Van Helsing grimaced; he knew that was the truth to a certain extent. "What have you turned into, Gabriel?" Dracula continued, seeing the look on the hunter's face and taking the opportunity to taught him further. "It's very... pathetic and... disappointing." Hikari clenched her hands into fists as she tried to run faster. Do it for your master, you little weakling, she snapped at herself mentally. Show him you're worth something... show everyone you're worth something! She let out an attacking shriek and launched herself in the air toward Jinx, colliding with her back. They both tumbled to the ground and rolled in the dirt. Hikari dug her heels down to stop them and pinned Jinx underneath her. "Let's pull off your arms first, okay?" she hissed happily.
Van Helsing jumped up to his feet at Carl's words and nodded. he faced Dracula, glaring. "The first thing I'd like to demand is why the hell you're destroying this innocent town with your disgusting, heartless children," he snapped at the vampire. Hikari screamed at the pain in her back and turned viscously to see where Jinx had run to. She ran after her as fast as she could, licking her lips. "I'm rather excited for this!" she shouted happily as she went. "You'll be the first one of my own kind I get to tear apart!" Dracula made a little clicking noise of disapproval with his tongue on the roof of his mouth in response to Van Helsing. "Gabriel," he began smoothly. "There was a time when you cared less for people and other... 'innocent' causes. Time has changed you more than I expected."
Eleanor blinked, a little surprised; she'd never thought of the idea herself, and, now that Tristan mentioned it, it didn't seem impossible. "I don't know," she replied quickly. "But I guess we'll just have to find out!" She focused her gaze on the nearest soldier, and, as he raised his weapon to attack, she bent his neck with her mind all the way down to his shoulder. Meeting the resistance of the other bone, she pushed harder as the man screamed, until a loud crack filled the room and the soldier's neck collapsed at an ugly angle against his chest. The body fell to the floor and Eleanor sighed; it wasn't easy, but she would keep it up. The next three men were quicker, though; despite the attacks they brought toward her, Eleanor's mind was swifter. Their lives ended with less pain than the first and Eleanor found herself ignoring the fatigue coming over her. She looked around to see four guards left, now standing in a row facing her and Tristan. She gave them a smirk and glanced at Tristan. "How's that?"

"Damn it," Eleanor swore aloud, quickly counting the enemies in front of them and the stones in her pocket; she didn't have nearly enough to kill of them, let alone the strength to shove each one past their armor into their heads. She spun in a circle twice, catching two men in the gut with her daggers and kicking them to the ground to bleed to death before pressing her back against Tristan's. "This doesn't look that great, does it?" she asked quickly.

Eleanor looked around as well, putting a hand on the nearest wall to keep herself still as she regained her strength. "Thanks," she muttered in return. "Those doors have got to be important, but..." She glanced at the children already in the room. "I'm... not good with kids..."
Van Helsing managed to put his hands to his neck and pulled back shaking fingers covered in blood. He couldn't believe that this new born of Dracula's could sap his energy so easily. "Jinx," he gasped against the vampire's grip on his throat. "Let me... h-handle... this..." I don't appreciate the pun in my direction, love, Edward said more kindly in Hannah's mind. He began to pace around Mary, growling deep in his throat. Hikari broke away from Jinx and found herself letting go of the hunter and stepping back, her legs staggering against her will. "I want..." she began, amazed at how Dracula could control her with a few sentences. "Want to... destroy him... for you..." Dracula shook his head. "No," he said. "Sorry, sweetheart, but that's not your job. You can get rid of his girlfriend, if you wish."

"It's seven!" Sakura exclaimed, pointing to the button Lucca had pushed. "We're going to seven... eventually..."
Sakura sniffed and blinked. "Okay..." she sighed dramatically. "Only if we get to ride the elevator again..."
Eleanor nodded and sprung forward into the large chamber, right into the middle of the group of unsuspecting guards. There was still a good amount of smoke from the debris hanging around in the air. She spun with her arms outstretched, her wrists angled so her blades cut across the shoulders of almost all the men surrounding her. "Ha!" she exclaimed, stopping and immediately snapping into a fighting stance. She couldn't believe the trick actually worked. "Try to swing those damn swords at me now!" She grinned viciously at the soldiers as they tried to raise their weapons with the triceps tendons in their shoulders severed. Pulling six stones out of her pockets with her mind and raised them in the air in front of her. "Smile, boys," she hissed, and shut her eyes. Let's see how well I can do this blindfolded, she thought happily. Show off to Tristan... She opened her eyes a moment later to see all of the men dead on the floor, small holes in the side of their heads, blood leaking from their ears.
Sakura froze and frowned, her lower lip sticking out and quivering. Her eyes got bigger and bigger until fake tears swelled in them and she let out a small whimper.
