Xero raised an eyebrow at Kaxar for a moment as she spoke to her. She chewed at the popsicle stick a little before she spoke, "Eh, the norm." She said, "Slackin' off, doing whatever I want." She didn't know if Kaxar knew that she was apart of another "Organization" now or not. She highly doubted it though, even if she did know, Xero would have to play it off anyway. Xero then remembered about Gexln and how she knew him too looked at Kaxar once again, "Sooo... I haven't seen your boyfriend in a while." She cockily mocked while put on an act not knowing of Gexln's whereabouts.
I'm a rather big believer in ghosts. I actually do a lot of research about them as well. They're just really interesting to me for some reason. I have had a few paranormal experiences myself. But most were the mild things such as the hand on the back/shoulder. One of which was when I was at my grandmother's funeral (after everyone had left and they buried her) and I went to look at the other graves to see what they said. I have gone quite aways and I was around the really old and faded graves from the 1800s or so. I came to one of these fancy pillar like looking graves and it looked really old and I wanted to go see what it said but as soon as I took a step toward it, I felt extremely uneasy and started hesitating with every step I took. I couldn't even take another step toward it. My stomach began to churn the longer I just stood there staring at that grave. I don't know what it was but I swear it was almost like something was trying to keep me away from it. I told this to my friend (who is also a believer of ghosts) and he said that the older the death, the stronger the energy that the spirit has and whatever it was that was around the grave was possibly trying to keep me away for a reason or just because it didn't want me around. It may seem ridiculous to some people, I know, but that honestly got me a bit shaken up. Even thinking of it now makes me short of breathe.
Xero suddenly felt the awkward vibes the girl was giving off behind her. She turned around once more facing her and just looked at her. She saw how calm she was but she sensed the tension within her. She could tell the the girl wasn't very happy to see her after so long. She chuckled under her breath as she began walking towards her with a cocky smirk on her face.
Xero walked around a bit with her ice cream in hand. She turned the corner of the building and saw that she had come into the sandlot. She lazily held the popsicle stick in her mouth as she walked with her hands behind her head with not a care in the world. She noticed someone at the other side of the lot and thought about confronting her. She did look rather familiar... "Nah." She simply said as she turned away.
