated the ships. Well he made reference to Jones' "pet" [meaning the Kraken] and how thats why Beckett made Davy kill it [because it completely destroyed the ships] I noticed a bunch of little things I hadent seen before, one in particular that I thought was funny: At the end, when the crew goes up to Barbossa to say they felt guilty&such, I noticed Ragetti was carving himself another eye out of wood xDDD Honestly, I think thats for the viewer to interpret. I personally saw it as he gave up because Davy Jones had gotten killed. Even though Beckett treated him like crap, I think he knew exactly how powerful Jones was. And with him dead, it was pointless to continue because he would have no control over the seas anymore... IDK thats what I thought about it. I could be totally wrong :3 You bring up something very interesting. Remember why Jacks crew mutinied before? He promised to show them something, JUST as Barbossa does at the end of this movie. I think youre onto something... I want a 4th movie. I really do; my only forseeable problem is Davy Jones. He was the enemy of ALL enemies. Larger than life, if youwill. So, how exactly do they plan to create something more frightening, more evil than him? Ponce de Leon isnt exactly a fierce tentacle-y creature thats a heartless monster. Part of the ingeniousness with Davy Jones, is that viewers actually take pity on him. While he has this tough side, he also has a pathetic, weak side to him as well. I think thats part of the cleverness ofthe 2nd&3rd movies. I just dont see how you could create a villain thats more monumental than the 'sea' itself...
