A pretty good anime named, Maoyu Maou Yusha. Are her twins too big?
"Sorry! I'm still trying to wrap my head around all of this." He said, flushing and feeling foolish for having missed that part of the talk. He was so busy preparing and thinking that he'd forgotten simple manners. He cleared his throat and gave the new girl a small smile. "I'm Marcus. Marcus Nunn." Why not say his last name. If he was being careful and was right in his assumption that these people believed in the 'email', then maybe they'd notice his name. He shrugged, that was irrelevant, so he quickly dismissed the idea and instead spoke about the message that Altair had mentioned. "You mentioned a message. From the third letter of the alphabet?" He double checked his phone quickly to see if he'd broken some kind of rule. He felt a bit paranoid but it was better safe then sorry. His mind was assuaged soon though, other then the intelligible rule, simply saying the word's message, and from a person named C, couldn't possibly get him in trouble. Right?
Marcus wondered just what the hell this boy could be on. Was his body inhabited by some kind of stoner? Or a crazy writer of some sort, like a demented Stephen King? Synapses fired and then young Marcus could recall. A few weeks back, his inbox held a message. Of course Marcus passed it off as some kind of chain mail and moved on with his life. Could this be what Altair was talking about? Altair. Altair....wasn't just the name of a legendary fictional assassin! He was also some person who's name showed up on the email, along with a list of others. Was this Heidi girl on there too? Before Marcus couldn't answer Altair, his door silently swung open. It was still weird to see his body in third person and bending to someone elses will. It was like a third person styled dream he just couldn't wake from. But he had to get used to it as he watched his body speed off it's perch and around the arms of a rather pretty girl. He did feel out of place as they began to speak but realized it was the perfect chanc e for Marcus to see if his name and Altair's showed up on the email's recipient list. Sweet baby Jesus. They did. Marcus took slow, and deep breaths. He didn't want to die! He didn't even accomplish anything! Or earned a single military medal! His jaw clenched, if the emailer had the ower to do this on a whim or whatever, he should probably brush up on the rules. Marcus scrolled through the email application on his phone, reading and saving the email once he'd finished reading the rules. A game. She wanted to put them in a game. Well, she'd found a player in him. Suddenly, voices snapped him out of his reverie. He still felt out of place, as he watched and listened quietly to their conversation. Altair had left? Maybe he'd been hurt during that absence. These bruises felt pretty damn fresh. He waited though, until they finished their private moment, and before he could talk to them properly, the girl turned to face him and invited him on their adventure. Marcus nodded his agreement to her safety in numbers sentence. Making sure he had his phone in his pocket, he figured he was set enough as long as they were staying on campus, otherwise he'd have to run to his room for his wallet. 'I was just thinking that if there's more of us, we should all gather, just to see who's in who's body. And to make up a good plan or something. I don't think staying apart would help anyone do anything." He said as he gazed at both of them, his arms folding across his chest and his new golden eyes blazing with a certain determination.

Marcus eyes snapped open and he was visibly shaken by a thing that disturbed his sleep. His body was foreign and so was the room he'd carelessly slept in. After calming down and the answers to his questioning mind were settled, he removed the blanket surrounding him and stretched before getting up and folding the blanket he'd borrowed. He was still stuck in this thing. He began to disect and think harder about yesterday, this guy, sounded like he said his friend might have switched bodies too. But why? Why were they switched in the first place!? It made no sense. And sitting around pondering on it wouldn't yeild the wanted results, Marcus would have to reach out to the stranger in the room and question him. "Altair?" He couldn't help it, his mind lightened Altair's deeper vocals to better accilimate Marcus's ears to the new voice he had, as he kept speaking he gained more confidence as he sat back down on the thing he'd slept on. "You said your friend might know what was happening. Why would she know that? Has she been switched like us? And why would she know anything about this? It's not probable to have multiple people with...different bodies. I think." He couldn't think to hard on that, it was just giving him a headache.
Marcus took the news quietly. Altair's friend was not answering. Which means that the duo had no leads. Marcus began to pace, he had little to no friends and therefore not really anyone to call and see if this ordeal affected one of his friends. Sticking together? Probably for the best, looks like trust would have to be earned between the two. Grinning Marcus acknowledged that he would stay and began to hunt down a spare blanket and pillow. With both things acquiring both he settled into the couch and said good night to his body sharer. Switching and maintaining a new body was mentally taxing, to the point where he was sleeping in minutes.
Marcus nodded and listened to Altair's logic. He glanced about the room for a place to sit, he didn't want to sit on the guy's bed now that he was here right in front of him. So he lumbered over the nearest chair, almost falling over has he bent to sit down, he was just not used to be so tall, with limbs so much longer then his own. He could see, as his own body walked around him, that this guy was pretty tall, Marcus's head only came up to Altair's body's mid chest. Other people might be hit with this weird curse thing. Maybe some of them were hit at different times and were already finding a cure, so maybe this Heidi girl would know something valuable. Or at least give them both a clue. No matter what though, Marcus quietly watched the boy on the phone in his body. He was going to stay on this stranger's ass all day. There was no way he was going to trust a stranger with his body.
Marcus nodded and gave the boy his things back. "I am Marcus, did you bring my phone? And you wouldn't happen to know how this happened right? Like we got hit with some freaky voodoo? " This was weird, very weird, his face felt wrong as he spoke and the voice was still deep and weird also. It unnerved him to see and hear himself from another humans body. He glanced inside the room, looked like Altair wanted in, better to talk inside then out, so they wouldn't look like freaks. Marcus ushered Altair inside and shut the door behind them. " Your roommate must be a heavy sleeper, I was pretty loud when I woke up and panicked this morning. They didn't make a sound at all." Definitely a weird day.
Gingerly Marcus washed his new body. Which was a bit difficult in his new body. But he didn't want to be rude to this body's owners, **** switching, this body was filthy and cleanliness helped focus on all his spectrums. He then rummaged about the room for fitting clothes and slipped him on. He was still in awe of having silvery hair and yellow eyes but his JROTC classes were kicking in. Be smart. Attack and defend from all directions. Take care of the easy things first. This guy must have a name. Find that first. It will make hunting him down even better. Hopefully he will be in bed. Marcus sighed, hoping for the best as he stumbled across a cell phone. It looked smart. Marcus sat on the couch because of an aching bruise on his shin. He just had to plug the phone in to get it powered up and working. He accessed the phone's browser and immediately went to MySpace. Nope. No logged in profile there. Twitter and Facebook followed next. He ended up with nothing. Frowning Marcus began to think, typing in tumblr he grinned and his heart beat in successful excitement. This guy luckily hadn't cleared his cookies, so he was still signed in. And going to his Tumblr profile allowed his new yellow eyes to absorb the name of this body's owner. Altair's profile. Weird name, maybe he was raised in Israel. Marcus shrugged and shivered internally, he felt queasy, he was definitely not used to this. He slipped the phone and it's charger into one pocket and headed towards door but before he did he typed up a post on Marcus's tumblr. He visibly jumped when he heard the knocking outside. His hand curled around the doorknob and opened the door wide so that it was verified that this was not a dream. "My body..."
YOU'RE SAFE!! (+1) 5 Marcus groaned as sun rays hit his lidded eyes. It was so damn early. It had to be, but he felt so sick, that had to be the case of what woke him so early this morning. He rolled over to try and get back to sleep, figuring. Poptarts and pizza didn't mix well when each movement made hurt him. A muttered ow caused his eyes to open fully and he grunted in pain as he sat up. Why was his limbs longer and bruised? His chest too. Same dark skin, yes? But was he in the future and time travel made him injured? The black marks that riddled him said he had been hurt pretty bad. This must be some kind of dream. The pain was dulling but not gone. Marcus took a slow and deep breath as he slowly layer back down into his sheets. Yes. Sleep and eventually he would wake up for reals. That would explain why his room looked so weird too! Marcus sat up again. It was time to test this dream. He reached down and pinched a bruised part of his right forearm. DUCK. That hurt. Okay. Maybe this was not a dream. Some kind of lab experiments gone wrong at the lab in the Brookridge mountains. Marcus forced his heart to deaccelerate with deep breaths and stood up. Must get to bathroom was his mantra as he ambled across the room to it. A flick of the switch and a registering of the mirror in his face had him screaming.
Marcus was not a soldier at this moment. At this moment, he was a machine. A murdering murder death machine named Altair and Templars could not do a thing about it. He killed all day and all night and he was only 50% through the game. He rubbed his weary eyes and removed the headset that captured sound for him and let non escape to his roommate. Marcus dug in the fridge, devoured a Pop Tart and some juice and shut off his PS3. Making sure the room was draped in darkness, Marcus the Assassin in training finally crashed into dreamland.
Marcus was elated as he exited the small 50 Dragons Gaming Dojo, he had tracked down the Assassin's Creed game he played with that Quin girl and even discovered the first two before it. Then to his even greater joy he'd found the two sequels after it. He wondered if this game would ever end. He figured he'd start from the beginning as soon as he got home. Brr, it was cold though, but according to the backside of the first video game. Al...Altire, Atair, this Altair fellow went through all kind of hell or so the video store clerk told him. The van's backseats were heated and Marcus could feel his fingers trade the cold energy for the much wanted hot ones, he clutched his bag in his lap like he always done. He would master this game, and hopefully become as good at RPG's as he was in first person shooters. The camera work looked...funny, as if the camera was following the character, what was that all about? His head snapped up from the instruction booklet of the first Assassin's Creed game, his chauffer, Jeeves, asked if him there was anywhere else he'd like to go, and Marcus's head shook no vigourously, ordering him to drive back to the school so he could get cracking into the Codex, whatever that was. Marcus snorted and wondered if he'd ever get to use a gun in this series. A plus to all this was that he was supporting a decent seeming home country studio. As his foot hit the ground of his campus, he gave a single wave to Jeeves before heading towards his dormroom to safely store his new treasures away, he wondered if his roommate was awake as he softly opened the door, in case he wasn't.
Marcus and about five others were left. Though the party was limited he considered it a raging success. Well not really raging but enough to say Mission Complete. Marcus was elated, he drank a soda as he used large garbage bags to clean up the mess they had made. Cans in one. Plates in another, and the pizza boxes in another. It was tiring and it took them an almost two hours but they finished. Marcus had two boys go home before getting the remaining three to help with putting the tables and TVs back along with the chairs and taking the heavy holding bags. The black bags were lugged to the trash and recycling area. Then finally they could all go home. Marcus hurried and yawned along the way. His door flew open at his touch, he was too tired to care. He did take how let it was into effect and gently shut the behind him, mumbling an apology before kicking his shoes off and crawling into his blankets . Sleep took him quickly.
Marcus was too shy to tell her that she misunderstood him when he mentioned multiplayer. He was raised in the wave of games connected to online multiplayer. But he thought by her invitation that she was going to play against him. But he understood that she was telling him that the online players and npcs were the only characters that he could assissinate. The primary function of the games were relatively simple. His kill rate was high but so was his death. He just couldn't figure out how the attackers came from no where. He laughed as he was killed again before she spoke. He didn't know you could kill someone from around a corner like that. "I'm Marcus. I see the only way to have a one on one game is to play online, I wondered if if you'd play me sometime, you're too good to not play this at home, Quin." Pretty name for a pretty girl. As he waited on her reply, he noticed his party was shrinking now, great, people were so messy. He hoped those complainers from the tech rooms wouldn't huff about helping him clean up like he had them agree too.
Marcus jumped a little in his seat. She spoke to him but he was so absorbed in her game play that he could not even tell she was talking to him until he realised that the game wasn't doing anything. She was at the top of the board. Online. He flushed as he saw he was in the presence of pros. His head turned and he smiled shyly. He had never played this game before. He was not ready for the madness that came with an online level. He at least beat the storyline before attempting anything in a game's online mode. But she was being nice so he gave a small nod to her. She was so good that he found that he wanted to play as well. "I'm playing blind, haha. So don't laugh too hard, okay?" He said weakly as he took the spare controller. "Does this game have multiplayer?"
Marcus smiled and moved slightly with his controller. This guy was good. As good as him if not better. And to top it off a girl came to watch. He couldn't help but hear her and deduced that they must have met in. He wondered what hotsprings she talked about but he lost focus as he was the one who grabbed the flower that gave him fire power. For a few minutes he was unstoppable. He stomach rumbled but quietly as they advanced another round. Her name was Allison but Marcus figured she wasn't talking to him. He figured he should play by turn of death and so when his character died finally, he swapped out with Anthony and told Anthony about the rule, so Allison could take Luigi's place if she wanted. He knew that without this rule people could be waiting hours before getting a turn. Standing up he gave small stretch and looked towards the Pizza Table. New faces! A few old too. Ah right, can't play games when you're on a mission. Marcus gave Allison and Anthony a smile and his name and told them to tell him if they needed anything. He then excused himself and left to go mingle. His first approach was to quiet his hunger and wave to Marina. A pretty face would insure people stayed and he knew that a party could increase clientele base. It made him feel better that he could help. He then drifted about speaking with other Brookridge kids before getting to the PS3. He was raised on Sony so he watched the girl play a game he didn't love but he didn't like. He stood behind her for a full minute before settling into a chair. She was good. Like top five scoreboard good. Unless Marcus' small knowledge of the game would make any decent player a goddess of assassination. He would speak when she had to load. He figured this level of game play required silence like a quiet art.
If Marcus had cat ears they would twitch in surprise. He was mostly a nostoalgic fan of the old video gaming consoles, but he appreciated them like any true gamer. And here was another person who probably felt the same, to the point of picking them up and dusting them off and playing them. A simple glance around the party showed that more faces had showed up, and most of them were familiar Brookridges. Tha was fine because his look was to search and see if someone would play the older models, they weren't. Marcus gave the boy a determined nod before speaking, "I've never beaten it alone. But let's see how far we can get! Be sure to get a drink or something, it's all for all here. I'll start up the two player mode." He headed to the ancient game and selected the classic Mario game from the stack. Placing it inside the slot and firing up the console. Grinning all the while as he picked up the controller from atop the machine and selected the multiplayer mode. It was when that was done that he settled into a chair and selected Mario as his character. He hoped the other boy didn't mind, it was just that he had the first controller. This was so exciting, sure the boy could be an awful gamer but that wasn't the point. He had a friend, one who played video games at that. Sure gamers weren't a rare commodity, but for certain people friendship was. Wait wait, he was getting ahead of himself, this guy didn't even know Marcus, the thought made him sigh, maybe after this party he'd be. But for now, it was too safe too assume. Operation Party Friend was still in progress. Complete the mission above anything else.
Yes.
I'm on it
Marcus resisted his urge to sit down and play after all this time maybe boring old Theodore would do something. How did he eat that first pizza so fast? Marcus was confused he answered his question but the answer was not uplifting as Theodore turned his back soon after. Marcus furrowed his dark brows in thought. Did he eat his the pizza and leave? He freeloaded but in the most polite way Marcus had ever seen. Luckily for Theo, a completely new face to all Brookridge kids present was a new face. With different colored eyes. He immediately associated him with the Final Fantasy franchise but that was irrelevant to Marcus, instead what what the boy had said was what resounded in him. Marcus smiled and left at the chance to approach the boy. "Weeks? Most people haven't played a 64 in years! So I'm glad someone knows how I feel. " He spoke up more then he usually did, because of the background noise, he then gestured to the T.V. along the same wall as the green 64," I put it right next to the dDreamcast and got a few Sonic games for them both, people forget that Sonic originated elsewhere and not from Nintendo!" Marcus was almost out of breath by the time he stopped talking, he was so excited that he forgot about his freeloading roommate. One gamer already and they were just getting started .
