The Demon War "OUCH! What's your problem!?" Sam shouted as both Malkira and Ra both punched him in the face. Calxiyn blushed at their defense but then said. "Hey they already have enough wounds!" "Local flirt? Sounds like I have a protege." Erik smiled coyly. "Sam. Apologize." "Fine. I'm sorry, for kissing you like that: I went too far." Sam muttered to Calxiyn. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "Apology accepted." Calxiyn smiled at him cheerfully. "I will answer your questions." James started. "Forgive our intrusion. We did not know this abode belonged to anyone, nor did we have the time to take that into consideration." James told the girls. "The fight we just faced could have ended our lives. Please, forgive us." He bowed his head. "But that doesn't explain why he just kissed me!" Cal complained. "Well, my lovely, flustered lady, it's hard to explain." Erik then turned to Ra. "We're not exactly, normal." "We're Incubi, demons that consume and use the sexual energy of humans to survive." The boy who had not said a word up until now spoke. "That is why we recognize Devil Slayer Magic, it is the only human magic that can kill us." James explained. "Ah... that explains why I feel a bit tired now." Calxiyn thought outloud. "But what exactly happened?" "We've just recently came into this town, and we were jumped by a gang of... misfits. We battled with them but eventually we didn't prove to be a match, and we retreated back here." James told them. "I had no idea this was a Guild Hall - it looks more like a castle."
The Fairy Curse of Laverna: Magic Meadow Elivana paced around. "The Guardians are like, Mayors I guess. They're chosen by the Queen to look after the our land. They all have special powers, and all of them have powers surrounded around the colours of the rainbow. They just keep the garden alive, I'm not really sure how, but they have special powers from the Queen. I've never actually met one." Elivana told them. "Topaz has gone missing, we don't know WHERE she is." She then turned to Skadi. "She's missing." She clarified. "It's something that's effecting all of the flight fairies, that's why I'm okay. They're just getting sick, but we don't know what happened. If you heal the fairies, I think they'll just get sick again, but it's worth a try." Elivana said. "I want you all to come with me and go to the nearest guardian, Azura. It's hours away by flight, and I can't fly which means it'll be even longer on foot. There are dangerous in the path that lies ahead, I need someone to protect me." The Demon Barber of Fleet Street "Custo-me-rs. They're meat pies." The women corrected Caleb, speaking more clearly. "I've lived here for.. say... 16 years now eh? But times is hard, sir. And no wonder with the price of meat! You'd think it was fantastic finding animals dyin' in the streets at this rate. Oh and I'm not young enough like Mrs. Mooney across the street, chasing the cats down so she can pop pussies into pies! Pusseycats is quick, sir." She told Aias, she then turned to Dale. "I did in fact. Benjamin Barker. I still have his tools. Relatives? Of Mr. Barker? Oh! Ohhh I understand now! Sit down let me tell you a story." "A story? Am I just in time then?" A tall man walked through the door with a gloomy, dark demeanor about him, taking one of the pies. He loomed as he dark, deep voice seemed to hover over the heads of all the Guild Members. ♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫ "You got a room over the shop, haven't you? If times are so hard, why don't you rent it out?" The man asked. "Up there? Are you mad, love? People think 'ts haunted." Mrs. Lovette told him, she then turned to the group. "You see, years ago something happened up there... something not very nice." "There was a barber and his wife. And he was beautiful... A proper artist with a knife," She put her dirty fingernail under Dale's chin in a cut throat motion, before continuing "but they transported him for life. And he was beautiful..." Ms. Lovette looked at the man, before turning to Aias. "Like I told you before, Barker his name was, Benjamin Barker." "Transported, what was his crime?" Dale asked. "Foolishness deary." She replied to Dale, before painting a picture for them. It was almost like they could see it all in their heads with her story telling. "He had this wife, ya see. Pretty little thing, silly little nit, had her chance for the moon on a string.... poor thing! Poor thing!" She sighed dramatically. "There were these two you see, wanted her like mad, one o' them a judge the o'ther one his Beadle. Every day they'd nudge and they'd wheedle, still she wouldn't budge from her needle! Too bad... pure thing!" She seemed to smile at that, before frowning and continuing dramatically. "So they merely shipped the 'or blighter off south they did, leaving her with nothing but grief and a year old kid! Did she use her head even then, oh no, god forbid! Poor fool. Ah, but there was worse yet to come... pure thing!" "Johanna, that was the child's name, pretty little Johanna." She paused. "Well the Beadle calls on her 'll polite! Poor thing... poor thing! The judge - he tells her is all contright. He blames himself for her dreadful plight - she must come straight to his house tonight poor thing... poor thing." "There was a party then you know. I've never been to one myself. Of course when she goes there poor thing! Poor thing! They're hav' a ball all in masks! There's no one she knows there! Poor dear! Poor thing! She wonders tormented and drinks! Poor thing! The judge has repented, she thinks, Poor thing! 'Oh where is Judge Turpin' she asks..." She then slammed her arms on the table. "He was there, alright! Only not so contright!" "She wasn't no match for such craft, ya see. And everyone thought it so drull. They figured she had to be daft, ya see, so all of them stood there and laughed, ya see! Poor soul! Poor thing!"
The City of Ember: On The Island "Let's move on then." Shani suggested as they followed Vance. Evidence INCompleted! Third Area Completed! 3/5 points gathered. The group is going to travel to the circle near the ship Florica, Shani, and Zeph walked towards the bushes. "They have the same orange as the plants over there. We've seen enough of this." Zephyros turned to Shani, arms crossed. "Could a spell reach that big though? This would have to be a powerful wizard..." Mission Information: Anything that is underlined in speaking or description is a clue. You can have your character look at it and try attempt to figure out what significance it has. This could be harder or easier depending on what building you have first/last. You can look more in depth at the clues presented. To recap, this is what we know: 1. The bushes here have the same problems as the trees 2. their bark is orange but the leaves are alright
The City of Ember: On The Island Shani watched as Vance turned back the tree. When turned back enough, a completely new tree was in it's place. It was a tall pine tree, and had normal bark . "So these were normal trees once?" Florica said, putting her hand on the one Vance had changed. "Does that mean it's magic, or it's not?" Shani questioned. Mission Information: Anything that is underlined in speaking or description is a clue. You can have your character look at it and try attempt to figure out what significance it has. The trees have bright orange bark 3. Vance reverted a tree back to normal. It's normal height and has no orange bark Answer the Question: Is it Magic? If not, what is it? Use evidence from previous places to help you. In the OOC there is now a collected information post for this mission I will say if the evidence has been fully "completed" or if there's anything else you could say about the evidence. This may be easier for some characters then others depending on different backgrounds as well as magic. Either way, all of the evidence is important in other to get the maximum amount of points.

The City of Ember: First Scenario: Evidence Collected What we know so far: The first area we saw was a Stronghold. It looked destroyed but not by a battle, since there are no bones to be found or graves. The Gates lead somewhere but since no one is posted at them we know that no one is on the land beyond. The Gate is fully intact with means that the mountain must have protected it/covered it from being heavily damaged. Whatever happened at the Stronghold because of that was not global but only within a certain radius. The trees have a bizarre, bright orange colour to their bark. Is it magic?... or something else?
The City of Ember: On The Island Shani, Florica and Zeph and the rest of the group headed for the forest, back where they had came from. Shani leaned back on one of the trees, looking around. "These trees should be taller, but they looked stunted." Shani told the group. Florica snorted. "Shani, I think there's a bigger problem here, these trees are bright orange." "So what does that mean, are they not supposed to be this colour?" Zephyros asked. Florica turned to Zeph. "Well, I'm not exactly an expert, but these are pine trees so I don't think they're supposed to look like this." "Well," Shani started, turning to Vance at first, but then looking at Thea, Conrad, and Damian. "You're all wizards, is this magic?" The Island Expedition: On The Island "Aoki's right. We got to put aside the Island being cursed for a bit." Johanna told Alessia, Ander, and the rest of the group. "I'll turn into an elephant that fits the footprint size as Alessia and Aoki both suggested, and we'll see. After that I'll do what Beucette suggested and change into a bird." Johanna told them both. "Hmm... if Ander is right and the curse is in the food, maybe I should try one. If I turn into an animal, at least I can turn into other animals if not my human self for a while." Johanna pondered this, but left it up for the group to decide. Johanna then went into the footprints of the elephant, getting off the trampoline, and transformed into an elephant she figured based on the footprints would be the same size. She got back onto the trampoline. Even with Beucette and Antonio, it was still letting her bounce for a while. Johanna hopped back down and went into her human self. "They made this with maximum weight in mind." Johanna concluded. "Well, Frazer, you were here, what DO the monsters look like?" Antonio asked as Aoki wanted to know. Frazer grabbed a sketch. "Like this." Frazer handed Aoki a picture. Johanna took a look. "I've never seen that before..."
