Oh God same situation here... Just be yourself I guess, if you get to know him it will be easier to talk to him when you actually want to confess. I'm friends with my crush now, we get a long pretty well. But not to be a downer or anything but crushes are sometimes just a surge of hormones, it might just pass over.
