I've been using Opera, partly because Firefox's numbering scheme change annoyed me, partly because I've gotten so used to mouse gestures. I like Firefox and Chrome too, but I don't find anything wrong with Opera, it's a capable web browser, despite some websites telling you otherwise: "Your browser seems outdated. To get the best [blahblah].com experience please install [whatever browser]." I don't use web browsers that don't support all "big three" operating systems; support for mobile operating systems are a plus.
Kids. No, not really. I like collecting/buying DVD/Blu-ray copies of movies I like. I only buy when they're bargain priced, for example my latest purchase was of a Red Planet (2001)/2010: The Year We Make Contact (1984)/Contact (1997) triple feature for only $15!
I believe with all my heart that the best video games ever made include Braid and SpaceChem.
Why was this moved to the Spam Zone? I think this thread is more appropriate in Current Events. 15 years later, so she must be 17.
Wild animals. A crowd of people. The Pope. President Barack Obama. Take aim... may it strike true.
Show off... All I got is a Spoiler DeckLink HD Extreme 3D capture card! DAT 3D! No. Not really. Anyways, good luck with whatever Happhauge HD PVR Recorders are used for.
First sentence: Interesting comment from the source link:
^ Removing every other frame, or culling, can be a good idea when trying to compress a long animation. I've also written a tutorial on a GIF compression technique, but whether you can use it is highly situational on your image sequence. I don't know what program you're using, but I use Animation Shop to compress GIFs. It has a very easy-to-use optimization wizard for compression settings. I tried resizing your picture and restricting the number of colors and I had no problem getting the filesize under 500 KB. Spoiler 463 KB, 390 x 213 pixels, maximum 31 colors, 21 frames 494 KB, 380 x 208 pixels, maximum 255 colors, 11 frames EDIT: Oh yeah, feel free to use these however.
True, compared to the starving children. I have a computer. Next person has lost faith in the human race.
LOL Firefox, Iceweasel, Chrome, Chromium, Internet Explorer, Safari, Epiphany, Qupzilla, Epic, Puppy Browser, Seamonky.
False. Next person has killed their parents to gain their inheritance.
So if you happen to enjoy using Opera as your preferred web browser, and also enjoy watching Netflix on your computer, you'll be disappointed to find out that Neflix doesn't support Opera. If you try to watch Netflix using Opera, you will get this screen: Instead of detecting the browser's supported features, Netflix concludes that Opera is is unable to stream their videos because Opera is not among the supported browsers listed. To get around this, go to the Netflix website and enter the Opera menu > Settings > Quick Preferences... > Edit Site Preferences.... In the new window go to the Network tab and Change Browser identification to "Mask as Firefox" or "Mask as Internet Explorer." Retry streaming your Netflix movie, and enjoy!
I actually loved how ridiculous it is. Some of the things he says ring true like the U.S. imprisoning most of its population, and then he goes off and explains how all these facts are related to YOU. I read all the posts in this thread except yours before I watched and I had a clear idea of what type of video it might be. It may be scaremongering, but it's really entertaining.
I heard if you run a marathon you'll never have to worry about not feeling your ass again.
You run a marathon.
SOPA and PIPA are both dead and probably will never be resurrected.
It doesn't really have anything to do with the Internet, but that's just terrible.
****. Internet wins... for now...
How much rep constitutes as a gem?
You are a third of the way to 6,000 posts in a about a fifth of time it took him.
