Maybe it was because she was eager to get out of here, she forgot her manners and to wait for someone to reply to her words. She began to tug Eon along, not realizing she still had a hold of the boy's arm. She was following where the keyblade seemed to be directing her, and she didn't want to stop. There was pasta, pizza, soda, just food in general outside of this world and she was getting hungry! Not to mention, she didn't realize how not sitting against something could be so nerve wracking. Oh! And music! She couldn't forget the music she hadn't heard in so long... Or feel the light. "Patience," she muttered to herself, stopping short as she was trying to clear her mind. "Deep breaths..." After inhaling deeply and exhaling, Xara felt the keyblade's pull become stronger and stronger once more. She was going in the right direction. She finally looked ahead, and saw something out of place from the swirling clouds and dark area; a bundle of a person laying on the ground. Excitement shook her frame once more. Again, it was confirmed to her that she was not alone! But were they hurt? Did something bad happen to them? "Hey!" Xara called out to the pile of human. She looked at Eon, her eyes dancing with excitement as she let go of him and charged forward. "Are you okay?!" Xara stopped short, quickly glancing over the figure. "Miss?" Xara knelt down by the older woman, keyblade still gripped tightly in her hand as she temporarily forgot she had it. The girl then shook the woman by the shoulder gently. "Hey, are you okay? Can you hear me?" OOC:// Spoiler What was going on in my head while I was writing the last part out. "WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING?!"
It was while she was pleading that she heard footsteps sounding off somewhere. Confused, she opened her eyes and had a look around. She hadn't heard anything but the sound of her own voice all this time. Her heart raced, realizing that someone else was in here and she wasn't completely alone like she thought she was. She squinted her eyes as she lowered her keyblade as her ears picked up to where the sound was coming from. It was hard to tell since there were no walls around this place, but her keyblade seemed to turn towards whomever was coming. Out of the shadows ran out a boy with blonde hair with brownish black tips. Familiarity tugged at the young girl's heart, but she couldn't find a name to the face. She could hardly believe that someone else was here, let alone a face she recognized. But what was his name? "Eon...?" It was strange that name came out. Her eyes stung, but she smiled really big. When was the last time she smiled? "Eon!" The keyblade disappeared from the girl's hand and she met him half way, running into him with a hug as big as her gratitude to the Light. She squeezed him, maybe a bit to hard, but she wanted to make sure this was real. "You're here! Someone else is here!" She pulled away from the boy to look at his face, smiling through the tears that were rolling down her cheeks before she hugged him once more. "I thought I was alone. I thought..." She sniffed and stepped back, letting go of him. "I'm sorry," she said with a laugh, wiping away the tears with her glove sleeves. "It's just been a while since I've seen someone... I'm being an idiot." Xara laughed again, shrugging her shoulders as she rubbed away the last of her tears with her thumb. "I'm sorry you're stuck here too though. This place is no fun..." She had so many questions, like how long had she been here, did anyone else knew she was gone, and many others, but there were other tasks at hand to focus on. The girl then listened to Eons words about the two of them creating a bigger light in the darkness to see if others were in here as well. "A light? You saw a light coming from me?" The keyblade was summoned to her hand again and she glanced at it. "I didn't see anything... Do you really think others are stuck here too? I dunno how long I've been here, but you're the only person I've seen." With those words, it seemed like the keyblade was tugging again to a different direction away from Eon. Maybe there were more in the darkness... She looked at Eon and smiled. "I think there is someone else here. The keyblade pointed to you when I couldn't see you. It's like pulling me again, that way." Xara pointed to the right of her and glanced at Eon. "Maybe if we go take a look together, what do you say?" Just a moment ago, Xara was lost. Now that she was found, she was ready to get out of this place. Maybe they would find someone or something together that would get them out of here once and for all.
Darkness… Heavy, heavy darkness. Or was it light? It was hard to tell. Nothing to look at. Nobody to talk to but the conscious. Xara stumbled through, her eyes downcast as she watched her feet drag along the ground. She was getting nowhere, and she figured that it would be like this for a while longer. She hardly started out on her journey to figure out the keyblade and then ended up here in this mess somehow. She stopped, looking up ahead of her. Still the same scenery, but maybe… Something would be different this time? She cupped her hands over her mouth and yelled out into the abyss. “HELLOOOOOOOO!!! ANYBODY OUT THEREEEEEE?!?! YOOOOOOOO!!! I WOULD REALLY, REALLY, REAAAAAAAALLY LOVE SOME COMPANY!” Xara then waved her hands in the air as if to clear the dark mist enveloped about her. “YOOHOO! BIG SUMMER BLOWOUT!” But there was no reply, and the darkness was still the same. Sighing out, Xara plopped down on the ground and flopped back. She stared up into blackness, and then smirked to herself. “You know… I wonder…” She moved her arms back and forth on the ground as if she was flying, and then moved her legs in the same manner. Giggling, Xara stopped and rolled over as carefully as possible, standing to her feet again. “Ha!” she exclaimed with a grin, placing her arms on her hips. “Dust angel!” Indeed, below her was the iconic dust angel. She then reached behind her and brushed herself off the best she could before sitting herself on the ground again. What should she do now… Ah ha! Smiling, she began to draw with her fingers in the dirt. Well if she was stuck here for a while, might as well take a break from meandering about. Perhaps she could collect ideas of what to do next. “Hm, how long have you been here anyways?” The girl asked herself. “I dunno, a while.” She let out a puff of air and continued to draw a tree in the fine silt. “Months, weeks, years? Man, have you had any food lately, myself?” A growl broke the silence and Xara grasped her tummy. “Shhhh. Nah, not till you mentioned it, myself. Well excuuuuuse me, yourself!” The purple haired girl ruffled her hair into a mess, trying to turn her attention back on the tree. “Man, it’s really frustrating to talk to yourself. You’re telling me, myself.” After a while of silence, the tree was finished. Now she was ready to draw a sun behind it. A question then struck her. “How did you even get in this mess, girl? Oh, you know, lack of participation makes you susceptible to being kicked in the booty and out into the abyss. Wow, big words there. Don’t mention it. I don’t even know where they came from. Fifty words to gooooo. Fifty words to go till what? Dunno, sounded funnier in my head…” Xara continued to draw the sun behind the tree. When was the last time she had seen light? She couldn’t even remember. Wait, didn’t she just go over this? She shook her head and stopped for a moment, staring at the drawing she created. The sun was peeking over the top of the tree with swirls inside of it and sun rays squiggling out from the round orb. The tree itself was massive and also had swirls going down and around the trunk to add depth to the bark and branches. It was absolutely beautiful and a wonderful change to see than a blank white ground with black clouds covering up the rest of the world. “Why did you even come out here…?” Tapping fingers on the ground, she processed that question for a while. “Because… The place I was in was in darkness… A different kind of darkness. Ignorance. Sadness. Anger… It wasn’t my home; even if I was born there.” She then scoffed. “I don’t even know if I was born there or not… I was just… There.” …But is this any better?” The girl then smiled to herself and looked up at the churning gloom. “For now, yeah. I’m alone. Isn’t that the way it’s always been? I can hold out a little longer. Just wait, something is going to happen. Something always happens. Besides, if I stay on this subject too long, I’m going to get melancholy myself like this place. I can’t let myself dwell on the past, you know?” The purple hair girl laid back on the ground, propping her hands behind her head. Left to her own thoughts again, left to listen to absolute silence. She squinted her eyes, hoping she could see something, but to no avail. “Would it kill to have a few stars in this place?” she asked the void, smirking at the thought of it replying back to her. She then lifted her hand from behind her back and stared up at it, flexing her fingers and seeing what her complexion was like in the darkness. She then looked at her palm, caressing the crevices of it. “If only I had a paintbrush. Or a stick.” Another idea popped into her head, something she hadn’t thought of before. And why? Maybe she was too focused on trying to find someone or find a way out of here. Xara sat straight up, continuing to examine her hand and run her fingers over it. “What if…” The gears in her head were turning. Maybe, just maybe… Closing her eyes, Xara reached deep within herself to try to summon the key she called on back in her home world. Not long ago, she hardly realized she was doing just that. The weird creatures, the confusion, the shadows, the dreams, the Voice, all those and more flooded into her head. Her hand felt warm and tingly as if someone pricked her hand with a bit of electricity, and then held a weight. The girl gasped, opening her eyes to see the giant key that showed itself to her appear to her again. “It worked! It actually worked!” She jumped to her feet and did a little happy dance. “I did it! I did it! Yippee! Okay, back to serious mode,” she said with straight face. She tested the key blade with her right hand, feeling the heaviness of it before switching to the left. For a weirdly, shaped weapon, it had great balance to it as if it was made for her. "Here it goes..." Xara raised the great key so that the tip of it was pointing up and pressed the handle to her forehead. “Please help me find someone,” she whispered. “Please help them find me. I need to leave this place. I’m no good if I’m sitting around here doing nothing. Come on, I came all this way to help and to find out some answers. Show me the way out of here.”

Well I think I'm a little late to post my previews... but here's two samples anyways. These are my best ones: The Prices of Solitude The damage was done Blood on dead grass ran dry Knife in hand glinted under the sun And all she could do was cry Shredded fragments of faces left Faces she once saw and then hid Strewn around her, sore with regret To the dark one she gave after the bid The bid that she wished to take back But could she now? Oh no For night has risen and the mirror now cracked Summer fades, in comes winter's snow Happiness to her was not a dream Nightmares and darkness was her security Once something good would come her way it seemed Time to cut ties and try to show no pity Alone, alone she would always be Friendships, smiles, that was not her way If only, only she saw the mask she would scream For this was not her, she was actually brave For that moment she saw the light And sometimes felt the warmth of that embrace Fear would overcome her, oh what a fright Friends became demons, her mind shed no grace The crime was committed, no honor was paid Loved ones, dear ones close to her now gone Down on the ground the knife she laid And no more sought for another dawn I Was a Little Girl I was a little girl Who didn’t know much Who didn’t see love Who just couldn’t trust I was a little girl And you were a family Who opened arms of love To all, including me To the little girl who didn’t know much Who didn’t see love, who just couldn’t trust Who was afraid of a gentle, kind touch Who was sad, yet happiness was a must I was a little girl Who didn’t understand affection Who couldn’t accept help Who was blind, angry, no direction Open arms, though painful, wait Patient, thoughts of failing, but naught Through tough love, time, Savior’s touch Came home, forgiven, still learning I was a little girl And now a young woman Through gratitude give this Poem, for mending the rift You are a family Who knew a little girl Who knew what was inside And unwearyingly wait Through years will soon bloom And because of you Who knew a little girl Who had dreams to free I am a young woman And you are my family Who patched my broken heart Whom God will never forget For all eternity ∞

Alright... I didn't want to do this, but... Here comes the smolder... Spoiler
Akira had been unresponsive since she had collapsed from the intense darkness and power she had face within the cave. She had no idea she was even back within the cave, thanks to Hunter. She still felt as if she was floating in darkness, having no control over herself or her being. She felt herself tilt down however and her eyes fluttered open. She saw she was being lowered towards a beautiful, multi-colored stained glass surface and gasped, amazed by the beauty of this place. She was then gently set down and looked around her. All she could see was darkness all around her, and she was trapped on this platform. She somehow felt strangely calm... Something she wouldn't have normally experienced in these kind of situations. So much to do... So little time... Akira looked around when she heard the voice, but could see no one around. Take your time... Don't be afraid. The warrior breathed in through her nose to calm her nerves before letting it out softly. The door is still shut. Now, step forward. Can you do it? Akira nodded her head to the voice, and took her first steps forward.
Akira heard the voice of Hunter shouting after her and cringed. Fantastic, she had a follower. Shaking her head, she flashed stepped again, appearing at the opening of the cave. Her legs suddenly gave out from under her and she stumbled to the ground, yelling in surprise, barely catching herself with her hands. She winced when one hand collided with the hard rocky ground while the other slammed in the metal hilt of her beloved sword. She suddenly felt light headed as she knelt there, panting as she looked around through the curtain of wild red hair over her face. She could barely make out the images of several still engaged in combat, her vision making everything seem like a watery blur one moment and then clear the next. "W-what's happening...?" she weakly mumbled. She whipped her head around behind her, and saw two cave entrances. No, this couldn't be happening. She needed to be cohieriant right now, she needed to get away! Shakily, Akira rose to her feet, taking in deep breaths of air. She then forced her flash step to the right, but didn't make it very far. The instant she appeared again, the fire warrior suddenly fell to the ground, her sword spinning out of her grasp. She tried to pull herself up, only to have her arms wobble and she fell once more. The world was spinning as Akira could hear the battles over her labored breathing and beating heart. She fought to keep her eyes open as everything suddenly felt heavy to her. Was she so weak that she could not withstand the darkness she had felt while in the presence of the monster? Akira eyes suddenly rolled to the back of her head and she went limp, her body succumbing to the strain she experienced just moments ago. It was strange, she no longer felt heavy but light as if she was falling... Falling, falling... into darkness...
"YOU'RE ALL FOOLS!" Akira screamed at Hunter and the others that had swarmed into the cave. She then grunted and fell to one knee, still fighting off the strange power that was trying to overwhelm her mind and cloud her better judgement of things. She knew enough now which side she wanted to be on and what was going to happen if things continued the way they did. "This is worse," she spat out, her body shaking as she was fighting to stand up, "worse than this g-goddess of yours or whomever you claim as the tyrant and ruler of worlds! DO YOU WANT SOMEONE TO CONTROL YOU AND YOUR ACTIONS? LIKE A PUPPET TO A PUPPET MASTER?! THAT WILL BE GUARANTEED IF THIS THING IS RELEASED!" But no matter how much she spoke, she knew that she would be ignored. Her words would fall on deaf ears. If they were working so hard to make things right, they were surely following the wrong path. Realizing how Hunter denied her mental state of being and released the hero without question was even more clear to her which group was the corrupted one, and she happened to fall right into their little frolic. "Tch..." She stood back on her feet and drew her sword, lighting it with flames. It would be one against five or more, and she was sure that the "Hero" or monster in chains would give them the upper hand, making them seem like twenty or more against a puny ant. There was nothing she could do, not now. She wasn't the keyblade's chosen one after all. "Fine, release the monster. You will be sorry..." She then looked to the "hero" and turned with one motion with her fiery sword, sending a fire wall towards the beast bond in dark chains. "I have made my decision, and it is not with you," she said coldly. Then, she flashed stepped, disappearing from the sight of the group and appeared back at the tunnel of the cave that lead the hero. There, she ran as fast as she could, hoping the farther she got, the less effect the weird thing had in her brain.
Akira stopped short when she not only realize she was about to run straight into a dead end, but that a voice sounded in her head. Eyes widened, she pulled out her sword in one swift motion, getting into a wide fighting stance. She squinted into the shadows, forgoing the logical idea to just light her sword to see better. She had an inkling feeling she didn't want to see what was in the darkness. She could make out large, thick, black chains wrapping around some sort of figure with long white hair and wearing a coat of sorts, but that was all. She could almost feel something so odd radiating off of the figure in the shadows, but she couldn't put her mind to it. As she stood there in the silence, waiting impatiently to see what would happen now, she felt her mind suddenly pull into an unseen force. She cried out as she fell to one knee, holding her head with a free hand while gripping her sword tightly with the other. "What-?" Her eyes were wide, bulging as the invisible force tried to tug at the memories, thoughts, and emotions she had long since locked away deep within herself, gradually giving her a dull headache. She then heard the voice echoing through her mind again and her nails dug in her skull. It felt like someone was putting immense pressure in her head, almost as if the gravity became denser in her own mind. She had no choice but to listen to the mysterious figure's words, hearing the same terms she thought were so childish since her ears had picked them up; goddess, destruction because of this goddess, pain, ignorance... "ENOUGH!" Akira screamed. Her whole being was engulfed in bright orange flames and then the flames exploded outward around her as frustrations and fear were released. She took in a deep breath, forcing herself to stand on her feet. She had one eye shut and the other opened, then weakly held up her sword. She was starting to feel disoriented as if she was becoming ill for some reason, probably what was happening. "I don't know what you are... But you will not tell me what I must do or not do. I make that decision. No one else!" Her body shimmered in orange flames as her hands began to shake. She then swung her sword behind her, and a fire wall of sorts came up behind her at the entrance of the cave, attempting to block others from blindly running in as she had just done. She had made a mistake, she could at least grasp that concept. She could try to help others not make the same poor choice. "Now then, tell me dark one, what makes you so qualified to be the "Hero"? Why is no one else qualified to kill this goddess if she sounds so ignorant, weak, and vulnerable?" She stumbled and then held her sword, pointing it towards the shadow figure against the wall, flames and all. "Surely one with so many flaws could be demolished by others." In front of the firewall appeared a figure that looked similiar to Akira, but their whole appearance was made of orange and yellow flames. "Be warned!" the Akira look-alike called out. "Something is amiss the in the cave! Do not blindly run in. Something is happening to my mind... I cannot explain it. I do not like it." The clone then clutched its head and began to turn blue as if the flames were beginning to die. The fire wall that was once bright and hot was also diminishing and turning blue gradually. "Be... careful..." And with those two words, the fire wall and the clone had vanished completely into smoke, leaving the cave entrance wide open again.
Akira had the same idea as Hunter, although she had left without a warning. She was sneaking along the mountain walls, making sure the others were distracted with whatever chaos was going to befall them. It seemed as if this scuffle was around this said hero, the dragon was a distraction, and whoever the goddess sent was not doing a very good job of sending reinforcements to stop them, or even going to kill this Hero themselves. So, still undecided which side she was going to go on, she decided to try her hand at freeing the trapped Hero. Why was this hero trapped anyways? It seemed kind of silly. She didn't have much information on the manner, but she didn't have time to go research and mull over this, she needed to act now. This wasn't an act of righting a wrong, or protecting those she loved... It was more of an act of defiance to see if she could actually get away with it. Coming close to the mouth of the cave, Akira stopped and clutched her sword, seeing that all the focus were on the opposing sides at the entrance... All she needed to do was get around them, right? Taking in a quick breath after flexing her fingers on the handle of the sword, she suddenly preformed Flash Fire Step, disappearing from view and appearing behind the small group as little flames appeared at the bottoms of her feet. She then Fire Flashed Stepped again, running into the cave with all her might. "Alright, where are you Hero?" she asked to no one, running down the corridors of the cave and glancing ahead to make sure she didn't miss anything. She was also keeping a careful ear, knowing that if she was seen, someone would be close behind her to try to stop her.
It seemed as if there were several things happening. Though Akira was debriefed about a war going on with a corrupted Goddess of Light and those trying to find a hero to stop this Goddess since legends and prophecies proclaimed about this said Hero being the only one to kill the Goddess. Now she was not only fabricated somehow from her island she once resided, but now at this place called a Keyblade Graveyard. As she stood silently by, she saw how both sides were conflicting with one another at length, and that it seemed the sighting of a Hero was seen in a cave... No wonder why there was a confusion when they first met her. Not long after that, a dragon beast was summoned out of no where. Some were fighting that, while someone seemed to be fighting against one another. "So this is what it's come to," Akira mused, staying out of the conflict as much as possible. "The age of Light is but a myth. It is an age of confusion and strife..." Suddenly someone else seemed to have come out of no where, perhaps on this said Goddesses side. She proclaimed they were all under arrest for attempted murder and dethrone apparently. She scoffed, but didn't have a chance to say much. The one she met at the cave spoke first. Though her words weren't choice to Akira, it got a point across. "What she had said," Akira said, keeping her hand on the sword. "Though I'll have you know, some do not have a part in all of this. For example, I am still very unsure which side I will take as my ally... Though your assumptions of all here partaking and murder and dethroning this so powerful Goddess is something I will laugh at. For now. Unless you choose to fight." Her eyes flickered and she flexed her fingers on the hilt. "Then we will have issues I will have to resolve by force. If this Goddess of yours is so grand, why does she not come here herself to dispose this said Hero before he awakens form his slumber? It seems to me she's very idle and lazy to have henchmen do her dirty work... Either that, or she is a coward... What a joke. "
