The top poster is EvilMan_89. He has close to 6,000 posts, and he's been here since 2006.

So yeah, it's okay to be a loser. We are all winners here.

If you mean Neal as in Nell my username, I am not anti-Internet. I think the Internet is a good thing. I just wondered if it was possible to argue this side based on the knowledge of Internet that I have.

Does Google searching help students get better at memorizing? No. Google gives the same amount of information on a subject as books. There's only one difference:

I recently had a class where tests where performed with open books and open computers. No lie. The professor explained that this is how the world works now. That there is no longer a need to dwell on details when the information is freely and readily available.

What would you do if Wikipedia and Google disappeared forever? People have become totally dependent on the Internet for answers. This is why it must go away.

You're right, it's called studying. But how will the majority of students learn anything if they have a mindset of, "Derr, I can just Google that," instead of imprinting the information on their minds like they're supposed to? The Internet has made the world as a whole stupider.

What you're implying is false. When Wikipedia is gone, your knowledge learned from Wikipedia is gone. The Internet has taught us not to memorize information, but to memorize where the information can be found.

Uplifting. The Internet is so pointless. All it is is a false sense of belonging. This was perfectly demonstrated in that comic.

After all of guys managed to kick yourselves out, I tried installing this, and it broke my machine. Something about an entry point not being found. Now I have no icons, no taskbar, just wallpaper.

    CONGRATULATIONS.
