Kiburedo fallowed Destiny down the steps in a more dignified manner this time, with one hand on the rail and the other in his pocket. "Yo Trace! What's cooking?" As he got to the bottom, he ruffled Destiny's hair a bit before taking a seat on the couch. "I'm glad you're cooking. Your meals are always pretty good." He said as he grabbed the remote. He pressed a button, and the TV Turned on with a click. "You ok?" He called out after hearing Trace's yell.
Kiburedo chuckled a little. "This reminds me of the time you fell out of the tree... and when you fell from the swing.... and when you were walking on the fence and lost your balance... well you get the point. You're lucky I was there to help you up." He helped her to her feet. "Shall we be one our way?" He asked.
"We'll be down in a minute!" Kiburedo yelled down to Trace. He kneeled down besides Destiny. "You're so clumsy." He said as he held out his hand to help her up.
Kiburedo turned around and looked at her. "Sure. There's nothing like a game before a meal. got something in mind?" He asked.
"Don't worry. Just keep it hidden well. I'm sure they won't find out. Now, let's go downstairs. I think Trace is making breakfast." He said with a smile. Kiburedo stepped to the side and motioned his arms towards the staircase. "After you."
"Spark huh? That's a good name. I was never too good with names... I had to use someone elses name for my cat..." He shifted his vision from the animal and looked up at Destiny, who was staring at the ground. "Sorry... did it sound like I was teasing you? I didn't mean too.... I'm glad you keep something like this around. It'd be depressing as your big brother to know that you've grown up too much while I was gone... But I guess adults can enjoy childish things too. Just look at me, I still collect comics and watch cartoons. It's nothing to be ashamed of.... although, I still wouldn't let Tularim or Sadden know about it." He said with a sincere smile.
Kiburedo stared at the doll for a couple of seconds. "A stuffed animal...? That's.... so cute!" He smiled and patted her on the head. "How precious, you haven't changed a bit!" He chuckled and looked down at the doll. "So does it have a name?"
"Oh... I understand..." Kiburedo looked at the ground. "So you don't even trust your big brother anymore...? Have we really grown that much apart...?" He sniffled a little and started to back away. "I see how it is... I have been away for a while I guess.... but still.... that's kinda cruel..."
"Suspicious!" Kiburedo said as he started to walk around her. "Is it something embarassing? c' mon, let me see!" He tried to maneuver behind her so he could get a good look at whatever it was she was holding.
Kiburedo Looked at Destiny with a puzzled look on his face. "Say... What's that you've got there?" He asked as he walked towards her. She seemed to have something behind her back.
Kiburedo covered his ears. "Seriously.... how can you guys listen to that stuff...?" He gave a soft sigh and headed up stairs. "Are you done yet Destiny?" He scratched the back of his head. "It's boring with everyone asleep. Let's play a game or something!" Kiburedo chuckled. He remembered the games that they used to play when they were younger. "Those were the days..." He said to himself softly.
"I don't know... It seems like everyone's still asleep. But I think they packed overnight. Anyway, I'll be waiting downstairs. When you're ready give your suitcase to me and I'll go put it in Last's car." Kiburedo ran to the end of the hallway and jumped down the stairs. "Hya hoo!!" He yelled enthusiastically before landing on the ground. "This is gonna be great!" He said with a smile.
Kiburedo gently knocked on Destiny's room. "Aren't you done packing yet? You better not be taking alot of stuff 'cuz I'm not gonna carry it for you.... Last things we need is extra weight to haul around." Kiburedo said as he leaned against the wall in the hallway and bit off a peice of his toast.
