Why not find out, because I've got nothing better to do right now. *takes test and gets answer* I managed to get Squall. Actually pretty close to be honest. Always felt like he resembled me a little. Give it a try if you want
I ended up buying both Lost Odyssey and Infinite Undiscovery. While I wasn't planning on buying the second, it was cheap enough, and if I don't end up liking it, I can just return it and get a refund. Although I think I'm willing to give it a try, since I don't play many real-time RPGs, since I think Kingdom Hearts, Rogue Galaxy, and Force Unleashed are the only real-time RPG games I've played. I'm willing to give it a try and get better at it. Lost Odyssey is a little strange though, and I'm sure it'll take a while for me to get used to it. I'm surprised both of them are multiple disks, although Infinite Undiscovery is only 2 while Lost Odyssey is 4. And I still plan on getting Dragon Quest VIII, but since I don't plan on buying anything else for a long while, since I want to save my money and these games will keep me busy, I can afford to get these 3 games.
Rule #1: Always listen to Buck Rule #2: Always stay in the middle of the path Rule #3: He who has gas, travels at the back of the pack Rule #4: Now let's go find your friend Rule #5: Says you ignore Rule #2 when there's a female involved. Or one of those cute little puppies.
What is it you might ask? It's my first paycheck of course. And it's a purty sight to look at
So I get my first paycheck on Friday (which is awesome to say. I can't get over that) and I wanted some third-party opinions on what game(s), if any, I should buy from this list I've come up with. I could buy more games for my 3DS, but I'm pretty sure for the most part, besides Legend of Zelda and Pokemon X/Y, it'll be a while before I go looking on purpose for any more games on that handheld. Back on topic though, this is the list I came up with for games. Some I've played a bit of, others I've heard about: Dragon Quest VIII: Journey Of the Cursed King Xenosaga (preferably the first, if it makes the story better) Final Fantasy VII (On steam) Growlanser Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis Star Ocean: Till the End of Time They're mostly PS2 games, but that's just because right now I don't plan on spending too much, because I need to budget for gas money, school, car insurance, and the like. I can start saving for a PS4 later as well, and get PS3 games on the cloud system. A lot of these games interest me, and I've played a little of Dragon Quest, as well as about 10 minutes of the 2nd Xenosaga (library games are crap and don't play well), and the last 4 I've heard/read about, and they seem interesting as well. If you guys could help me out here, it'd help, because I can't just buy all of them, and it'd be good to get opinions on how others think about these games.
And I'm trying to decide if I'm either happy or sad that I'm not on any of those lists. It's a tough choice when it comes to these awards. Although at this point, there might as well be a topic like "most nominations" or whatever. Too bad that would only work after the awards were put out.
And working at a cash register is not nearly as terrifying as driving a car for the first time. The most you have to worry about with the register is going to slow for the people because you're completely new and having a line form. But of course, that's why other people are there to help you, since it wouldn't be good having a line that stretches from one side of the store to the other. On the topic as well, with a slight seriousness to this, I doubt I'll be able to post as much as I have been (ok, it's not that much either, but you get my drift), considering that a lot of days I'll be working around 7-8 hours. There are some days I have only 4 hours of work, and of course off days, so I'll be one, but just letting you guys know in a nice way where I can drag on completely and not have to be as serious as a departure thread, because there's no way I'm leaving just yet. You haven't gotten rid of me, and you won't for a long time.
I know we've had a few discussions on Introverts and Extroverts, but I wanted to bring this into the topic as well. My mom sent me it because she thought that I would find it very amusing, and I must say, I did. Especially the first part where he puts "...won't shut up for days." I personally found that very amusing and actually laughed at it, because it's true. Now I try to usually put some kind of thing before the discussion starts to put a point into this, but most of us already know what we need to about the introvert/extrovert stuff, and we pretty much know which one we are, so I wanted to ask what you guys felt about this particular blog, and your views on these myths and what he put for each one. I would personally agree with all of them, maybe only to some extent with some, but for the sake of saying what I agree with in the general sense, I'm just saying "all". I think it's pretty true what he put with these, especially about the "Introverts are rude", "Introverts are weird", as well as "Introverts don't know how to relax and have fun". (Which I completely disagree with. I've been told I can be plenty fun)
Tell me, is there usually this much to read when you get a new job? Or am I just incredibly unlucky with the amount I have to read for anything?
I was watching an episode of Bones, S01E19, and something very interesting was said in the episode. They were talking about voodoo, and the dark magic in it and such, and a character said "it's magic is more powerful than ours." After than, the father of the character said "Destruction is easier than Harmony, not more powerful", and I thought this was a very interesting point. We see good and bad fighting in all sorts of ways, especially in shows like Star Wars, Kingdom hearts of course, Yugioh, Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings, and more, and we always see that people who are on the evil side consider it the most powerful, but at the same time, we've seen that the good can always triumph. Heck, we even see it in normal life, whether it's just a person being nice to someone while another person is being a complete jerk, or something bigger, like trying to fight against groups that oppose the innocent and beat them down to take over. I find this phrase interesting, because it has a lot of truth to it. While many believe the evil path to be more powerful and better to use, we've seen that it's also a lot easier to fall into, instead of staying the course on a good path; as well as evil having a much easier time doing what they do, and the good have a lot of trouble, but they still manage in the end. I was wondering what your guy's view on this was. I found it quite interesting because it's just another thing from one of the many religions that relates to the real world no matter where you are or what religion you are.
I just watched episode 308, and even though I knew it was coming, I still couldn't help but feel sorry for our favorite pale-skinned character.
Ok, so I was listening to Lachrimae the other day, and I felt like I hadn't made a video in a long time (which is pretty true), and I also figured I could try to work on making videos with voices, like in trailers, so I made this to work on that. I tried to go about this either as a movie sort of thing, or as a giant compilation trailer including a bit of every game (some more than others), and trying to set a sort of darker feel to it, hence why I put "Despair" in the video title. I know I didn't make it perfect, and some of the scenes have a slight music to them, but I thought they fit well enough, and that the Lachrimae drowned it out enough. It only happened 3 times as much as I can think of, but please tell me what you guys think, I haven't made a video in a while, especially like this, and I was hoping you guys could let me know. I also kinda see it as being 2 trailers, but the song gets a bit quite in the middle, and I figured I should just use the whole thing, because the end is where it gets really good (you guys should all know the end. If you don't you need to remember a Leonardo Dicaprio trailer we all enjoyed)
Probably going to be a little shaky for a while, but at least I can finally get back online again. Now I can do something to entertain myself. I've found it fairly rough to do that this past week. Oh, and I also got my permit. So I can officially and legally drive a car now. Although that's not going to happen till I learn more. No way I'm taking any chances. Plus I learned there's a lot of BS that has to do with getting your permit.
Thought that since I'm on a computer right now, I'd let you guys know what's going on, since I'm going to get a lot busier lately...and I'm waiting for my mom so we can pay for a drawing lesson. 1: I have an orientation at Target on the 12th, so I finally get to start a job. And while it's only $8 an hour, it's still something. Plus I'll finally be able to buy games when they come out, as well as a PS3..or PS4, depending on how I feel. 2: Getting enrolled for a drawing class at Houston Community College, so hopefully I'll finally be able to draw something that doesn't look like literal crap. 3: Started Drivers Ed yesterday, and I'm taking it from 1pm-3pm Monday through Thursday till the end of the month, so I'll finally be able to get my license soon and drive. And we also get wifi at our house on Friday, so I can finally start doing things again. Lately I've just been killing time doing emulations and playing my 3DS. If we could put a tv up I would be playing our PS2, since i've been craving to play ALL of my games at least a little bit, but we don't have anything to keep it on the stand, so poopie to that. And I highly doubt that anyone will actually reply to this, but it's more so in case anyone wonders why I haven't spammed in a little while, and at least I managed to let to RPs I'm in know I'm not able to do anything yet. We were actually supposed to have wifi and tv today, but for some reason that I'm unaware of, they pushed it back to Friday, so that's annoying. That concludes my update for the website that doesn't give a crap on my life. Thank you very much. Have a nice day.
So the good news is I got incredibly lucky today. I went to Target for my interview and I actually ended up getting a job offer. I managed to get a job offer with the very first place i got an interview at in Texas...believe me, I didn't not expect that to happen when I went int. And I will say, I was pretty nervous. I think it was mostly because I had more of a chance this time than last times because I have work experience this time. The job will pay $8/hour, which I'm actually fine with, since I put in $7.50 on the application, and I'll be working on the Sales Floor - Hardsales. While I didn't get the job at Gamestop, as much as I wanted it, I can still go there whenever I want to buy something and get to know the people there. Although I don't plan on leaving Target for a long time because who knows how much luck I'll have searching for a new job, or if it'll even be as good an opportunity. And the bad news that might give you nightmares? I just cleaned one of scariest bathrooms I've seen in my life. If you haven't seen a dirty bathroom in someone's house, or much of a dirty bathroom at all (restaurants and such don't count), than you don't want to see this. I was cleaning it and shaking the whole time because I have not seen such a scary scene in anyone's house. These people we're staying with are nice, but even at Bosch, which had well over 100 people about 1/3 of the sessions, and while they made dirty bathrooms......
Ok, so I just started a new game on my game, and the thought crossed my mind if there was any easier way to get a bunch of LP. I know that touching the spirit with your stylus gets you practically nothing and you get nowhere quickly, and using food might work somewhat but they still take a while to eat the food, and that's limit, the balloon game somewhat works, but it's not really fast per-se, and attacking a bunch of enemies just gets tedious. So is there any fast way? Or am I stuck just doing basically what I listed? Because there are commands on some spirits I have that I want to get quickly, but at the same time I don't want to use the spirits themselves, so I want to get through them quickly.
I remember posting a ton of threads a while back with comics upon comics because...well, because I could, but for some reason I feel like breaking that number. So someone lay it on me, and I swear, if you lay anything but numbers...or Matsuri Kudo...I will hunt you down and murder you in sweet, touching, awesome, upsetting, and emotional scene just like a certain anime character we know that has awesome sunglasses.
If the producer of G.I. Joe: Retaliation is planning on having a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover....how would that work? Sure they're both Hasbro, but are they officially even in the same universe? Although, I guess if they did it would put them in the same universe, but I don't know how G.I. Joe wouldn't know of Transformers if they were in the same universe; my mind has officially been confuzzled
Don't believe me? Take a look at this You thought I was talking about the song no one enjoys didn't you? Well, if you want it that badly...
I feel like everyone else goes around looking for apps for this site while I sit around looking and wasting life on useless stuff...now excuse me while I sit around looking and wasting life on useless stuff even more
